1. Noun Genders and Definite Articles | 名词性别与定冠词
Every German noun has a grammatical gender: masculine, feminine, or neuter. The definite article reflects the gender and must be learned together with the noun.
每个德语名词都有语法性别:阳性、阴性或中性。定冠词反映性别,必须和名词一起记忆。
- Masculine (der): der Tisch, der Mann, der Zug
- Feminine (die): die Lampe, die Frau, die Stadt
- Neuter (das): das Buch, das Kind, das Fahrrad
阳性:der Tisch, der Mann, der Zug
- 阴性:die Lampe, die Frau, die Stadt
- 中性:das Buch, das Kind, das Fahrrad
Definite Article Formula: Gender → der / die / das
2. The Four Cases and Their Functions | 四个格及其功能
German uses four cases to show the role of a noun or pronoun in a sentence. The case changes the article and sometimes the noun ending.
德语通过四个格表示名词或代词在句中的功能。格会改变冠词,有时也改变名词词尾。
| Case (格) | Function | Masculine (der) | Neuter (das) | Feminine (die) | Plural (die) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nominative | Subject (主语) | der | das | die | die |
| Accusative | Direct object (直接宾语) | den | das | die | die |
| Dative | Indirect object (间接宾语) | dem | dem | der | den ( +n ) |
| Genitive | Possession (所属) | des ( +s/es ) | des ( +s/es ) | der | der |
表格总结:一格主格、四格直接宾语、三格间接宾语、二格所有格。注意阳性四格变 den,三格阳性和中性变 dem。
3. Present Tense Verb Conjugation | 动词现在时变位
Regular German verbs follow a predictable pattern in the present tense. Learn the endings and apply them to the verb stem.
规则德语动词现在时遵循固定的变化模式。记住词尾并添加到动词词干上。
stem + e, st, t, en, t, en
例如 spielen (to play): ich spiele, du spielst, er/sie/es spielt, wir spielen, ihr spielt, sie/Sie spielen。
Example: spielen → spiel- (stem) → ich spiele, du spielst, er spielt, wir spielen, ihr spielt, sie spielen.
- Irregular stem changes (a → ä, e → i/ie): fahren (du fährst), sehen (du siehst), lesen (du liest)
一些强变化动词词干需变音:a→ä, e→i 或 ie,如 du fährst, du siehst, du liest。
4. Modal Verbs and the Sentence Frame | 情态动词与句子框架
Modal verbs (können, müssen, wollen, dürfen, sollen, möchten) modify the meaning of the main verb. The modal verb is conjugated and goes in the second position; the main verb goes to the end as an infinitive.
情态动词(können 能, müssen 必须, wollen 想要, dürfen 允许, sollen 应该, möchten 想)修饰主动词的意义。变位的情态动词位于第二位,主动词以原形放置在句尾。
Subject + Modal Verb (position 2) + … + Infinitive (end)
Ich kann gut schwimmen. (I can swim well. / 我能游得很好。)
Du musst jetzt gehen. (You must go now. / 你现在必须走。)
5. Perfect Tense with haben and sein | 完成时与 haben/sein
The spoken past (perfect) is formed with a helper verb (haben or sein) plus the past participle. Most verbs use haben; verbs of motion or change of state use sein.
口语过去时由助动词 haben 或 sein 加上第二分词构成。多数动词用 haben;表示位置移动或状态变化的动词用 sein。
haben/sein (position 2) + … + Partizip II (end)
Ich habe ein Buch gelesen. (I read a book. / 我读了一本书。)
Er ist nach Berlin gefahren. (He went to Berlin. / 他去了柏林。)
Past participle formula: ge + stem + t (weak) / ge + stem with vowel change + en (strong). 第二分词公式:弱变化 ge+词干+t,强变化 ge+词干变音+en。
6. Adjective Endings after der/die/das | 定冠词后形容词词尾
When an adjective comes before a noun after a definite article, the endings follow a clear pattern according to case and gender.
当形容词在定冠词后修饰名词时,词尾根据格和性别遵循清晰的模式。
| Case | Masculine | Neuter | Feminine | Plural |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nominative | -e | -e | -e | -en |
| Accusative | -en | -e | -e | -en |
| Dative | -en | -en | -en | -en |
| Genitive | -en | -en | -en | -en |
Der große Hund spielt. Den großen Hund sehe ich. Mit dem großen Hund. (The big dog is playing. I see the big dog. With the big dog. / 大狗在玩。我看到那只大狗。和那只大狗在一起。)
7. Word Order in Main Clauses | 主句语序
The basic rule is that the conjugated verb must be the second element (idea) in a main clause. The first element can be the subject, an adverb, or another phrase.
基本规则是变位动词必须位于主句的第二位(元素)。首位可以是主语、副词或其他短语。
Element 1 + Verb (position 2) + Subject (if not first) + …
Ich gehe heute ins Kino. (I go to the cinema today.)
Heute gehe ich ins Kino. (Today I go to the cinema. / 今天我去看电影。)
8. Subordinating Conjunctions and Wortstellung | 从句连词与语序
Subordinating conjunctions (weil, dass, wenn, als, obwohl, etc.) push the conjugated verb to the very end of the clause.
从句连词(weil 因为, dass 引导宾语从句, wenn 当/如果, als 当, obwohl 虽然等)将变位动词推到从句的最后位置。
Conjunction + Subject + … + Verb (end)
Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil ich krank bin. (I stay home because I am sick. / 我待在家里,因为我病了。)
Er sagt, dass er keine Zeit hat. (He says that he has no time. / 他说他没有时间。)
9. Imperative Forms | 命令式
The imperative is used for giving commands or requests. Forms differ for du, ihr, Sie.
命令式用于发出指令或请求。形式因 du, ihr, Sie 而不同。
(du) stem + e/Ø! (ihr) stem + t! (Sie) stem + en + Sie!
Komm! / Komm(e)! (Come! / 你来!)
Kommt! (Come! / 你们来!)
Kommen Sie! (Come! / 您/您们来!)
10. Comparative and Superlative | 比较级与最高级
To compare adjectives, add -er for the comparative and -(e)st for the superlative. Umlaut is often added to common one-syllable adjectives.
比较时,形容词加 -er 构成比较级,加 -(e)st 构成最高级。常见单音节形容词常加变音符号。
schnell – schneller – am schnellsten
klein – kleiner – am kleinsten (small – smaller – smallest / 小 – 更小 – 最小)
groß – größer – am größten (big – bigger – biggest / 大 – 更大 – 最大)
gut – besser – am besten (irregular / 不规则)
11. Personal Pronouns in All Cases | 人称代词各格
Personal pronouns change form depending on case. Knowing them is essential for object placement and prepositional usage.
人称代词根据格发生变化。掌握它们对宾语位置和与介词连用至关重要。
| Nominative | Accusative | Dative |
|---|---|---|
| ich | mich | mir |
| du | dich | dir |
| er / sie / es | ihn / sie / es | ihm / ihr / ihm |
| wir | uns | uns |
| ihr | euch | euch |
| sie / Sie | sie / Sie | ihnen / Ihnen |
Ich gebe ihm das Buch. (I give him the book. / 我给他这本书。)
12. Prepositions and Their Cases | 介词与支配格
Prepositions dictate which case follows. Some always take dative, some always accusative, and two-way prepositions change case depending on motion/location.
(motion)
