1. The Present Tense Conjugation Formula | 现在时动词变位公式
Formula: Subject pronoun + [stem] + ending. The stem is the infinitive minus -en (or -n). The ending depends on the person, with some irregular verbs changing the stem vowel in the du and er/sie/es forms.
公式:主语代词 + [词干] + 词尾。词干为不定式去掉 -en(或 -n)。词尾取决于人称,部分不规则动词在 du 和 er/sie/es 形式中会改变词干元音。
| Subject | Pronoun | Regular ending (spielen) | Irregular e→i (sprechen) | Stem change a→ä (fahren) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st sg | ich | spiele | spreche | fahre |
| 2nd sg (inf.) | du | spielst | sprichst | fährst |
| 3rd sg | er/sie/es | spielt | spricht | fährt |
| 1st pl | wir | spielen | sprechen | fahren |
| 2nd pl (inf.) | ihr | spielt | sprecht | fahrt |
| 3rd pl / formal | sie/Sie | spielen | sprechen | fahren |
The formula stem + ending works for most verbs, but always check for stem-vowel changes in strong verbs. The endings -st and -t are dropped if the stem already ends in a sibilant (e.g., du tanzt not tanzst).
公式 词干 + 词尾 适用于大多数动词,但务必检查强变化动词中的词干元音变化。如果词干已经以咝音结尾(如 du tanzt 而非 tanzst),则省略词尾中的 -st 和 -t。
2. The Case System Formula: Nominative, Accusative, Dative, Genitive | 格体系公式:主格、宾格、与格、属格
Formula: Article/Pronoun form = (Definite/Indefinite) + gender + case marker. In German, the article changes to show the case of the noun. The definite articles (the) follow the pattern: masculine der, den, dem, des; feminine die, die, der, der; neuter das, das, dem, des; plural die, die, den, der.
公式:冠词/代词形式 = (定冠词/不定冠词) + 性别 + 格标记。在德语中,冠词会根据名词的格发生变化。定冠词的变化规律为:阳性 der, den, dem, des;阴性 die, die, der, der;中性 das, das, dem, des;复数 die, die, den, der。
| Case | Masc. | Fem. | Neut. | Plural |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nominative | der | die | das | die |
| Accusative | den | die | das | die |
| Dative | dem | der | dem | den (+n on noun) |
| Genitive | des (+s/es) | der | des (+s/es) | der |
Many prepositions are ‘case triggers’: für, um, durch, gegen, ohne always take the accusative. mit, nach, bei, seit, von, zu, aus, gegenüber always take the dative. Wegen usually takes the genitive. Use these as instant formulas: für + Akkusativ, mit + Dativ.
许多介词是“格的触发器”:für, um, durch, gegen, ohne 总是要求宾格。mit, nach, bei, seit, von, zu, aus, gegenüber 总是要求与格。Wegen 通常要求属格。把它们用作即时公式:für + 宾格,mit + 与格。
3. Adjective Endings Formula | 形容词词尾公式
Formula: Adjective ending = (determiner ending & noun role). If the article/determiner already shows the case and gender clearly, the adjective takes the weak ending -e or -en. If there is no article, the adjective takes the strong ending, showing the case itself (like -er, -es, -e, -en).
公式:形容词词尾 = (限定词词尾 & 名词角色)。如果冠词/限定词已经清楚地表明了格和性别,形容词则采用弱变化词尾 -e 或 -en。如果没有冠词,形容词则采用强变化词尾,自己来体现格(如 -er, -es, -e, -en)。
Weak declension (after definite article): For nominative singular all genders -e; accusative feminine and neuter -e, others -en; dative all -en; genitive all -en. After der/die/das the adjective is ‘lazy’.
弱变化(定冠词后):主格单数所有性别均为 -e;宾格阴性和中性为 -e,其余用 -en;与格全部用 -en;属格全部用 -en。在 der/die/das 之后,形容词比较“偷懒”。
Strong declension (no article): The adjective carries the same ending as the definite article would, except genitive masculine/neuter becomes -en (e.g., guter Wein, frisches Brot).
强变化(无冠词):形容词带有的词尾与定冠词原本的词尾相同,但属格阳性和中性变为 -en(如 guter Wein, frisches Brot)。
After indefinite article (ein, kein, mein etc.), mixed declension: in nominative masculine -er, neuter -es, feminine -e; all else mostly -en.
不定冠词后(ein, kein, mein 等)混合变化:主格阳性 -er,中性 -es,阴性 -e;其余大多数用 -en。
4. Word Order Formula: Main Clauses & Subordinate Clauses | 语序公式:主句与从句
Formula for main clauses (Hauptsatz): The conjugated verb must be in the second logical position (V2). The first position can be the subject, a time expression, an object, or anything else.
Example: Morgen gehe ich ins Kino. (Tomorrow I go to the cinema.) – The verb gehe stays second.
主句公式: 变位动词必须位于第二个逻辑位置 (V2)。第一位可以是主语、时间状语、宾语等。
例如:Morgen gehe ich ins Kino.——动词 gehe 保持在第二位。
Formula for subordinate clauses (Nebensatz): Subordinating conjunction + Subject + … + finite verb (last position). Conjunctions like dass, weil, ob, wenn, als, obwohl send the verb to the end.
Example: Ich glaube, dass er morgen kommt. (I think that he is coming tomorrow.)
从句公式: 从属连词 + 主语 + … + 限定动词(末位)。像 dass, weil, ob, wenn, als, obwohl 这样的连词会把动词推到句末。
例如:Ich glaube, dass er morgen kommt.
For modal verbs: Ich muss das Buch lesen. The modal verb muss is in V2, the infinitive lesen at the end. In a subordinate clause: …, dass ich das Buch lesen muss. The modal verb jumps to the very end after the infinitive.
情态动词的语序:Ich muss das Buch lesen. 情态动词 muss 在第二位,不定式 lesen 在句末。在从句中:…, dass ich das Buch lesen muss. 情态动词跳到最后的最后。
5. The Perfekt Tense Formula | 完成时公式
Formula: Perfekt = auxiliary (haben/sein) + Partizip II. Most verbs use haben. Verbs of movement or change of state (e.g., gehen, fahren, aufwachen) use sein. The past participle is formed: ge- + stem + -t (regular) or -en (irregular). Separable verbs insert -ge- between prefix and stem: aufmachen → aufgemacht. Inseparable verbs do not add ge-: besuchen → besucht.
公式: 完成时 = 助动词 (haben/sein) + 第二分词。大部分动词用 haben。表示位移或状态变化的动词(如 gehen, fahren, aufwachen)用 sein。过去分词的构成:ge- + 词干 + -t(规则)或 -en(不规则)。可分动词将 -ge- 插入前缀和词干之间:aufmachen → aufgemacht。不可分动词不加 ge-:besuchen → besucht。
- Ich habe meine Hausaufgaben gemacht. (I have done my homework.)
- Ich habe meine Hausaufgaben gemacht. (我做了家庭作业。)
- Er ist nach Berlin gefahren. (He travelled to Berlin.)
- Er ist nach Berlin gefahren. (他去了柏林。)
The participle stays at the end of the main clause, while the auxiliary is in V2. In subordinate clauses the auxiliary moves to the end after the participle, similar to modal verb patterns.
分词在主句中位于句末,助动词在第二位。在从句中,助动词移到分词后的末位,与情态动词的模式类似。
6. Modal Verbs Formula | 情态动词公式
Formula: Modal verb (conjugated) + … + infinitive (at the end). The six modal verbs are können, müssen, dürfen, sollen, wollen, mögen (often used as möchten). In the present tense, the modal verb carries the V2 position; the main verb in infinitive goes to the end.
情态动词的变位有其自身模式:大多数在单数中有元音变化(ich kann, du kannst, er kann; ich muss, du musst; ich darf, du darfst; ich will, du willst; ich soll 不变;ich mag, du magst)。复数形式规则:wir können, ihr könnt, sie können。
In the perfect tense, modal verbs rarely appear; the double infinitive construction is used: Ich habe das machen müssen (I had to do it). The formula becomes: haben + … + infinitive + modal infinitive.
在完成时中,情态动词很少单独出现;多使用双不定式结构:Ich habe das machen müssen。公式变为:haben + … +不定式 + 情态动词不定式。
7. Future Tense Formula | 将来时公式
Formula: Futur I = werden (conjugated) + … + infinitive (at the end). The verb werden takes the V2 position and the infinitive moves to the end, exactly like a modal verb. The conjugation of werden is: ich werde, du wirst, er/sie/es wird, wir werden, ihr werdet, sie/Sie werden.
公式: 将来时 I = werden(变位)+ … + 不定式(句末)。动词 werden 占据 V2 位,而不定式移至句末,与情态动词完全一样。werden 的变位为:ich werde, du wirst, er/sie/es wird, wir werden, ihr werdet, sie/Sie werden。
Example: Nächstes Jahr werde ich Deutsch studieren. (Next year I will study German.) The time expression can occupy Vorfeld, so the structure is very clear. Often Germans simply use the present tense with a time indicator to express future, but the formula is essential for formal writing.
例子:Nächstes Jahr werde ich Deutsch studieren. 时间状语可放在句首,结构非常清晰。虽然德国人常用现在时加时间状语表达将来,但该公式在正式写作中很重要。
8. The Impersonal Passive Formula | 无人称被动公式
Formula: Vorgangspassiv = werden + Partizip II. The agent (by whom) is introduced with von + dative. An impersonal passive has no real subject; it uses es as a placeholder or omits it. The formula for impersonal expressions: Es + wird + participle, or dropping es when another element is in first position.
公式: 过程被动式 = werden + 第二分词。动作的发出者用 von + 与格引出。无人称被动没有真正的主语;它使用 es 作为占位主语,也可省略它。无人称表达公式:Es + wird + 分词,或者当有其它成分占据首位时省略 es。
- Es wird getanzt. (There is dancing.)
- Es wird getanzt. (有人跳舞。)
- Hier wird nicht geraucht. (No smoking here.)
- Hier wird nicht geraucht. (这里禁止吸烟。)
The Zustandspassiv (state passive) uses sein + Partizip II, but the WJEC focus is on the Vorgangspassiv. Compare: Die Tür wird geöffnet. (The door is being opened) vs. Die Tür ist geöffnet. (The door is open).
状态被动使用 sein + 第二分词,但 WJEC 重点关注过程被动。比较:Die Tür wird geöffnet.(门正在被打开)对比 Die Tür ist geöffnet.(门是开着的)。
9. Relative Pronouns Formula | 关系代词公式
Formula: Relative pronoun = definite article der/die/das + case determined by role in relative clause. The relative pronoun agrees in gender and number with the antecedent, but its case matches its own clause function. The relative clause is a subordinate clause, so the conjugated verb goes to the end.
公式: 关系代词 = 定冠词 der/die/das + 取决于在从句中功能的格。关系代词的性和数与先行词一致,但其格由自身在从句中的功能决定。关系从句是从
