1. Present Tense Verb Conjugation | 动词现在时变位公式

Weak verbs (regular verbs) follow a straightforward pattern: remove the -en or -n from the infinitive to find the stem, then add the following endings according to the subject pronoun.

弱变化动词(规则动词)遵循直接的模式:从不定式中去掉 -en-n 得到词干,然后根据主语人称添加下列词尾。

Pronoun Ending Example: spielen (to play)
ich -e spiele
du -st spielst
er/sie/es -t spielt
wir -en spielen
ihr -t spielt
sie/Sie -en spielen

Formula: stem + ending. If the stem ends in -d, -t, or a consonant cluster like -chn, -ffn, an extra -e- is inserted before the -st and -t endings (e.g. du arbeitest, er arbeitet). Stem‑vowel change in strong verbs must be memorised (e.g. fahren → du fährst, er fährt).

公式:词干 + 词尾。如果词干以 -d-t 或以 -chn-ffn 等辅音组合结尾,则在 -st-t 词尾前加一个 -e-(如 du arbeitest、er arbeitet)。强变化动词的词干元音变化需单独记忆(如 fahren → du fährst, er fährt)。

2. Perfect Tense Formula | 完成时公式

The perfect tense is formed with an auxiliary verb (haben or sein) in the present tense and the past participle of the main verb. The past participle of weak verbs uses ge- + stem + -t.

完成时由现在时形式的助动词(habensein)和主要动词的过去分词构成。弱变化动词的过去分词是 ge- + 词干 + -t

Formula: haben/sein (conjugated) + (object) + past participle (at end of clause).

公式: haben/sein(变位)+(宾语)+ 过去分词(位于句末)。

Use sein when the verb indicates movement (e.g. gehen, fahren) or change of state (e.g. aufwachen, sterben). Past participle for strong verbs often ends in -en and may have a stem vowel change (e.g. schreiben → geschrieben, gehen → gegangen). Verbs with inseparable prefixes (be‑, emp‑, ent‑, er‑, ge‑, miss‑, ver‑, zer‑) do not add ge‑ (e.g. besuchen → besucht). Verbs ending in -ieren also omit ge‑ (e.g. studieren → studiert).

当动词表示移动(如 gehen、fahren)或状态变化(如 aufwachen、sterben)时要用 sein。强变化动词的过去分词常以 -en 结尾,且可能发生词干元音变化(如 schreiben → geschrieben、gehen → gegangen)。带不可分前缀(be‑、emp‑、ent‑、er‑、ge‑、miss‑、ver‑、zer‑)的动词不加 ge‑(如 besuchen → besucht)。以 -ieren 结尾的动词也不加 ge‑(如 studieren → studiert)。

3. Modal Verb Framework | 情态动词框架定理

Modal verbs (dürfen, können, mögen, müssen, sollen, wollen) modify the meaning of a main verb and follow a specific sentence pattern. The modal is conjugated in the second position, while the main verb stands as an infinitive at the end of the clause.

情态动词(dürfen、können、mögen、müssen、sollen、wollen)修饰主要动词的意义,并遵循特定的句子结构。情态动词在句中第二位变位,而主要动词以不定式形式位于句末。

Formula: Subject + modal verb (conjugated) + … + main verb (infinitive).

公式:主语 + 情态动词(变位)+ … + 主要动词(不定式)。

Modal verbs have irregular present tense singular forms with no ending for ich and er/sie/es, and many show a vowel change (e.g. können → kann, mögen → mag, dürfen → darf). In the perfect tense, modals use a double infinitive: haben + infinitive + modal infinitive (e.g. Ich habe nicht kommen können).

情态动词在现在时单数形式中没有词尾(icher/sie/es),且许多情态动词出现元音变化(如 können → kann、mögen → mag、dürfen → darf)。在完成时中,情态动词使用双不定式结构:haben + 不定式 + 情态动词不定式(如 Ich habe nicht kommen können)。

4. Adjective Endings Formula | 形容词词尾定理

Adjective endings depend on three factors: whether the article is definite, indefinite, or absent; the gender of the noun; and the case. The endings carry the case information when the article is not strong enough to do so.

Rule: After der/die/das the adjective takes weak endings (-e or -en). After ein/eine/kein/mein the adjective is mixed (shows gender in nominative, otherwise mostly -en). With no article the adjective takes the strong endings that mirror the definite article (except genitive masculine and neuter). Remember plural forms: definite article plural always leads to -en (die guten Männer), no‑article strong plural ends in -e (gute Männer).

规则:der/die/das 后,形容词使用弱变化词尾(-e 或 -en)。在 ein/eine/kein/mein 后为混合变化(第一格显示性,其他格大多是 -en)。无冠词时,形容词使用强变化词尾,与定冠词词尾相似(阳性中性第二格除外)。记住复数形式:定冠词复数总是带 -en(die guten Männer);无冠词强变化复数以 -e 结尾(gute Männer)。

5. Case System Declension Formulas | 格变化公式

German has four cases: nominative, accusative, dative, and genitive. The definite and indefinite articles, personal pronouns, and possessive determiners all decline. Below is the master table for definite and indefinite articles.

德语有四个格:第一格(主格)、第四格(宾格)、第三格(与格)和第二格(属格)。定冠词、不定冠词、人称代词和物主限定词都要变格。以下是定冠词与不定冠词的主表。

Case Masculine Neuter Feminine Plural
Nominative der / ein das / ein die / eine die / keine
Accusative den / einen das / ein die / eine die / keine
Dative dem / einem dem / einem der / einer den / keinen
Genitive des / eines des / eines der / einer der / keiner

Memory trick: Accusative only changes the masculine form (der → den, ein → einen). Dative adds -m to masculine/neuter and -r to feminine, and plural adds -n to the noun (den Männern). Genitive adds -s to masculine/neuter nouns as well (des Mannes, des Kindes).

记忆窍门:宾格只有阳性形式发生变化(der → den、ein → einen)。与格给阳性和中性加 -m,阴性加 -r,复数则在名词后加 -n(den Männern)。属格阳性和中性名词后也加 -s(des Mannes、des Kindes)。

6. Word Order Theorems | 语序定理

German main clauses follow the V2 (verb‑second) rule: the conjugated verb is always the second element. The first element can be the subject, a time phrase, an adverb, or an object.

德语主句遵循 V2(动词第二位) 规则:变位动词始终是第二个成分。第一个成分可以是主语、时间短语、副词或宾语。

Formula: Element 1 (any) + conjugated verb + subject (if not already element 1) + time + manner + place + (infinitive/past participle).

公式:成分1(任意)+ 变位动词 + 主语(若成分1不是主语)+ 时间 + 方式 + 地点 +(不定式/过去分词)。

Subordinating conjunctions (weil, dass, obwohl, wenn, etc.) send the conjugated verb to the end of the clause.

Subclause formula: conjunction + subject + … + conjugated verb (at the absolute end).

从属连词(weil、dass、obwohl、wenn 等)将变位动词推至从句末尾。

从句公式:连词 + 主语 + … + 变位动词(绝对末尾)。

Inversion occurs in main clauses after an introductory adverbial phrase: Heute gehe ich ins Kino. After a coordinating conjunction (und, aber, oder, denn, sondern) the normal V2 order resumes without inversion.

当主句以状语短语开头时,会出现倒装:Heute gehe ich ins Kino。在并列连词(und、aber、oder、denn、sondern)之后,正常的 V2 语序恢复,不引起倒装。

7. Preposition Case Triggers | 介词格触发公式

Prepositions dictate the case of the noun phrase that follows them. They are divided into three groups: always accusative, always dative, and two‑way (accusative for movement, dative for location).

介词决定其后名词短语的格。介词分为三类:始终带宾格的、始终带给格的,以及双向介词(移动用宾格,静止位置用与格)。

Accusative only Dative only Two‑way (Akk/Dat)
durch, für, gegen, ohne, um, bis, entlang aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu, gegenüber an, auf, hinter, in, neben, über, unter, vor, zwischen

Two‑way rule: wo? (location) → dative; wohin? (direction/movement) → accusative. Example: Ich lege das Buch auf den Tisch (Akk) vs. Das Buch liegt auf dem Tisch (Dat).

双向规则:wo?(位置)→ 与格;wohin?(方向/移动)→ 宾格。示例:Ich lege das Buch auf den Tisch(宾格)对比 Das Buch liegt auf dem Tisch(与格)。

8. Future and Conditional Formulas | 将来时与条件式公式

The future tense is formed with werden + infinitive. The conditional/subjunctive (Konjunktiv II) of most verbs uses würden + infinitive, but the subjunctive forms of haben, sein and the modals are often used directly.

将来时由 werden + 不定式构成。大多数动词的条件式/虚拟式(第二虚拟式)使用 würden + 不定式,但 haben、sein 以及情态动词的虚拟形式往往直接使用。

Future: werden (conjugated) + … + infinitive. Ich werde morgen ankommen.
Conditional: würde(n) + infinitive. Ich würde gerne wissen … .

将来时:werden(变位)+ … + 不定式。Ich werde morgen ankommen。
条件式:würde(n) + 不定式。Ich würde gerne wissen … 。

For sein use wäre, for haben use hätte: Wenn ich reich wäre, hätte ich ein großes Haus. Modal verbs: könnte, müsste, sollte, dürfte, wollte, möchte.

对于 sein 要用 wäre,对于 haben 要用 hätte:Wenn ich reich wäre, hätte ich ein großes Haus。情态动词:könnte、müsste、sollte、dürfte、wollte、möchte。

9. Imperative Mood Formula | 祈使式公式

The imperative exists in three forms: du (informal singular), ihr (informal plural), and Sie (formal). The du‑imperative is formed by taking the stem of the verb and adding -e (often dropped in spoken German). The ihr‑imperative uses the ihr conjugation without a pronoun. The Sie‑imperative uses Sie after the verb.

祈使式有三种形式:du(非正式单数)、ihr(非正式复数)和 Sie(正式)。du‑祈使式由动词词干加 -e 构成(口语中常省略)。ihr‑祈使式使用 ihr 变位形式,去掉代词。Sie‑祈使式将 Sie 放在动词之后。

Pronoun type Formula Example (kommen)
du stem + (e) Komm(e)!
ihr conjugated stem + t (without ihr) Kommt!
Sie infinitive + Sie Kommen Sie!

Note vowel changes: for strong verbs with a → ä (e.g. fahren → du fährst), the imperative does not use the umlaut (Fahr!). But stem vowel change e → i or ie (e.g. lesen → du liest) is kept in the du‑imperative (Lies!).

注意元音变化:对于 a → ä 的强变化动词(如 fahren → du fährst),祈使式不使用变音(Fahr!)。但是 e → i 或 ie 的词干元音变化(如 lesen → du liest)在 du‑祈使式中保留(Lies!)。

10. Subjunctive in Reported Speech | 间接引语中的虚拟式定理

In formal writing, German prefers the subjunctive I (Konjunktiv I) to report what someone else says, keeping distance from the statement. It is formed from the infinitive stem with the endings -e, -est, -e, -en, -et, -en.

正式书面语中,德语偏爱使用第一虚拟式(Konjunktiv I)来转述他人所言,以保持与陈述内容的距离。它由不定式词干加上 -e、-est、-e、-en、-et、-en 构成。

Formula: stem + subjunctive endings. The only exception is sein, which uses sei, seist, sei, seien, seiet, seien. If Konjunktiv I is identical to the indicative, Konjunktiv II or würden substitutes.

公式:词干 + 虚拟式词尾。唯一的例外是 sein,使用 sei、seist、sei、seien、seiet、seien。如果第一虚拟式与直陈式相同,则用第二虚拟式或 würden 代替。

Example: Er sagte, er habe kein Geld. Sie behauptete, sie sei krank.

示例:Er sagte, er habe kein Geld。Sie behauptete, sie sei krank。

11. Relative Pronoun Formula | 关系代词公式

Relative pronouns introduce relative clauses and must agree in gender and number with the noun they refer to, while the case depends on their function in the relative clause. The relative pronouns are almost identical to the definite articles, except in the genitive (dessen, deren) and in the dative plural (denen).

关系代词引出关系从句,且在性和数上必须与所指名词一致,而格取决于它们在从句中的功能。关系代词几乎与定冠词相同,但属格(dessen、deren)和复数与格(denen)除外。

Case Masc. Neut. Fem. Plural
Nominative der das die die
Accusative den das die die
Dative dem dem der denen
Genitive dessen dessen deren deren

The verb in the relative clause is placed at the end. Example: Das ist der Mann, der mir geholfen hat.

关系从句中的动词位于句末。示例:Das ist der Mann, der mir geholfen hat。

12. Comparative and Superlative Formulas | 比较级与最高级公式

For most adjectives add -er for the comparative and -(e)st for the superlative. Most one‑syllable adjectives with stem vowel a, o, u often take an umlaut in the comparative and superlative forms.

大多数形容词的比较级加 -er,最高级加 -(e)st。单音节形容词词干元音为 a、o、u 的,在比较级和最高级中往往要变音。

Positive Comparative Superlative (am + sten)
schnell schneller am schnellsten
groß größer am größten
jung jünger am jüngsten
gut besser am besten
viel mehr am meisten

To compare use als: Er ist schneller als ich. For attributive adjectives, the comparative
