IGCSE: French – First Language
Cambridge IGCSE First Language French is tailored for students whose native language is French. The course sharpens their ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively. They build a rich vocabulary, master correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and cultivate a personal style while keeping their audience in mind. Learners are also encouraged to read widely—both for pleasure and to appreciate how writers achieve their effects. This subject complements other areas of study by strengthening broadly applicable skills.
IGCSE: French – Foreign Language
Cambridge IGCSE Foreign Language French is designed for those learning French as a non-native language. The goal is to use the language effectively for practical communication. The course develops the linked skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, building on them progressively. It also offers insights into the culture and civilisation of French-speaking countries, fostering positive attitudes toward language learning and speakers of other languages.
A & AS Level: French

Through this study, they achieve greater fluency, accuracy, and confidence in the language.
