1. SI Units and Prefixes | 国际单位制与词头

Engineering calculations always start with standard SI base units: length in metres (m), mass in kilograms (kg), time in seconds (s), electric current in amperes (A) and temperature in kelvin (K). Derived units include newton (N) for force, pascal (Pa) for pressure, joule (J) for energy and watt (W) for power.
