Year 8 OCR German: Quick Reference Handbook of Formulas and Rules | Year 8 OCR 德语:公式定理速查手册

📚 Year 8 OCR German: Quick Reference Handbook of Formulas and Rules | Year 8 OCR 德语:公式定理速查手册

This handbook gathers the most essential German grammar ‘formulas’ needed by Year 8 learners following the OCR syllabus. Instead of just memorising isolated words, you will see how the language works like a set of building blocks – nouns have genders, articles change with cases, and word order follows predictable patterns. Master these patterns, and you will be able to build correct sentences with confidence. The handbook covers noun gender clues, case tables, verb conjugation, key sentence structures, modal verbs, the perfect tense and adjective endings – all distilled into clear rules that you can refer to quickly.

这本手册整理了 OCR 课程八年级学生需要掌握的最核心的德语语法“公式”。语言学习不只是背单词,更像是用一套积木规则来搭建句子——名词有性别,冠词随格变化,语序有固定的模式。掌握了这些规律,你就能自信地造出正确的德语句子。手册涵盖名词性别信号、格变化表、动词变位、关键句型、情态动词、现在完成时和形容词词尾,所有规则都浓缩成简明公式,方便你随时查阅。

1. The Gender Formula | 名词性别公式

Every German noun has one of three genders: masculine (der), feminine (die) or neuter (das). While you must learn the article with the noun, there are helpful ending patterns that act as formulas.

每个德语名词都带有三种性别之一:阳性(der)、阴性(die)或中性(das)。虽然必须随名词记住冠词,但有些词尾规律可以当作公式来用。

  • Nouns ending in -er, -en, -el, -ig, -ling are usually masculine. Example: der Lehrer (teacher).
    以 -er、-en、-el、-ig、-ling 结尾的名词通常是阳性。例如: der Lehrer(老师)。

  • Nouns ending in -in, -ung, -heit, -keit, -schaft, -ei, -ie, -ik are typically feminine. Example: die Freundin (female friend).
    以 -in、-ung、-heit、-keit、-schaft、-ei、-ie、-ik 结尾的名词通常是阴性。例如: die Freundin(女性朋友)。

  • Nouns ending in -chen, -lein, -ment, -um, -tum and many ge- words are neuter. Example: das Mädchen (girl).
    以 -chen、-lein、-ment、-um、-tum 结尾及许多 ge- 开头的名词是中性。例如: das Mädchen(女孩)。

These endings are powerful clues – use them as starting points, but always check exceptions.

这些词尾是很有用的线索,当作入门公式使用,但要注意例外情况。

2. Definite and Indefinite Articles | 定冠词与不定冠词

The definite article (the) and indefinite article (a/an) change according to the case. Think of them as identity cards for the noun’s role in the sentence.

定冠词和不定冠词会根据格变化。可以把它们看作名词在句子中角色的身份卡。

Case Masculine Feminine Neuter Plural (all genders)
Nominative der / ein die / eine das / ein die / keine
Accusative den / einen die / eine das / ein die / keine
Dative dem / einem der / einer dem / einem den / keinen

Notice that in the dative plural, the noun itself often adds -n. Formula: Plural dative noun + -n (if possible). Example: den Kindern (to the children).

注意与格复数时,名词本身常加 -n。公式:复数与格名词 + -n(如果可能)。例如: den Kindern(给孩子们)。

3. Nominative Case Formula | 第一格公式

The nominative case marks the subject of the sentence – the person or thing doing the action. Basic pattern: Der/Die/Das + Noun + Verb + …

第一格表示句子的主语——执行动作的人或物。基本句型:Der/Die/Das + 名词 + 动词 + …

Example: Der Junge spielt Fußball. (The boy plays football.)
例子: Der Junge spielt Fußball.(男孩踢足球。)

With ‘sein’ (to be), both sides stay nominative: X ist Y (both X and Y in nominative). Complete formula: Subject (Nominative) + Verb + Predicate Noun/Adj (Nominative)

用 sein(是)时两边都用第一格:X ist Y(X 和 Y 都是第一格)。完整公式:主语(第一格)+ 动词 + 表语名词/形容词(第一格)

4. Accusative Case Formula | 第四格公式

The accusative case marks the direct object – the person or thing directly receiving the action. Formula: Subject + Verb + Accusative Object

第四格表示直接宾语——直接承受动作的人或物。公式:主语 + 动词 + 第四格宾语

Remember: masculine articles change from ‘der’ to ‘den’ and ‘ein’ to ‘einen’; feminine, neuter and plural stay the same as nominative.

记住:阳性冠词从 der 变成 den,ein 变成 einen;阴性、中性和复数与第一格相同。

Common accusative prepositions: durch (through), für (for), ohne (without), um (around). Formula: Preposition + Preposition + Accusative Noun

常见的第四格介词:durch(穿过)、für(为了)、ohne(没有)、um(围绕)。公式:介词 + 第四格名词

5. Dative Case Formula | 第三格公式

The dative case marks the indirect object – to whom or for whom something is done. Formula: Subject + Verb + Dative Object + Accusative Object

第三格表示间接宾语——动作是为谁或对谁做的。公式:主语 + 动词 + 第三格宾语 + 第四格宾语

Example: Ich gebe dem Mann das Buch. (I give the man the book.)
例子: Ich gebe dem Mann das Buch.(我给那个男人这本书。)

Common dative prepositions: aus (out of), bei (at), mit (with), nach (after/to), seit (since), von (from), zu (to). Formula: Preposition + Preposition + Dative Noun

常见第三格介词:aus(从…出来)、bei(在…旁)、mit(和)、nach(之后/往)、seit(自从)、von(来自)、zu(向)。公式:介词 + 第三格名词

6. Present Tense Verb Conjugation Formula | 现在时动词变位公式

Regular verbs follow a clear stem + ending pattern. Remove -en to find the stem, then add the correct ending.

规则动词遵循明确的词干+词尾模式。去掉 -en 得到词干,再加上正确的词尾。

Person Ending Example: spielen (to play)
ich (I) -e spiele
du (you, informal) -st spielst
er/sie/es (he/she/it) -t spielt
wir (we) -en spielen
ihr (you, plural) -t spielt
sie/Sie (they/you formal) -en spielen

Some strong verbs change the vowel in the du and er/sie/es forms. Example: lesen → du liest, er liest. Treat these as irregular formulas to memorise.

有些强变化动词在 du 和 er/sie/es 人称时元音改变。例如: lesen → du liest, er liest。把这些不规则变化当作需要记住的特殊公式。

7. Sentence Structure Formula: Main Clauses | 主句结构公式

In a German main clause, the conjugated verb is always the second idea. The first element can be the subject, a time phrase, a place, or another adverbial. Formula: Position 1 (any element) + Verb + Subject + …

在德语主句中,变位动词永远占据第二位。第一位可以是主语、时间状语、地点或其他副词。公式:第一位(任何成分) + 动词 + 主语 + …

Examples:
Ich gehe morgen ins Kino. (Subject first.)
Morgen gehe ich ins Kino. (Adverb first, verb then subject.)

例子:
Ich gehe morgen ins Kino.(主语在前。)
Morgen gehe ich ins Kino.(副词在前,动词第二位,主语紧接其后。)

This rule also applies after coordinating conjunctions (und, aber, denn, oder, sondern) which do not affect word order.

这条规则也适用于并列连词(und、aber、denn、oder、sondern)之后,它们不改变语序。

8. Modal Verb Formulas | 情态动词公式

Modal verbs express ability, necessity or desire. They are conjugated, and the main verb goes to the end as an infinitive. Formula: Subject + Modal Verb (conjugated) + … + Infinitive (at end)

情态动词表示能力、必须或愿望。情态动词本身变位,主动词以原形放在句末。公式:主语 + 情态动词(变位) + … + 原形动词(句尾)

Key modals: wollen (to want), können (can), müssen (must), dürfen (may).

关键情态动词: wollen(想)、können(能)、müssen(必须)、dürfen(允许)。

Pronoun wollen können müssen
ich will kann muss
du willst kannst musst
er/sie/es will kann muss
wir wollen können müssen
ihr wollt könnt müsst
sie/Sie wollen können müssen

9. Perfect Tense Formula with ‘haben’ | 现在完成时公式(用 haben)

The perfect tense describes past events in spoken German. Most verbs form it with ‘haben’ as the auxiliary. Formula: Subject + haben (conjugated) + … + Past Participle (ge- stem -t / -en)

现在完成时在口语中描述过去的事件。大多数动词用 haben 作助动词。公式:主语 + haben(变位) + … + 过去分词(ge-词干-t 或 -en)

Regular: spielen → gespielt (ge + stem + t). Example: Ich habe Fußball gespielt.

规则变化: spielen → gespielt (ge + 词干 + t)。例如: Ich habe Fußball gespielt.(我踢了足球。)

Irregular: lesen → gelesen (ge + stem + en, stem vowel often changes). Learn these as individual formulas.

不规则变化: lesen → gelesen (ge + 词干 + en,词干元音往往变化)。把这些当作单独公式记忆。

10. Adjective Endings After Definite Articles | 定冠词后形容词词尾

After der, die, das in the nominative and accusative, adjectives take a predictable -e or -en. Formula for nominative singular: der/die/das + adjective + -e + noun

在第一格和第四格中,der、die、das 后面的形容词有可预测的词尾 -e 或 -en。第一格单数公式:der/die/das + 形容词 + -e + 名词

Case Masculine Feminine Neuter Plural
Nominative der gute Mann die gute Frau das gute Kind die guten Leute
Accusative den guten Mann die gute Frau das gute Kind die guten Leute
Dative dem guten Mann der guten Frau dem guten Kind den guten Leuten

Notice that many endings collapse to -en once you leave the nominative singular. Treat the table as a reference formula.

注意,离开第一格单数后,很多词尾都变成 -en。把表格当作参考公式使用。

11. Preposition Case Pairs | 介词与格搭配公式

Some prepositions take either accusative or dative depending on movement (directional) versus location (static). Known as Wechselpräpositionen. Formula: Accusative = movement towards; Dative = static position

有些介词根据方向(移动)或位置(静止)要求第四格或第三格,称为可换格介词。公式:第四格 = 方向移动;第三格 = 静止位置

List: an (on vertical), auf (on horizontal), hinter (behind), in (in/into), neben (next to), über (over), unter (under), vor (in front of), zwischen (between).

列表: an(在…垂直面)、auf(在…水平面)、hinter(在…后面)、in(在…里面/进入)、neben(在…旁边)、über(在…上方)、unter(在…下面)、vor(在…前面)、zwischen(在…之间)。

Examples:
Ich gehe in die Schule. (Accusative – movement into)
Ich bin in der Schule. (Dative – position inside)

例子:
Ich gehe in die Schule.(第四格——进入学校)
Ich bin in der Schule.(第三格——在学校里)

12. Key Question Word Formulas | 疑问词公式

Questions can be formed by placing the conjugated verb first for yes/no questions, or by using a question word followed by the verb. Formula: Question Word + Verb + Subject + …?

疑问句可以通过把变位动词放在首位构成一般疑问句,或者用疑问词加动词构成特殊疑问句。公式:疑问词 + 动词 + 主语 + …?

German English Example
Wer? Who? Wer ist das?
Was? What? Was machst du?
Wo? Where? (static) Wo wohnst du?
Wohin? Where to? (direction) Wohin gehst du?
Wann? When? Wann beginnt die Schule?
Warum? Why? Warum lernst du Deutsch?
Wie? How? Wie geht es dir?

Combine these with the word order formula and you can ask any question accurately.

把这些疑问词和语序公式结合起来,你就能准确地提出任何问题。
