📚 Year 8 OCR French: Summer Bridging & Preparation | 八年级OCR法语:暑期预习与衔接课程

Summer is the ideal moment to look back on the French you learned in Year 8 and to build a solid bridge into Year 9. This guide will help you revisit essential vocabulary, sharpen your grammar, and develop the confidence to use French in everyday situations — all in bite‑sized, engaging sections.

暑假是回顾八年级所学法语、并为九年级学习搭建坚实桥梁的理想时机。本指南将以简洁有趣的方式,帮你重温核心词汇、打磨语法要点,并逐步建立在实际生活中使用法语的信心。

1. Essential Vocabulary Refresh | 核心词汇回顾

Before diving into grammar, it’s crucial to reactivate the words and phrases you covered this year. Start with personal identity — je m’appelle (my name is), j’ai … ans (I am … years old) — and then move to family members: ma mère (my mother), mon père (my father), mon frère (my brother), ma sœur (my sister).

在深入语法之前,重新激活今年学过的单词和短语至关重要。从个人信息入手——je m’appelle(我的名字是)、j’ai … ans(我……岁)——然后过渡到家庭成员:ma mère(我的妈妈)、mon père(我的爸爸)、mon frère(我的兄弟)、ma sœur(我的姐妹)。

Next, review school subjects and opinions. You need expressions like j’adore le dessin (I love art), je déteste les maths (I hate maths), and c’est intéressant / ennuyeux (it’s interesting / boring). Combine them with connectives such as mais (but), cependant (however) and parce que (because) to stretch your sentences.

接着复习学校科目和表达看法的用语。你需要掌握类似 j’adore le dessin(我超爱美术)、je déteste les maths(我讨厌数学)以及 c’est intéressant / ennuyeux(这很有趣/无聊)的说法。再搭配 mais(但是)、cependant(然而)和 parce que(因为)等连接词来拉长句子。

A final vocabulary cluster covers free time activities: je joue au foot (I play football), je fais de la natation (I go swimming), je regarde la télé (I watch TV) and je lis des bandes dessinées (I read comics). Practise saying these aloud to fix the pronunciation of eau, oi and silent consonants.

最后一组词汇覆盖休闲活动:je joue au foot(我踢足球)、je fais de la natation(我游泳)、je regarde la télé(我看电视)和 je lis des bandes dessinées(我看漫画)。大声朗读这些表达,以固化 eauoi 以及不发音辅音的发音。

2. Verb Conjugation Boot Camp | 动词变位训练营

Year 8 French revolves around present‑tense –er verbs. The pattern is simple once you spot it: remove –er and add –e, –es, –e, –ons, –ez, –ent. Take parler (to speak): je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent.

八年级法语围绕着以 –er 结尾的动词现在时变位展开。一旦你发现了规律,这个模式就非常简单:去掉 –er,加上词尾 –e、–es、–e、–ons、–ez、–ent。以 parler(说话)为例:je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent.

Be careful with spelling‑change verbs like manger (to eat): nous mangeons keeps the soft ‘g’ sound. Other useful –er verbs include aimer (to like), habiter (to live), écouter (to listen), travailler (to work) and penser (to think). Create flashcards with the subject pronouns on one side and the conjugated forms on the other to drill yourself daily.

当心拼写变化的动词,如 manger(吃):nous mangeons 保留软 ‘g’ 音。其他实用的 –er 动词包括 aimer(喜欢)、habiter(居住)、écouter(听)、travailler(工作)和 penser(思考)。制作抽认卡,一面写主语人称代词,另一面写变位形式,每天自我训练。

–ir and –re verbs also appear in Year 8. For finir (to finish) the endings are –is, –is, –it, –issons, –issez, –issent. For vendre (to sell) they are –s, –s, –, –ons, –ez, –ent. Rehearse them in short sentences: Je finis mes devoirs. (I finish my homework.) Nous vendons des gâteaux. (We sell cakes.)

–ir 和 –re 动词在八年级也会出现。finir(完成)的词尾是 –is、–is、–it、–issons、–issez、–issent。vendre(卖)的词尾是 –s、–s、–、–ons、–ez、–ent。用简短句子反复练习:Je finis mes devoirs.(我做完了作业。)Nous vendons des gâteaux.(我们卖蛋糕。)

3. The Tricky Trio: Avoir, Être, Faire | 三大难动词:avoir, être, faire

These irregular verbs are the backbone of many French structures. Avoir (to have): j’ai, tu as, il/elle/on a, nous avons, vous avez, ils/elles ont. It is used for age (J’ai douze ans), possessions (J’ai un chien), and later for the perfect tense.

这些不规则动词是许多法语结构的支柱。Avoir(有):j’ai, tu as, il/elle/on a, nous avons, vous avez, ils/elles ont. 它用于表达年龄(J’ai douze ans)、拥有(J’ai un chien),日后还会用于复合过去时。

Être (to be): je suis, tu es, il/elle/on est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils/elles sont. You need it for descriptions (Je suis grand(e)), nationalities (Elle est française) and feelings (Nous sommes fatigués). Memorise the full present tense by setting it to a catchy rhythm.

Être(是):je suis, tu es, il/elle/on est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils/elles sont. 描述特征(Je suis grand(e))、国籍(Elle est française)和感受(Nous sommes fatigués)时都离不开它。用朗朗上口的节奏把整个现在时背下来。

Faire (to do / to make) is equally common: je fais, tu fais, il/elle/on fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils/elles font. You will use it for activities (Je fais du vélo – I go cycling), weather (Il fait beau – It’s nice weather) and expressions like faire attention (to pay attention). Practise by writing a weekend diary using avoir, être and faire at least three times each.

Faire(做)同样频繁出现:je fais, tu fais, il/elle/on fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils/elles font. 你会用它描述活动(Je fais du vélo – 我骑自行车)、天气(Il fait beau – 天气好)以及 faire attention(注意)等表达。试写一篇周末日记,每篇至少使用 avoir、être 和 faire 各三次。

4. Adjectives & Agreement | 形容词与性数配合

In French, adjectives must agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) with the noun they describe. Most adjectives add an –e for the feminine and an –s for the plural: un garçon intelligentune fille intelligente ; des garçons intelligents ; des filles intelligentes.

法语中,形容词必须与它所修饰的名词在性(阳性/阴性)和数(单数/复数)上配合。大多数形容词在阴性时加 –e,复数时加 –s:un garçon intelligentune fille intelligente ; des garçons intelligents ; des filles intelligentes

Watch out for irregular adjectives: beau/belle (beautiful), nouveau/nouvelle (new), vieux/vieille (old). They also have special masculine forms before vowels: un bel homme, un nouvel ami, un vieil arbre. A quick table can help you visualise the patterns:

要注意不规则的形容词:beau/belle(美丽的)、nouveau/nouvelle(新的)、vieux/vieille(老的)。它们在元音前还有特殊的阳性形式:un bel hommeun nouvel amiun vieil arbre。一个简表能帮你直观把握这些模式:

Masculine singular Feminine singular Masculine plural Feminine plural
grand grande grands grandes
heureux heureuse heureux heureuses
blanc blanche blancs blanches

Position also matters. Most adjectives come after the noun: une robe bleue (a blue dress). However, a small group of BAGS adjectives (Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size) comes before the noun: une jolie fleur, un jeune chien, une bonne idée, un petit problème. Create silly sentences mixing both positions to make the rule stick.

位置也很重要。大多数形容词放在名词后面:une robe bleue(一条蓝色连衣裙)。但有一小类 BAGS 形容词(美、龄、好、尺寸)放在名词前面:une jolie fleur(一朵漂亮的花)、un jeune chien(一只幼犬)、une bonne idée(一个好主意)、un petit problème(一个小问题)。编些滑稽句子,把两种位置混用,来牢记规则。

5. Forming Questions | 疑问句的构造

In Year 8 you learn to ask questions in three main ways. The simplest is raising your voice at the end of a statement: Tu aimes le chocolat? (Do you like chocolate?). This is very common in spoken French.

八年级你会学到三种主要的提问方式。最简单的是在陈述句末尾提高语调:Tu aimes le chocolat ?(你喜欢巧克力吗?)。这在口语中非常普遍。

The second method uses est-ce que at the start: Est-ce que tu aimes le chocolat? It adds clarity and works for all question types. You can also swap the subject and verb: Aimes-tu le chocolat? This inversion, though more formal, is essential for written accuracy. Remember to add a hyphen and, when needed, a -t- for pronunciation: Parle-t-il anglais? (Does he speak English?).

第二种方法使用句首的 est-ce queEst-ce que tu aimes le chocolat ? 它让句子更清晰,适用于所有疑问类型。你还可以将主语和动词倒装:Aimes-tu le chocolat ? 这种倒装虽然更正式,但对书面准确性至关重要。别忘了加连字符,并根据需要插入 -t- 以便发音:Parle-t-il anglais ?(他说英语吗?)。

You also need question words: quand (when), (where), comment (how), pourquoi (why), combien (how much/many) and quel/quelle (which). Practise by interviewing a family member or a study buddy: Où habites-tu? (Where do you live?), Comment tu t’appelles? (What’s your name?), Pourquoi apprends-tu le français? (Why are you learning French?).

你还需要掌握疑问词:quand(何时)、(哪里)、comment(如何)、pourquoi(为什么)、combien(多少)以及 quel/quelle(哪个)。通过采访家人或学习伙伴来练习:Où habites-tu ?(你住在哪里?)、Comment tu t’appelles ?(你叫什么名字?)、Pourquoi apprends-tu le français ?(你为什么学法语?)。

6. The Near Future: Aller + Infinitive | 近将来时:aller + 不定式

The futur proche is the easiest way to talk about future plans. You conjugate aller in the present tense and follow it with any infinitive. The forms of aller are: je vais, tu vas, il/elle/on va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont.

近将来时是谈论未来计划的最简单方式。将 aller 变为现在时,然后跟上任何动词的不定式。aller 的变化是:je vais, tu vas, il/elle/on va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont.

Examples: Je vais regarder un film (I am going to watch a film), Nous allons visiter Paris (We are going to visit Paris), Elle va acheter une glace (She is going to buy an ice cream). Because the second verb stays in the infinitive, you only need to memorise six forms of aller — a huge shortcut!

例如:Je vais regarder un film(我打算看电影)、Nous allons visiter Paris(我们将参观巴黎)、Elle va acheter une glace(她要去买冰淇淋)。由于第二个动词始终保持不定式,你只需记住 aller 的六种变位——这实在是一条巨大的捷径!

To bridge into Year 9, try building a weekly calendar with at least five futur proche sentences, describing what you and your friends are going to do. Include time phrases like demain (tomorrow), ce soir (this evening), le week-end prochain (next weekend) and en juillet (in July).

为衔接九年级,试着制作一份周计划,至少写出五个近将来时句子,描述你和你朋友“将要做”的事情。加入时间短语,如 demain(明天)、ce soir(今晚)、le week-end prochain(下个周末)和 en juillet(在七月)。

7. Introduction to the Perfect Tense | 复合过去时入门

The passé composé is the main past tense you will encounter in Year 9, so a gentle introduction in summer is perfect. It is formed with the present tense of avoir (or sometimes être) plus a past participle. For –er verbs, the past participle ends in –é: j’ai parlé (I spoke), tu as mangé (you ate).

复合过去时是你在九年级将要遇到的主要过去时态,因此在暑期进行温和的入门再合适不过了。它由 avoir(有时是 être)的现在时加上过去分词构成。以 –er 结尾的动词,过去分词以 –é 结尾:j’ai parlé(我说了)、tu as mangé(你吃了)。

For –ir verbs like finir, the past participle is –i: j’ai fini. For –re verbs like vendre, it is –u: j’ai vendu. Irregular past participles need to be memorised step by step. Start with high‑frequency ones: fait (done), vu (seen), lu (read), bu (drunk), pris (taken).

以 –ir 结尾的动词(如 finir),过去分词是 –i:j’ai fini。以 –re 结尾的动词(如 vendre),过去分词是 –u:j’ai vendu。不规则过去分词需要逐步记忆。先从高频词开始:fait(做)、vu(看见)、lu(阅读)、bu(喝)、pris(拿)。

Be aware of the ‘être’ verbs — a small group of motion and state verbs that form the passé composé with être and require agreement: je suis allé(e) (I went), elle est née (she was born), ils sont partis (they left). You don’t need to master them now, but spotting them in reading will give you a head start.

请注意“être 动词”——一小群表示移动或状态的动词在构成复合过去时需用 être,并要求性数配合:je suis allé(e)(我去了)、elle est née(她出生了)、ils sont partis(他们离开了)。你现在不必完全掌握它们,但在阅读中认出来,会让你领先一步。

8. Negation: Ne…Pas and More | 否定式:ne…pas 及其他

Making sentences negative in French typically involves wrapping the verb with ne … pas. In spoken French the ne is often dropped, but for written accuracy you must keep it. Study the pattern: Je ne mange pas de viande. (I don’t eat meat.) Il n’aime pas danser. (He doesn’t like to dance.)

在法语中,把句子变为否定式通常需要用 ne … pas 把动词包围起来。口语中经常省略 ne,但为了书写正确,你必须保留它。观察这种模式:Je ne mange pas de viande.(我不吃肉。)Il n’aime pas danser.(他不喜欢跳舞。)

Year 8 students should also recognise other negative expressions: ne … jamais (never), ne … plus (no longer), ne … rien (nothing) and ne … personne (no one). For instance, Elle ne sort jamais le soir (She never goes out in the evening), Nous n’avons plus de lait (We no longer have milk).

八年级学生还应认识其他否定表达:ne … jamais(从不)、ne … plus(不再)、ne … rien(没有什么)和 ne … personne(没人)。例如,Elle ne sort jamais le soir(她晚上从不外出),Nous n’avons plus de lait(我们没有牛奶了)。

A crucial rule: after a negative expression, indefinite articles (un, une, des) and partitive articles (du, de la, de l’, des) usually change to de (or d’ before a vowel). So J’ai des pommes becomes Je n’ai pas de pommes. This tiny word causes many mistakes — practise until it feels natural.

一条关键规则:在否定表达之后,不定冠词(un、une、des)和部分冠词(du、de la、de l’、des)通常变为 de(或元音前的 d’)。因此 J’ai des pommes 变为 Je n’ai pas de pommes。这个小词造成很多错误,请反复练习直至熟能生巧。

9. Speaking & Pronunciation | 口语与发音练习

Oral confidence is a big part of success in OCR French. Practise the French ‘r’ sound — a gentle rasp at the back of the throat — by saying rouge, rue and français slowly. Nasal vowels, like in pain (bread), bon (good) and vingt (twenty), are produced by letting air pass through your nose.

口语自信是 OCR 法语成功的重要一环。练习法语 ‘r’ 音——喉部后方轻柔的摩擦——慢慢说出 rougeruefrançais。鼻化元音,如 pain(面包)、bon(好)和 vingt(二十),是通过让气流经过鼻腔发出的。

Liaison and elision make speech flow. In les amis the silent ‘s’ becomes a [z] sound: les‿amis. Elision occurs when le or je drops a vowel before another vowel: l’école, j’habite. Record yourself reading a short paragraph, then listen for these features.

联诵和省音让话语流畅。在 les amis 中,不发音的 ‘s’ 发成 [z] 音:les‿amis。省音是指 leje 在元音前省略元音:l’écolej’habite。录下自己朗读一个短段落的声音,然后仔细聆听这些特征。

To bridge into Year 9, try a daily speaking challenge. Describe your room, the weather, or your breakfast in French for 60 seconds without stopping. Don’t worry about mistakes — fluency comes from speaking, not from being perfect. Use fillers like alors (so), donc (therefore) and en fait (actually) to buy thinking time.

为衔接九年级,尝试进行每日口语挑战。用 60 秒不间断地用法语描述你的房间、天气或早餐。别担心错误——流利度来自开口说,而非完美无缺。使用 alors(那么)、donc(因此)、en fait(其实)等填充词来赢得思考时间。

10. Bridging to Year 9: What to Expect | 衔接九年级:可以期待什么

Year 9 OCR French deepens all the skills from Year 8 and introduces more extended writing and spontaneous speaking. You will study new topics such as holidays, healthy living, the environment and future plans. That means tenses will multiply: you’ll use the imperfect and the conditional alongside the present, perfect and near future.

九年级 OCR 法语会深化八年级的所有技能,并引入更长的写作和即兴口语。你将学习新主题,如假期、健康生活、环境和未来计划。这意味着时态会增多:你将在现在时、复合过去时和近将来时之外,还用到未完成时和条件式。

To prepare, keep a summer listening log: watch one short French cartoon clip per week (try Peppa Pig in French or Les aventures de Tintin) and write down five new words. This builds your ear for authentic speed and accents. Use an online dictionary to check meanings but write the definitions yourself.

为做好准备,保持一份暑期听力日志:每周观看一段短小的法语卡通片(试试法语版《小猪佩奇》或《丁丁历险记》),并记下五个新词。这会锻炼你对真实语速和口音的听力。使用在线词典查阅含义,但务必自己写下释义。

Also, familiarise yourself with the OCR assessment objectives: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In Year 9, you will often be asked to translate short sentences into French. Summer is a great time to practise translating simple English sentences that contain the grammar and vocabulary you have just refreshed.

同时,熟悉 OCR 评估目标:听、说、读、写。在九年级,你经常会被要求将短句翻译成法语。暑期正是练习翻译简单英文句子的好时机,这些句子正好包含你刚刚重温过的语法和词汇。

Finally, gather your resources. Organise your Year 8 vocabulary book, download a flashcard app, and bookmark a reliable grammar site. Entering Year 9 with a ready‑to‑use toolkit will make you feel in control and excited about the progress ahead.

最后,收整你的学习资源。整理好八年级的词汇本,下载一个抽认卡应用,并收藏一个可靠的语法网站。带着随时可用的工具箱进入九年级,会让你感觉一切尽在掌握,并对未来的进步充满期待。
