1. Conquest and Control | 征服与控制

After the death of Edward the Confessor, three rivals claimed the English throne. William of Normandy’s victory at Hastings transformed England, introducing Norman rule and a new system of landholding. Key sources include the Bayeux Tapestry and Domesday Book.
