2. The Alphabet and Pronunciation | 字母与发音

The French alphabet is the same as English with 26 letters, but the pronunciation of many letters is different. Learning the letter sounds is the key to spelling your name and understanding new words. Practise saying each letter aloud: A (ah), B (bay), C (say), D (day), E (euh), F (eff), G (jzay), H (ahsh), I (ee), J (zjee), K (kah), L (ell), M (emm), N (enn), O (oh), P (pay), Q (koo), R (air), S (ess), T (tay), U (oo), V (vay), W (doo-bluh-vay), X (eeks), Y (ee-grek), Z (zed).

法语字母表与英语一样有 26 个字母,但许多字母的发音不同。学习字母发音是拼写你的名字和理解新单词的关键。大声练习念出每个字母:A(啊)、B(贝)、C(塞)、D(得)、E(呃)、F(埃夫)、G(热)、H(阿什)、I(伊)、J(日)、K(卡)、L(埃勒)、M(埃姆)、N(恩)、O(欧)、P(佩)、Q(库)、R(嗨呵)、S(埃斯)、T(特)、U(于)、V(韦)、W(杜布拉韦)、X(伊克斯)、Y(伊格莱克)、Z(泽德)。

French also uses accents that change pronunciation: the acute accent (é) sounds like the ‘ay’ in ‘play’, as in café. The grave accent (è) sounds like the ‘e’ in ‘bet’, as in très. The circumflex (ê) often softens the vowel, and the cedilla under ‘c’ (ç) makes it sound like ‘s’, as in garçon. Focus on these sounds, and you will be able to read most French words correctly.

法语还使用改变发音的音调符号:尖音符(é)发音类似英语 ‘play’ 中的 ‘ay’,如 café;重音符(è)发音类似 ‘bet’ 中的 ‘e’,如 très;长音符(ê)常使元音柔和一些;字母 c 下的变音符(ç)使其发 ‘s’ 的音,如 garçon。专注于这些发音,你就能正确读出大多数法语单词。

3. Greetings and Farewells | 问候与告别

Being able to greet someone politely is the first step in any conversation. The most common greeting is bonjour (hello / good day), used until the evening. In the evening and at night, you can say bonsoir (good evening). For an informal ‘hi’ among friends, use salut. To ask ‘How are you?’ you say Comment ça va? or the slightly more formal Comment allez-vous? A typical reply is Ça va bien, merci (I’m fine, thank you).

能够礼貌地打招呼是任何对话的第一步。最常见的问候语是 bonjour(你好/日安),通常用到傍晚。晚上和夜间可以说 bonsoir(晚上好)。朋友间非正式的“嗨”可以用 salut。要问“你好吗?”你可以说 Comment ça va? 或者稍微正式一点的 Comment allez-vous? 常见的回答是 Ça va bien, merci(我很好,谢谢)。

When it is time to part, you can say au revoir (goodbye) in most situations. À bientôt means ‘see you soon’, while À demain translates to ‘see you tomorrow’. For a very casual goodbye, salut can also be used. Practice these greetings with your family or a mirror, paying attention to the nasal ‘on’ sound in bonjour and the soft ‘r’ in au revoir.

道别时,大多数场合都可以说 au revoir(再见)。À bientôt 意为“回头见”,À demain 则意为“明天见”。非常随意的再见也可以说 salut。和家人一起或者对着镜子练习这些问候语,注意 bonjour 中的鼻音 ‘on’ 和 au revoir 中轻柔的 ‘r’ 音。

4. Introducing Yourself and Asking Names | 自我介绍与询问姓名

To introduce yourself, you can say: Je m’appelle… (My name is…). For example, Je m’appelle Lucas. To ask someone’s name, use Comment tu t’appelles? (informal) or Comment vous appelez-vous? (formal). The reply would be Je m’appelle Marie or simply Marie. You can also ask Et toi? (And you?) to return the question.

自我介绍时,你可以说:Je m’appelle…(我叫……)。例如,Je m’appelle Lucas. 询问对方的名字时,使用 Comment tu t’appelles?(非正式)或 Comment vous appelez-vous?(正式)。回答可以是 Je m’appelle Marie 或简单地说 Marie。你还可以用 Et toi?(你呢?)反问对方。

Other useful phrases include: J’habite à… (I live in…), J’ai … ans (I am … years old), and Je suis anglais(e) (I am English, add ‘e’ for feminine). Memorising these small sentences will help you complete a short self-introduction within the first few lessons. Write them on a card and practise them aloud.

其他有用的表达包括:J’habite à…(我住在……)、J’ai … ans(我……岁)和 Je suis anglais(e)(我是英国人,女生加 e)。记住这些短句将帮助你在最初几节课内完成简短的自我介绍。把它们写在卡片上并大声练习。

5. Numbers 1–20 and Age | 数字 1-20 与年龄

Numbers are essential for giving your age, telling time, and talking about dates. Practise counting from 1 to 20: un (1), deux (2), trois (3), quatre (4), cinq (5), six (6), sept (7), huit (8), neuf (9), dix (10), onze (11), douze (12), treize (13), quatorze (14), quinze (15), seize (16), dix-sept (17), dix-huit (18), dix-neuf (19), vingt (20). Notice the hyphen in compound numbers from 17 to 19.

数字对于说出年龄、报时和谈论日期至关重要。练习从 1 数到 20:un (1), deux (2), trois (3), quatre (4), cinq (5), six (6), sept (7), huit (8), neuf (9), dix (10), onze (11), douze (12), treize (13), quatorze (14), quinze (15), seize (16), dix-sept (17), dix-huit (18), dix-neuf (19), vingt (20)。注意 17 到 19 的复合数词中有连字符。

To say your age, use J’ai … ans. Literally, it means ‘I have … years’. So, J’ai onze ans means ‘I am eleven years old’. Remember that ans is always plural except when saying J’ai un an (I am one). Try chanting the numbers while climbing stairs or throwing a ball to make the practice physical and memorable.

说年龄时使用 J’ai … ans,字面意思是“我有……年”。因此,J’ai onze ans 就是“我十一岁”。记住,ans 总是用复数形式,除非说 J’ai un an(我一岁)。尝试在爬楼梯或抛球时唱念这些数字,让练习变得有肢体动作,印象更深刻。

6. Days, Months, and Dates | 星期、月份与日期

Learning the days of the week (les jours de la semaine) will allow you to understand your timetable and make plans. They are: lundi (Monday), mardi (Tuesday), mercredi (Wednesday), jeudi (Thursday), vendredi (Friday), samedi (Saturday), dimanche (Sunday). Days are not capitalised in French unless they start a sentence.

学习一周七天(les jours de la semaine)能让你理解课程表并安排计划。它们分别是:lundi(星期一)、mardi(星期二)、mercredi(星期三)、jeudi(星期四)、vendredi(星期五)、samedi(星期六)、dimanche(星期日)。在法语中,星期几的名称除非在句首,否则首字母不大写。

Months of the year (les mois de l’année) follow a similar low‑case rule: janvier, février, mars, avril, mai, juin, juillet, août, septembre, octobre, novembre, décembre. To say the date, use nous sommes le (number) mois. For example, Nous sommes le 5 septembre (It is the 5th of September). The first day of the month is simply le premier. Practise saying today’s date every morning.

一年中的月份(les mois de l’année)同样首字母小写:janvier, février, mars, avril, mai, juin, juillet, août, septembre, octobre, novembre, décembre。表达日期时,用 nous sommes le 加数字加月份。例如,Nous sommes le 5 septembre(今天是九月五日)。每月的一号则是 le premier。每天早上练习用说法语日期。

7. Colours and Classroom Objects | 颜色与课堂物品

Colours (les couleurs) bring vocabulary to life and help you describe the world around you. Key colours include: rouge (red), bleu (blue), vert (green), jaune (yellow), noir (black), blanc (white), rose (pink), orange (orange), violet (purple), gris (grey), and marron (brown). Note that most colour adjectives change their form to agree with the noun they describe: for masculine singular you add nothing, but for feminine singular you often add an -e, e.g., une voiture verte (a green car).

颜色(les couleurs)让词汇鲜活起来,并帮助你描述周围的世界。主要颜色包括:rouge(红)、bleu(蓝)、vert(绿)、jaune(黄)、noir(黑)、blanc(白)、rose(粉)、orange(橙)、violet(紫)、gris(灰)和 marron(棕)。注意,大多数颜色形容词要与其修饰的名词保持性数一致:阳性单数不加 e,阴性单数通常加 e,如 une voiture verte(一辆绿色的车)。

Classroom objects (les objets de la classe) are the vocabulary you will use every day: un stylo (a pen), un crayon (a pencil), une gomme (a rubber), une règle (a ruler), un cahier (an exercise book), un livre (a book), un sac (a bag), une trousse (a pencil case). The word un is for masculine nouns, and une for feminine. Try labelling objects at home with sticky notes to learn them effortlessly.

课堂物品(les objets de la classe)是你每天都会用到的词汇:un stylo(一支钢笔)、un crayon(一支铅笔)、une gomme(一块橡皮)、une règle(一把尺子)、un cahier(一个练习本)、un livre(一本书)、un sac(一个书包)、une trousse(一个铅笔盒)。un 用于阳性名词,une 用于阴性名词。试着在家中的物品上贴上便利贴,轻松掌握这些单词。

8. Family and Pets | 家庭与宠物

Talking about your family is a great way to build conversational skills. The basic family members are: ma mère (my mother), mon père (my father), mon frère (my brother), ma sœur (my sister), ma grand-mère (my grandmother), mon grand-père (my grandfather). Possessive adjectives mon and ma mean ‘my’. Use mon before masculine nouns and before feminine nouns starting with a vowel, ma before feminine consonants.

谈论家庭是培养对话能力的好方法。基本家庭成员有:ma mère(我的母亲)、mon père(我的父亲)、mon frère(我的兄弟)、ma sœur(我的姐妹)、ma grand-mère(我的祖母)、mon grand-père(我的祖父)。主有形容词 monma 表示“我的”。mon 用于阳性名词或以元音开头的阴性名词前,ma 用于以辅音开头的阴性名词前。

Pets are another favourite topic. Use J’ai un chien (I have a dog), J’ai un chat (I have a cat), J’ai un lapin (I have a rabbit) or J’ai un poisson rouge (I have a goldfish). To say you don’t have a pet, say Je n’ai pas d’animal. The verb avoir (to have) is essential here, and we will look at it in more detail next.

宠物是另一个大家喜爱的话题。使用 J’ai un chien(我有一只狗)、J’ai un chat(我有一只猫)、J’ai un lapin(我有一只兔子)或 J’ai un poisson rouge(我有一条金鱼)。表示没有宠物时,说 Je n’ai pas d’animal。这里动词 avoir(有)至关重要,接下来我们会详细探究。

9. Basic Verbs: Avoir and Être | 基础动词:avoir 和 être

The two most important verbs in French are avoir (to have) and être (to be). Mastering their present tense forms will allow you to build countless sentences. Here is the conjugaison of avoir: j’ai (I have), tu as (you have, singular informal), il/elle/on a (he/she/one has), nous avons (we have), vous avez (you have, plural/formal), ils/elles ont (they have). Notice the nasal sound at the end of ont.

法语最重要的两个动词是 avoir(有)和 être(是)。掌握它们的现在时变位将让你能够构建无数句子。avoir 的变位如下:j’ai(我有)、tu as(你有,单数非正式)、il/elle/on a(他/她/人们有)、nous avons(我们有)、vous avez(你们有/您有)、ils/elles ont(他们/她们有)。注意 ont 结尾的鼻音。

Now look at être: je suis (I am), tu es (you are), il/elle/on est (he/she/one is), nous sommes (we are), vous êtes (you are, plural/formal), ils/elles sont (they are). With these two verbs you can describe people, express possession, and state facts. A quick exercise: say Je suis content(e) (I am happy) and J’ai un cahier rouge (I have a red exercise book).

现在来看 êtreje suis(我是)、tu es(你是)、il/elle/on est(他/她/人们是)、nous sommes(我们是)、vous êtes(你们是/您是)、ils/elles sont(他们/她们是)。有了这两个动词,你就能描述人物、表达所有关系以及陈述事实。快速练习:说 Je suis content(e)(我很开心)和 J’ai un cahier rouge(我有一个红色的练习本)。

10. Likes and Dislikes | 喜欢与不喜欢

Expressing your tastes is a huge part of everyday conversation. The key structure is J’aime (I like) followed by a noun or an infinitive verb. For example, J’aime le foot (I like football), J’aime la musique (I like music), J’aime lire (I like reading). To say you don’t like something, use Je n’aime pas. For a strong dislike, you can say Je déteste. To express love for something, J’adore is very common.

表达个人喜好是日常对话的重要部分。核心结构是 J’aime(我喜欢)后接名词或动词不定式。例如,J’aime le foot(我喜欢足球)、J’aime la musique(我喜欢音乐)、J’aime lire(我喜欢阅读)。表示不喜欢某物时用 Je n’aime pas。表达强烈厌恶时可以说 Je déteste。要表达对某物的酷爱,J’adore 非常常用。

You can ask a friend about their preferences with Tu aimes…? For instance, Tu aimes les jeux vidéo? (Do you like video games?). The answer could be Oui, j’aime ça or Non, je n’aime pas ça. Practise with hobbies: la natation (swimming), le sport (sport), les films (films), le chocolat (chocolate). Start a ‘likes diary’ in French where you draw and label what you like.

你可以用 Tu aimes…? 询问朋友的喜好。例如,Tu aimes les jeux vidéo?(你喜欢电子游戏吗?)回答可以是 Oui, j’aime çaNon, je n’aime pas ça。用兴趣爱好来练习:la natation(游泳)、le sport(运动)、les films(电影)、le chocolat(巧克力)。开始记一本法语“喜好日记”,画出你喜欢的并用中文标注吧。

11. Classroom Commands and Useful Phrases | 课堂指令与常用语

Understanding what your teacher says in French will boost your confidence from the first lesson. Common classroom commands include: Écoutez! (Listen!), Répétez! (Repeat!), Regardez! (Look!), Asseyez-vous! (Sit down!), Levez-vous! (Stand up!), Ouvrez vos cahiers! (Open your exercise books!), Fermez vos cahiers! (Close your books!). The ‘ez’ ending indicates an instruction to the class or a polite command.

听懂老师用法语发出的指令将会从第一节课就提升你的自信心。常见的课堂指令包括:Écoutez!(听!)、Répétez!(重复!)、Regardez!(看!)、Asseyez-vous!(坐下!)、Levez-vous!(起立!)、Ouvrez vos cahiers!(打开练习本!)、Fermez vos cahiers!(合上书本!)。词尾的 ‘ez’ 表示对全班的指示或礼貌的指令。

You will also need polite requests: Je ne comprends pas (I don’t understand), J’ai une question (I have a question), Puis-je aller aux toilettes? (May I go to the toilet?), Comment dit-on … en français? (How do you say … in French?), and Excusez-moi (Excuse me). Learning these phrases will enable you to navigate the classroom entirely in French. Write them on the inside cover of your notebook.

你还需要一些礼貌的请求语:Je ne comprends pas(我不懂)、J’ai une question(我有个问题)、Puis-je aller aux toilettes?(我可以去厕所吗?)、Comment dit-on … en français?(……用法语怎么说?)以及 Excusez-moi(对不起/打扰一下)。学会这些句子将让你能够全程用法语在课堂上应对自如。把它们写在笔记本的内封面上吧。

12. Summer Practice Tips and Resources | 暑期练习提示与资源

Consistency is more effective than long study marathons. Aim for 15–20 minutes of French each day. You can watch short French cartoons like ‘Trotro’ or ‘Petit Ours Brun’ on YouTube with subtitles. Listen to French pop songs (e.g., Kids United) and try to sing along to internalise pronunciation and rhythm. Apps like Duolingo or Memrise can complement your vocabulary drills.

持之以恒比长时间突击学习更有效。每天花 15 到 20 分钟学法语。你可以在 YouTube 上观看带字幕的短片法语动画,如《Trotro》或《Petit Ours Brun》。听法语流行歌曲(例如 Kids United),并尝试跟唱,将发音和节奏内化。Duolingo 或 Memrise 等应用程序可以辅助你的词汇练习。

Keep a summer French journal. Each evening, write one sentence in French, such as Aujourd’hui, il fait beau (Today the weather is nice) or J’ai mangé une glace (I ate an ice cream). Making physical flashcards with words on one side and pictures on the other will help you review without translating. And most importantly, do not be afraid to speak out loud, even if you are alone; the sound of your own voice is a powerful learning tool.

坚持写暑期法语日志。每晚用法语写一句话,比如 Aujourd’hui, il fait beau(今天天气很好)或 J’ai mangé une glace(我吃了个冰淇淋)。制作实物闪卡,一面写单词,一面画图画,这样复习时就可以避免直接翻译。最重要的是,不要害怕大声说出来,即便只有你自己;你自己的声音是强大的学习工具。
