📚 KS3 WJEC Spanish: Quick Reference Handbook of Formulas and Theorems | KS3 WJEC 西班牙语:公式定理速查手册

Mastering Spanish grammar is like learning a set of reliable formulas – once you know the patterns, you can build sentences with confidence. This handbook presents the essential ‘theorems’ and ‘formulas’ you need for the KS3 WJEC Spanish curriculum. Each rule is stated clearly as a formula, followed by examples and practice notes. Keep it by your side while completing homework, preparing for assessments, or brushing up on the basics. By treating grammar as a mathematical system, you will find Spanish more logical and easier to remember.

掌握西班牙语语法就像学习一套可靠的公式——一旦你熟悉了这些模式,你就能自信地构建句子。本手册列出了 KS3 WJEC 西班牙语课程所需的核心“定理”和“公式”。每条规则都以公式的形式清晰地呈现,并附有示例和使用说明。你可以把它放在手边,做作业、准备考试或复习基础知识时随时查阅。把语法当作一个数学体系来学习,你会发现西班牙语更有条理,也更容易记忆。

1. Noun Gender Formula | 名词性别公式

Every Spanish noun is either masculine or feminine. Use this formula to predict gender:

每个西班牙语名词要么是阳性,要么是阴性。用这个公式来判断性别:

Noun ending in -o → masculine (el)

以 -o 结尾 → 阳性 (el)

Noun ending in -a → feminine (la)

以 -a 结尾 → 阴性 (la)

Exceptions: el día (day), la mano (hand), el problema (problem), la foto (photo). Always learn the article with the noun.

注意例外:el día(天)、la mano(手)、el problema(问题)、la foto(照片)。务必连同冠词一起记忆名词。

Other useful patterns: nouns ending in -ción, -sión, -dad are usually feminine (la nación, la televisión, la ciudad).

其他常见模式:以 -ción, -sión, -dad 结尾的名词通常是阴性(la nación, la televisión, la ciudad)。

2. Definite and Indefinite Article Theorem | 定冠词与不定冠词定理

Articles must agree in gender and number with the noun. The formulas are:

冠词必须在性和数上与名词一致。公式如下:

Definite (the) Singular Plural
Masculine el los
Feminine la las
Indefinite (a, an, some) Singular Plural
Masculine un unos
Feminine una unas

Use ‘el’ before feminine singular nouns beginning with stressed ‘a’ or ‘ha’ for sound: el agua (the water) but las aguas.

在重读的 ‘a’ 或 ‘ha’ 开头的阴性单数名词前使用 ‘el’ 以方便发音:el agua(水),但复数用 las aguas。

3. Adjective Agreement Formula | 形容词一致性公式

Adjectives change their ending to match the noun they describe. This is the core equation:

形容词要根据所修饰的名词变化词尾。核心公式如下:

Adjective base + -o (masculine singular) → -os (masculine plural)

形容词词干 + -o(阳性单数) → -os(阳性复数)

Adjective base + -a (feminine singular) → -as (feminine plural)

形容词词干 + -a(阴性单数) → -as(阴性复数)

Example: alto (tall) → alto, alta, altos, altas. For adjectives ending in -e or a consonant, they only change for plural: inteligente → inteligentes; fácil → fáciles.

例子:alto(高的)→ alto, alta, altos, altas。以 -e 或辅音结尾的形容词,只随单复数变化:inteligente → inteligentes;fácil → fáciles。

Position rule: descriptive adjectives usually go after the noun (un libro interesante), while numbers and certain short adjectives often go before (muchos libros, buen día).

位置规则:描述性形容词通常放在名词之后(un libro interesante),而数字和某些短形容词常放在名词之前(muchos libros, buen día)。

4. Subject Pronoun Theorem | 主语代词定理

Spanish subject pronouns are the foundation for verb conjugation. Memorise this set:

西班牙语的主语代词是动词变位的基础。记住下面这组:

Person Singular Plural
1st yo (I) nosotros/nosotras (we)
2nd tú (you, informal) vosotros/vosotras (you all, informal Spain)
3rd él/ella/usted (he/she/you formal) ellos/ellas/ustedes (they/you all)

Note: In Latin America ‘ustedes’ replaces ‘vosotros’ for all plural ‘you’. Subject pronouns are often omitted because the verb ending already indicates the subject.

注意:在拉丁美洲,’ustedes’ 代替 ‘vosotros’ 表示所有的复数“你们”。由于动词词尾已能体现主语,主语代词常常省略。

5. Present Tense Conjugation Formulas | 现在时变位公式

Regular verbs follow predictable formulas based on their infinitive ending. Learn these three templates:

规则动词根据其不定式结尾遵循可预测的公式。学习下面这三种模板:

-AR verbs: stem + o, as, a, amos, áis, an

-AR 动词:词干 + o, as, a, amos, áis, an

-ER verbs: stem + o, es, e, emos, éis, en

-ER 动词:词干 + o, es, e, emos, éis, en

-IR verbs: stem + o, es, e, imos, ís, en

-IR 动词:词干 + o, es, e, imos, ís, en

Example aplicar (to speak): hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, habláis, hablan. Comer (to eat): como, comes, come, comemos, coméis, comen. Vivir (to live): vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, vivís, viven.

例子 hablar(说):hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, habláis, hablan。comer(吃):como, comes, come, comemos, coméis, comen。vivir(生活):vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, vivís, viven。

6. Key Irregular Verb Theorems | 关键不规则动词定理

Some of the most common verbs do not follow the regular formulas. Master these fundamental irregularities:

一些最常用的动词不遵循规则公式。掌握以下基本的不规则变化:

Ser (to be – permanent): soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son

Ser(是——永久性): soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son

Estar (to be – temporary/location): estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están

Estar(是——暂时性/位置): estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están

Tener (to have): tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, tenéis, tienen

Tener(有): tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, tenéis, tienen

Ir (to go): voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van

Ir(去): voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van

Hacer (to do/make): hago, haces, hace, hacemos, hacéis, hacen

Hacer(做): hago, haces, hace, hacemos, hacéis, hacen

Memory trick: the ‘yo’ form often ends in -go or -oy for these irregulars. Repeat them aloud until they become automatic.

记忆技巧:这些不规则动词的“yo”形常以 -go 或 -oy 结尾。大声反复朗读,直到脱口而出。

7. Simple Sentence Structure Formula | 简单句结构公式

Basic Spanish sentences follow a consistent word order. Use this formula for declarative statements:

基本的西班牙语句子遵循固定的词序。使用这个公式来写陈述句:

S + V + O (+ complement)

主语 + 动词 + 宾语(+ 补语)

Example: Yo estudio español en casa. (I study Spanish at home.) However, because the verb often indicates the subject, you can drop the pronoun: Estudio español en casa.

例子:Yo estudio español en casa.(我在家学习西班牙语。)不过,由于动词通常能显示主语,主语代词可以省略:Estudio español en casa。

For questions, simply add question marks and rising intonation, or invert subject and verb: ¿Estudias español? (Do you study Spanish?).

对于疑问句,只需加上问号和升调,或将主语和动词倒置:¿Estudias español?(你学习西班牙语吗?)

8. Negation Formula | 否定公式

Making a sentence negative in Spanish is straightforward. Apply this transformation:

在西班牙语中将句子变为否定非常简单。应用以下转换:

Positive sentence → No + verb + rest of sentence

肯定句 → No + 动词 + 其余部分

Example: Hablo francés. → No hablo francés. (I do not speak French.) Other negative words like nunca (never), nada (nothing), nadie (nobody) can be used instead of ‘no’ or alongside it: No hablo nunca. or Nunca hablo.

例子:Hablo francés. → No hablo francés.(我不说法语。)其他的否定词如 nunca(从不)、nada(什么也没有)、nadie(没有人)可以代替 no 或与 no 一起使用:No hablo nunca. 或 Nunca hablo。

9. Question Word Formulas | 疑问词公式

To ask for specific information, place the question word at the beginning. Learn these key interrogatives:

要询问特定信息,将疑问词放在句首。记住以下这些关键的疑问词:

  • ¿Qué? (What?) – ¿Qué comes? (What are you eating?)
  • ¿Quién? / ¿Quiénes? (Who?) – ¿Quién es? (Who is it?)
  • ¿Dónde? (Where?) – ¿Dónde vives? (Where do you live?)
  • ¿Cuándo? (When?) – ¿Cuándo llegas? (When do you arrive?)
  • ¿Por qué? (Why?) – ¿Por qué estudias español? (Why do you study Spanish?)
  • ¿Cómo? (How?) – ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?)
  • ¿Cuál? / ¿Cuáles? (Which? / Which ones?) – ¿Cuál prefieres? (Which one do you prefer?)
  • ¿Cuánto/a/os/as? (How much/many?) – ¿Cuántos años tienes? (How old are you?)

All question words carry a written accent. Notice the formula: ¿Question word + verb + subject?

所有疑问词都带书写重音。注意公式:¿疑问词 + 动词 + 主语?

10. Near Future Formula (ir a + infinitive) | 近期将来时公式 (ir a + 动词原形)

To talk about what you are going to do, you do not need to learn a new conjugation for the future. Use this powerful formula:

要表达打算做某事,你不需要学习将来的新变位。用这个强大的公式:

Ir (conjugated) + a + infinitive

Ir(变位)+ a + 动词原形

Example: Voy a jugar al fútbol. (I am going to play football.) Vas a comer. (You are going to eat.) Vamos a estudiar. (We are going to study.) This formula works for all subjects – just conjugate ‘ir’ correctly.

例子:Voy a jugar al fútbol.(我要去踢足球。)Vas a comer.(你要去吃饭。)Vamos a estudiar.(我们要去学习。)这个公式适用于所有主语——只需正确变位 ‘ir’ 即可。

11. Possessive Adjective Formula | 物主形容词公式

Possessive adjectives agree with the noun they modify, not with the possessor. This is the master formula:

物主形容词与它们所修饰的名词保持性和数的一致,而不与所有者一致。这是主导公式:

Possessor Singular Plural
yo mi / mis mis
tu / tus tus
él/ella/usted su / sus sus
nosotros nuestro/a/os/as nuestros/as
vosotros vuestro/a/os/as vuestros/as
ellos/ellas/ustedes su / sus sus

‘Mi libro’ (my book), ‘mis libros’ (my books). Only ‘nuestro’ and ‘vuestro’ change for gender. Example: nuestra casa, nuestros amigos.

‘Mi libro’(我的书),’mis libros’(我的书(复数))。只有 ‘nuestro’ 和 ‘vuestro’ 需要根据性别变化。例如:nuestra casa, nuestros amigos。

12. Cardinal and Ordinal Number Formulas | 基数词与序数词公式

Numbers are essential for time, age, and quantity. Learn these building blocks and the formula for combining them:

数字对于表达时间、年龄和数量至关重要。学习这些基本构成和组合公式:

Cardinals 0-20: cero, uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez, once, doce, trece, catorce, quince, dieciséis, diecisiete, dieciocho, diecinueve, veinte

基数词 0-20:cero, uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez, once, doce, trece, catorce, quince, dieciséis, diecisiete, dieciocho, diecinueve, veinte

For numbers 21–29, use the formula: veinti + unit (veintiuno, veintidós…). From 30 onwards, use tens y units: treinta y uno, cuarenta y dos. ‘Uno’ becomes ‘un’ before masculine nouns and ‘una’ before feminine: veintiún años, veintiuna chicas.

21–29 使用公式:veinti + 个位数(veintiuno, veintidós…)。从 30 开始,使用 十位数 + y + 个位数:treinta y uno, cuarenta y dos。’uno’ 在阳性名词前变为 ‘un’,在阴性名词前变为 ‘una’:veintiún años, veintiuna chicas。

Ordinals 1st–10th: primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto, quinto, sexto, séptimo, octavo, noveno, décimo. They agree in gender and number: la primera clase, los primeros días.

序数词 第1–第10:primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto, quinto, sexto, séptimo, octavo, noveno, décimo。它们需要与名词保持性数一致:la primera clase, los primeros días。
