Choosing German opens doors to a world of rich culture, exciting travel opportunities, and a strong advantage in future careers.
德语是欧盟内使用最广泛的母语,约有 1 亿欧洲人使用。它是德国、奥地利、列支敦士登的官方语言,也是瑞士、卢森堡和比利时的官方语言之一。选择德语将为你打开一扇通往深厚文化、精彩旅行和未来职业优势的大门。

2. The German Alphabet & Pronunciation | 德语字母与发音
German uses the same 26 letters as English, but there are also four special characters: ä, ö, ü and ß (called Eszett or sharp S). Mastering pronunciation from the start makes all the difference. Many German letters are pronounced differently from their English counterparts, so let’s tackle them step by step.
德语使用与英语相同的 26 个字母,但还有四个特殊字符:ä、ö、ü 和 ß(称为 Eszett 或锐 s)。从一开始就掌握发音至关重要。许多德语字母的发音与英语不同,我们来一步步学习。
Some key pronunciation rules: The letter V is pronounced like ‘f’ (as in ‘father’), W sounds like the English ‘v’ (as in ‘van’), and Z is a crisp ‘ts’ sound (as in ‘cats’). The special vowel ä sounds like the ‘e’ in ‘bed’, ö is made by rounding your lips as if to say ‘o’ but saying ‘e’, and ü is similar to making an ‘ee’ shape with your mouth while saying ‘oo’. The ß represents a double ‘s’ sound, as in ‘Straße’ (street).
| Letter | Pronunciation Guide (English) | 发音指南 (中文) |
|---|---|---|
| Ä ä | like ‘e’ in ‘bed’ | 类似“坏”中的 e 音 |
| Ö ö | say ‘e’ with rounded lips | 拢唇发 e 音 |
| Ü ü | say ‘ee’ while shaping lips for ‘oo’ | 嘴型为 u 发 i 音 |
| ß | sharp ‘ss’ sound | 尖锐的 ss 音 |
Practise saying the alphabet aloud: a (ah), be (bay), ce (tsay), de (day), e (ay), ef (eff), ge (gay), ha (hah), i (ee), jot (yot), ka (kah), el (ell), em (emm), en (enn), o (oh), pe (pay), qu (koo), er (err), es (ess), te (tay), u (oo), vau (fow), we (vay), ix (iks), ypsilon (upsilon), zet (tset).
大声朗读字母表:a (ah), be (bay), ce (tsay), de (day), e (ay), ef (eff), ge (gay), ha (hah), i (ee), jot (yot), ka (kah), el (ell), em (emm), en (enn), o (oh), pe (pay), qu (koo), er (err), es (ess), te (tay), u (oo), vau (fow), we (vay), ix (iks), ypsilon (upsilon), zet (tset)。
3. Greetings and Introductions | 问候与自我介绍
Starting with greetings sets the tone for any conversation. The most common informal greeting is simply “Hallo!” (Hello). For more formal situations, use “Guten Tag” (Good day) from late morning until early evening, “Guten Morgen” (Good morning) until around 10 o’clock, and “Guten Abend” (Good evening) after dark. In southern Germany and Austria, you will often hear “Grüß Gott” as a friendly hello. To say goodbye, “Tschüss” is the go-to casual choice.
从问候开始能为任何对话定下基调。最常见的非正式问候就是“Hallo!”(你好)。在较正式的场合,上午晚些到傍晚前用“Guten Tag”(你好/日安),上午 10 点左右前用“Guten Morgen”(早上好),天黑后用“Guten Abend”(晚上好)。在德国南部和奥地利,常能听到“Grüß Gott”作为友好的问候。告别时,“Tschüss”是最常用的口语选择。
Introducing yourself is simple. To say your name, use “Ich heiße …” (My name is …). To ask someone their name, ask “Wie heißt du?” (What is your name? informal) or “Wie heißen Sie?” (formal). You can also ask how someone is: “Wie geht’s?” (How’s it going?) The standard replies are “Gut, danke” (Fine, thanks) or “Es geht” (So-so). Always pair these with “Und dir?” (And you?) to keep the conversation flowing.
自我介绍很简单。说出你的名字用“Ich heiße …”(我叫……)。询问对方名字用“Wie heißt du?”(你叫什么?非正式)或“Wie heißen Sie?”(您的名字?正式)。你还可以问候对方:“Wie geht’s?”(你好吗?)。标准回答是“Gut, danke”(很好,谢谢)或“Es geht”(还行)。记得配上“Und dir?”(你呢?)让对话继续。
4. Numbers 1–20 | 数字 1–20
Numbers are everywhere – for age, time, quantities and phone numbers. In Year 7, you will need to count up to 20 confidently. Here are the German numbers from 1 to 20: pay attention to the unusual order in ’13’ and beyond, where the unit comes before the ten.
数字无处不在——年龄、时间、数量和电话号码都会用到。七年级要求你能自信地数到 20。以下是从 1 到 20 的德语数字:注意 13 以上的结构,个位数放在十位数前面。
| Number | German | English | 中文 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | eins | one | 一 |
| 2 | zwei | two | 二 |
| 3 | drei | three | 三 |
| 4 | vier | four | 四 |
| 5 | fünf | five | 五 |
| 6 | sechs | six | 六 |
| 7 | sieben | seven | 七 |
| 8 | acht | eight | 八 |
| 9 | neun | nine | 九 |
| 10 | zehn | ten | 十 |
| 11 | elf | eleven | 十一 |
| 12 | zwölf | twelve | 十二 |
| 13 | dreizehn | thirteen | 十三 |
| 14 | vierzehn | fourteen | 十四 |
| 15 | fünfzehn | fifteen | 十五 |
| 16 | sechzehn (note: dropped ‘s’) | sixteen | 十六(注意 s 被省略) |
| 17 | siebzehn (dropped ‘en’) | seventeen | 十七(en 被省略) |
| 18 | achtzehn | eighteen | 十八 |
| 19 | neunzehn | nineteen | 十九 |
| 20 | zwanzig | twenty | 二十 |
Use numbers to talk about age: “Wie alt bist du?” (How old are you?) – “Ich bin elf Jahre alt.” (I am eleven years old.) Notice the phrase ‘Jahre alt’ meaning ‘years old’. Try answering with your own age in German.
用数字谈论年龄:”Wie alt bist du?”(你多大?)– “Ich bin elf Jahre alt.”(我十一岁。)注意短语 “Jahre alt” 表示“岁”。试着用德语回答你自己的年龄。
5. Colours and Describing Objects | 颜色与描述物品
Colours make descriptions vivid. The key German colour words are: rot (red), blau (blue), grün (green), gelb (yellow), schwarz (black), weiß (white), braun (brown), orange (orange), lila (purple), rosa (pink) and grau (grey). They are usually used without an ending when they come after the verb ‘ist’.
颜色让描述生动起来。重要的德语颜色词汇有:rot(红),blau(蓝),grün(绿),gelb(黄),schwarz(黑),weiß(白),braun(棕),orange(橙),lila(紫),rosa(粉)和 grau(灰)。它们放在动词 “ist” 后面时通常不加词尾。
To describe a thing, simply say: “Der Tisch ist braun.” (The table is brown.) “Die Banane ist gelb.” (The banana is yellow.) “Das Buch ist rot.” (The book is red.) Notice the articles der, die, das – you will learn more about grammatical gender
