1. Stage Spaces and Areas | 舞台空间与区域

A proscenium arch frames the stage like a picture; the audience faces one side. A thrust stage extends into the audience on three sides, while theatre-in-the-round places the audience all around the acting space. Traverse staging puts the audience on two opposite sides, and a black box studio is a flexible empty room. Knowing the space helps you justify sightlines and the actor-audience relationship.
