1. Noun Gender & Article Formula | 名词性别与冠词公式

Every German noun carries a gender: der (masculine), die (feminine), das (neuter). While there are pattern hints, the best approach is to learn the definite article as part of the noun. Formula: Noun = Article + Noun stem. For plural nouns, the definite article is always die (nominative).

每个德语名词都有性:der(阳性)、die(阴性)、das(中性)。虽然有规律提示,但最佳方法是把定冠词当作名词的一部分一起记忆。公式:名词 = 冠词 + 名词词干。复数名词的定冠词(主格)始终是 die

Indefinite article formula: ein (masculine/neuter) or eine (feminine). Negation with kein follows the same endings as ein.

不定冠词公式:ein(阳/中)或 eine(阴)。否定词 kein 的词尾变化与 ein 相同。

Gender Definite Indefinite
Masculine der Mann ein Mann
Feminine die Frau eine Frau
Neuter das Kind ein Kind
Plural die Leute – Leute (no indefinite article)

2. Present Tense Conjugation Formula | 现在时变位公式

Regular verbs follow a fixed stem + ending formula. Remove -en from the infinitive to form the stem, then add personal endings.

规则动词遵循固定的词干+词尾公式。去掉不定式的 -en 得到词干,然后加上人称词尾。

Stem + e, st, t, en, t, en

Person Ending spielen (to play)
ich -e ich spiele
du -st du spielst
er/sie/es -t er spielt
wir -en wir spielen
ihr -t ihr spielt
sie/Sie -en sie spielen

Irregular stem-changing verbs follow a vowel change formula for du and er/sie/es: a → ä (e.g. fahren → du fährst), e → i (e.g. sprechen → du sprichst), e → ie (e.g. sehen → du siehst).

不规则变元音动词在 duer/sie/es 人称上遵循元音变化公式:a → ä(如 fahren → du fährst),e → i(如 sprechen → du sprichst),e → ie(如 sehen → du siehst)。

3. Modal Verb Position Formula | 情态动词位置公式

Modal verbs (können, müssen, wollen, dürfen, sollen, mögen) follow a two-verb formula in main clauses.

情态动词(können, müssen, wollen, dürfen, sollen, mögen)在主句中遵循双动词公式。

Subject + Modal verb (conjugated) + … + Infinitive (at end)

Example: Ich kann sehr gut schwimmen. The conjugated modal kicks the main verb infinitive to the end.

例句:Ich kann sehr gut schwimmen. 变位的情态动词将主要动词的不定式推到句末。

Modal verb conjugation uses irregular patterns, but note that the ich and er/sie/es forms are identical (no ending for ich).

情态动词变位不规则,但注意 ich 和 er/sie/es 形式相同(ich 不加词尾)。

Person können müssen
ich kann muss
du kannst musst
er/sie/es kann muss
wir können müssen
ihr könnt müsst
sie/Sie können müssen

4. Perfect Tense Formula (Spoken Past) | 完成时公式(口语过去时)

The perfect tense is the main past tense in spoken German. Its formula relies on an auxiliary verb (haben or sein) and a past participle.

完成时是德语口语中使用的主要过去时。其公式依靠助动词(haben 或 sein)和过去分词。

Auxiliary (present) + … + Past Participle (end)

Use sein for verbs expressing motion or change of state (gehen, fahren, aufstehen, sterben). All others typically use haben.

表示移动或状态变化的动词(gehen, fahren, aufstehen, sterben)用 sein。其余通常用 haben

Past participle formula for regular (weak) verbs: ge + stem + t (e.g. spielen → gespielt). For irregular (strong) verbs, the participle often ends in -en with a stem vowel change: ge + changed stem + en (e.g. singen → gesungen). Inseparable prefix verbs do not add ge- (e.g. besuchen → besucht). Separable prefix verbs insert -ge- between the prefix and stem (e.g. aufstehen → aufgestanden).

规则(弱)动词过去分词公式:ge + 词干 + t(如 spielen → gespielt)。不规则(强)动词分词常以 -en 结尾且词干元音变化:ge + 变化词干 + en(如 singen → gesungen)。不可分前缀动词不加 ge-(如 besuchen → besucht)。可分前缀动词将 -ge- 插入前缀与词干之间(如 aufstehen → aufgestanden)。

5. Simple Past (Imperfect) Tense Formula | 简单过去时公式

Used primarily in written narratives, the imperfect tense follows a stem + ending pattern for regular verbs and a vowel change for irregular ones.

简单过去时主要用于书面叙述,规则动词遵循词干+词尾模式,不规则动词发生元音变化。

Regular weak verb formula: stem + te, test, te, ten, tet, ten. Example: spielen → spielte.

规则弱动词公式:词干 + te, test, te, ten, tet, ten。例:spielen → spielte

Strong verb endings: (irregular stem) + -, -st, -, -en, -t, -en (no ending for ich and er/sie/es). Example: gehen → ging (ich ging, du gingst).

强动词词尾:(不规则词干)+ -, -st, -, -en, -t, -en(ich 和 er/sie/es 不加词尾)。例:gehen → ging(ich ging, du gingst)。

The auxiliary ‘sein’ and ‘haben’ are irregular: ich war, du warst… / ich hatte, du hattest….

助动词 ‘sein’ 和 ‘haben’ 不规则:ich war, du warst… / ich hatte, du hattest…

6. Future Tense & Conditional Formula | 将来时与条件式公式

Future tense formula: werden (present) + … + Infinitive (end). This mirrors the modal verb sentence structure.

将来时公式:werden(现在时)+ … + 不定式(句末)。这与情态动词的句子结构相同。

Example: Ich werde morgen ins Kino gehen. The conditional mood (subjunctive II) often uses würden + infinitive for polite or hypothetical statements.

例句:Ich werde morgen ins Kino gehen. 条件式(虚拟二式)常用 würden + 不定式 表达礼貌或假设。

würden (subjunctive) + … + Infinitive

Example: Ich würde gern ein Stück Kuchen essen. (I would like to eat a piece of cake.)

例句:Ich würde gern ein Stück Kuchen essen.(我想吃一块蛋糕。)

7. Adjective Ending Formula | 形容词词尾公式

Adjective endings depend on three factors: gender, case, and the preceding article type (definite, indefinite, or no article). Think of the ending as an agreement marker.

形容词词尾取决于三个因素:性、格和前面的冠词类型(定冠词、不定冠词或无冠词)。可将词尾视为一致标记。

After a definite article (der, die, das), adjectives take weak endings: -e for most nominative singular, -en for all plurals, dative, genitive, and masculine accusative.

定冠词(der, die, das)后,形容词使用弱变化词尾:多数主格单数为 -e,所有复数、与格、属格和阳性宾格为 -en

Case Masculine Feminine Neuter Plural
Nominative der gute Mann die gute Frau das gute Kind die guten Leute
Accusative den guten Mann die gute Frau das gute Kind die guten Leute
Dative dem guten Mann der guten Frau dem guten Kind den guten Leuten

After an indefinite article (ein, eine) or kein or possessive adjectives, the adjective takes a mixed ending: it signals the gender/case where the article does not. Key pattern: masculine nominative -er, neuter nominative/accusative -es, feminine nominative/accusative -e.

不定冠词(ein, eine)、kein 或物主形容词后,形容词使用混合变化词尾:在冠词不能体现性/格的位置,形容词要补上标记。关键模式:阳性主格 -er,中性主格/宾格 -es,阴性主格/宾格 -e

Without any article (strong declension), the adjective takes the ending that the definite article would have had: guter Wein, gutes Bier, gute Milch.

无冠词时(强变化),形容词使用定冠词应有的词尾:guter Wein, gutes Bier, gute Milch

8. Case & Preposition Control Formula | 格与介词支配公式

German prepositions govern specific cases. Time to learn them as formulaic triggers.

德语介词支配特定的格。要把它们当作公式触发器来记忆。

Prepositions always taking accusative: durch, für, gegen, ohne, um, bis, entlang (when postposition).

始终支配 宾格 的介词:durch, für, gegen, ohne, um, bis, entlang(后置时)。

Prepositions always taking dative: aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu, gegenüber.

始终支配 与格 的介词:aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu, gegenüber

Two-way prepositions (accusative for movement/direction, dative for location/static): an, auf, hinter, in, neben, über, unter, vor, zwischen. Ask wohin? (where to) → accusative; wo? (where) → dative.

动静介词(表移动/方向用宾格,表位置/静态用与格):an, auf, hinter, in, neben, über, unter, vor, zwischen。问 wohin?(往哪)→ 宾格;wo?(在哪)→ 与格。

Example: Ich gehe in die Stadt. (accusative) vs. Ich bin in der Stadt. (dative).

例句:Ich gehe in die Stadt.(宾格)对比 Ich bin in der Stadt.(与格)。

9. Sentence Structure Formula: Main & Subordinate Clauses | 句子结构公式:主句与从句

Main clause word order formula: the conjugated verb must be the second element (not necessarily the second word).

主句语序公式:变位动词必须是第二个成分(不一定是第二个单词)。

Element 1 + Verb + Subject + …

If something other than the subject starts the sentence, the subject follows the verb (inversion). Example: Heute gehe ich ins Kino. (Today I am going to the cinema.)

如果句子不以主语开头,主语就要跟在动词之后(倒装)。例句:Heute gehe ich ins Kino.

Subordinate clause formula: the conjugated verb moves to the end of the clause. Subordinating conjunctions include weil, dass, wenn, obwohl, damit, als.

从句公式:变位动词移到从句句末。从属连词包括 weil, dass, wenn, obwohl, damit, als

Conjunction + Subject + … + Verb (end)

Example: Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil ich krank bin. Note the comma separating clauses and ‘bin’ at the end.

例句:Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil ich krank bin. 注意逗号分隔主从句,且 ‘bin’ 在句末。

10. Pronoun & Possessive Article Formula | 代词与物主冠词公式

Personal pronouns change by case. The basic formula for possessive articles (my, your, his, etc.) is: possessive stem + case/gender ending, but in nominative singular they resemble the indefinite article.

人称代词随格而变化。物主冠词(我的、你的、他的等)的基本公式是:物主词干 + 格/性词尾,但在主格单数时与不定冠词相似。

Person Nominative Accusative Dative
I ich mich mir
you (sg. informal) du dich dir
he er ihn ihm
she sie sie ihr
it es es ihm
we wir uns uns
you (pl. informal) ihr euch euch
they / you (formal) sie / Sie sie / Sie ihnen / Ihnen

Possessive stems: mein- (my), dein- (your, informal), sein- (his/its), ihr- (her), unser- (our), euer- (your, plural), ihr- (their), Ihr- (your, formal). Add endings like kein: nominative masculine – (no ending), feminine -e, neuter -, plural -e. Accusative masculine -en, etc., mirroring the indefinite article chart.

物主词干:mein-, dein-, sein-, ihr-, unser-, euer-, ihr-, Ihr-。词尾添加方式与 kein 相同:主格阳性不加词尾,阴性加 -e,中性不加词尾,复数加 -e。宾格阳性 -en 等,与不定冠词变化表一致。

11. Comparative & Superlative Formula | 比较级与最高级公式

Adjectives and adverbs form comparatives by adding -er and superlatives with am …-sten (adverbial) or der/die/das …-ste (attributive).

形容词和副词比较级加 -er,最高级用 am …-sten(作状语)或 der/die/das …-ste(作定语)。

Formula: Adjective + er (with possible umlaut for common one-syllable adjectives). Irregulars: gut → besser → am besten, gern → lieber → am liebsten, viel → mehr → am meisten.

公式:形容词 + er(常见单音节形容词可能加变音)。不规则:gut → besser → am besten,gern → lieber → am liebsten,viel → mehr → am meisten。

Example: schnell, schneller, am schnellsten (fast, faster, fastest). Das schnellste Auto (the fastest car).

例句:schnell, schneller, am schnellstenDas schnellste Auto(最快的车)。

12. Imperative Formula | 命令式公式

The imperative mood depends on the person commanded: du, ihr, or Sie.

命令式取决于命令的对象:du,ihr 或 Sie。

For du: stem only, without -st, but sometimes add -e (optional). Stem-changing strong verbs keep the vowel change for du (e.g. sprechen → Sprich!).

du 的命令式:只用词干,去掉 -st,有时可加 -e(可选)。词干变元音的强动词保留 du 的变音(如 sprechen → Sprich!)。

For ihr: simply use the conjugated ihr form (ihr spielt → Spielt!).

ihr 的命令式:直接用 ihr 的变位形式(ihr spielt → Spielt!)。

For Sie: infinitive + Sie (with Sie after the verb). Example
