1. Quantities, Units and Modelling Assumptions | 力学量、单位与建模假设
Before applying any formula, identify the fundamental quantities: displacement s (m), initial velocity u (m s⁻¹), final velocity v (m s⁻¹), acceleration a (m s⁻²), time t (s), mass m (kg) and force F (N). Always use base SI units in every calculation, and convert km h⁻¹ to m s⁻¹ by dividing by 3.6 or multiplying by 1000/3600.
