CIE A-Level 德语考试(9716)要求学生在听、说、读、写方面展现出高级语言能力。要获得高分,不仅需要扎实的语言功底,还须清楚了解阅卷标准及能够最大化得分的答题策略。本复习指南逐一解析每份试卷的答题技巧,并阐释评分标准,帮助你自信应考。

1. Overview of CIE A-Level German Exams | 考试概览

The CIE A-Level German qualification consists of three externally assessed components: Paper 1 Reading and Writing (2 hours, 70 marks), Paper 2 Writing (2 hours, 60 marks), and Paper 3 Speaking (12-15 minutes, 50 marks). Each paper tests specific skills; therefore, your revision should be targeted. Paper 1 assesses reading comprehension, summary writing and translation; Paper 2 demands discursive and analytical essays; Paper 3 evaluates presentational and interactive spoken language.

CIE A-Level 德语资格由三份外部评估组成:卷一阅读与写作(2小时,70分),卷二写作(2小时,60分),卷三口试(12-15分钟,50分)。每卷考查不同技能,因此复习必须有针对性。卷一评估阅读理解、摘要写作和翻译;卷二要求写论述性和分析性作文;卷三评估演讲能力和互动口语。

Examiners mark your work against four main assessment objectives (AOs): AO1 – understand and respond to written language; AO2 – understand and respond to spoken language (applies to speaking); AO3 – manipulate the language accurately to convey meaning; AO4 – show knowledge and understanding of the target language culture (relevant for essays and speaking topics). Your performance in each paper is measured against these AOs.

考官依据四个主要评估目标(AO)评分:AO1 – 理解并回应书面语言;AO2 – 理解并回应口头语言(适用于口语);AO3 – 准确运用语言传达意思;AO4 – 展示对目标语文化的了解与理解(适用于写作和口语话题)。每卷的表现均按这些目标衡量。

2. Paper 1 Reading Comprehension: How to Tackle Texts | 阅读部分:如何应对文本

Before reading the questions, skim the text quickly to get a general idea of the topic and structure. Pay attention to headings, subheadings, and any introductory sentences. This helps you predict where to find specific information when answering later questions.

阅读问题之前,先快速浏览文章,了解主题与结构。留意标题、小标题和引言句,这能帮助你在回答问题时预测信息的查找位置。

When tackling multiple-choice or short-answer questions, underline keywords in the question and scan the text for synonyms or related expressions. Avoid simply matching words; rephrase the idea in your own words to demonstrate understanding and avoid losing marks for lifting.

处理选择题或简答题时,划出问题中的关键词,然后扫读文章寻找同义词或相关表达。切勿仅做词语匹配,要尝试用自己的话转述意思,以展示理解并避免因直接照抄而失分。

For gap-fill or true/false tasks, pay close attention to negative particles (nicht, kein) and qualifying adverbs (leider, kaum, völlig). Misreading a negation can completely reverse the meaning and cost you marks. Always read the whole sentence before deciding.

在填空或判断题中,务必留意否定词(nicht, kein)以及限定副词(leider, kaum, völlig)。误读否定词可能彻底颠倒文意,导致失分。做出判断前务必将整个句子读完。

Always provide evidence for your answers where the question asks ‘justify with a phrase from the text’. Quote exactly and ensure the quoted part directly supports your statement. Avoid paraphrasing when a direct quote is required.

每当题目要求“从文中引用短语进行佐证”时,务必提供证据。引用必须精确,并确保所选语段直接支持你的陈述。在要求直接引用时不要进行转述。

3. Paper 1 Summary Writing: Condensing Effectively | 摘要写作:有效提炼

The summary task requires you to condense two texts of around 150 words each into a coherent German paragraph of about 80–90 words. You must use your own wording as far as possible and avoid lifting phrases from the original. Marks are awarded for content accuracy and linguistic quality.

摘要写作要求将两篇各约150词的文章浓缩为一段约80–90词连贯的德语段落。必须尽可能用自己的话表达,避免直接从原文抄录短语。得分依据内容准确性和语言质量。

First, underline the key points in each source text. Then, identify links or contrasts between them. Organise your summary so that it flows naturally, using connectors such as außerdem, jedoch, daraus lässt sich schließen, dass… This logical organisation is part of the assessment.

首先,划出每篇原文的关键点。接着,找出它们之间的关联或对比。梳理摘要结构,使其行文自然,并使用außerdem、jedoch、daraus lässt sich schließen, dass…等连接词。这种逻辑组织属于评分的一部分。

Do not add your own opinion or any extra information; stick strictly to what the texts present. A concise summary that captures all essential points in grammatically sound German will score well. Practise with timed exercises to improve your speed.

不要添加个人观点或额外信息,严格忠于原文内容。一段涵盖所有要点、语法正确的简洁摘要将获得高分。通过限时练习提高写作速度。

4. Paper 1 Translation English → German: Accuracy and Idiom | 翻译(英译德):准确与惯用表达

The translation exercise (English into German) tests your ability to convey meaning accurately while using correct grammar, word order, and idiomatic expressions. Read the whole passage first to understand its tone and register. A rough literal translation will rarely read naturally in German.

翻译部分(英译德)考查准确传达意思的能力,同时要求语法、语序和惯用表达正确。先通读整段英文,把握其语气和语域。生硬的字面翻译在德语中往往读起来不自然。

Break the text into manageable chunks. For each sentence, think about the underlying meaning rather than translating word for word. Be especially careful with phrasal verbs (e.g., ‘to look forward to’ → sich freuen auf) and English idioms that have no direct equivalent.

将文本拆分成若干可处理的语块。对每个句子,思考其深层含义,而不是逐词硬译。尤其注意短语动词(如’to look forward to’ 对应 sich freuen auf)和没有直接对应说法的英语习语。

Check for typical German syntax patterns: the verb in second position in main clauses, the past participle or infinitive at the end, and correct case after prepositions. A common pitfall is placing the verb incorrectly after subordinating conjunctions (weil, dass, obwohl).

检查典型的德语句法模式:主句动词第二位,过去分词或不定式位于句末,介词后接正确格位。一个常见陷阱是在从属连词(weil, dass, obwohl)后误置动词位置。

Leave two minutes to proofread. Look for noun capitalisation, adjective endings, and the correct form of the relative pronoun. Small errors accumulate and can seriously affect your accuracy mark. Reading your translation aloud helps spot unnatural phrasing.

留出两分钟进行校对。检查名词大写、形容词词尾以及关系代词
