2. Socialisation | 社会化

Socialisation explains how we learn to become members of society. It is a lifelong process through which we absorb our culture.

Socialisation: the process by which individuals learn and internalise the norms, values and behaviours of their society.

Social institution: a stable cluster of values, norms, roles and groups that addresses a fundamental social need, such as the family, education or religion.

Family: a primary institution that cares for children, regulates sexual behaviour and provides emotional support; it is the main agent of primary socialisation.
