欢迎阅读 KS3 剑桥音乐复习指南。本文总结了 Key Stage 3 音乐需要掌握的核心知识点,涵盖音乐元素、记谱法、乐器、结构、风格以及创作技巧。

1. The Elements of Music: Rhythm and Beat | 音乐元素:节奏与节拍

The fundamental building blocks of music include rhythm, the pattern of sounds and silences of different lengths.

音乐的基本构成元素包括节奏,即不同长短的音与休止所形成的模式。

A steady beat is the consistent underlying pulse in music, like a heartbeat.

稳定的节拍是音乐中持续一致的潜在脉搏,如同心跳。

Time signatures indicate how many beats are in each bar and what note value represents one beat. For example, 4/4 means four crotchet beats per bar.

拍号表示每小节有几拍,以及以何种音符为一拍。例如 4/4 拍表示每小节有四拍,以四分音符为一拍。

Note values include semibreve (4 beats), minim (2 beats), crotchet (1 beat), quaver (½ beat), and semiquaver (¼ beat).

音符时值包括全音符(4拍)、二分音符(2拍)、四分音符(1拍)、八分音符(半拍)和十六分音符(四分之一拍)。

Rests indicate silence and have the same durations as notes: semibreve rest, minim rest, crotchet rest, quaver rest, etc.

休止符表示无声,与对应音符的时值相同:全休止符、二分休止符、四分休止符、八分休止符等。

Dotted notes increase a note’s duration by half of its original value. A dotted crotchet lasts 1½ beats.

附点音符将音符时值延长原有时值的一半。附点四分音符持续 1½ 拍。

Syncopation occurs when the rhythmic emphasis falls on a weak beat or between beats, creating an off‑beat feel.

切分音是指节奏重音落在弱拍或拍与拍之间,产生一种摇摆不定的感觉。

2. Pitch and Melody | 音高与旋律

Pitch refers to how high or low a sound is, determined by the frequency of vibrations.

音高指声音的高低,由振动频率决定。

A melody is a sequence of pitches arranged in a musically meaningful way, often the tune you remember.

旋律是按音乐上有意义的方式排列的一系列音高,通常就是你记得的曲调。

Scales are patterns of notes ascending or descending. Major scales sound bright; minor scales sound sad or serious.

音阶是音高上行或下行的模式。大调音阶听起来明亮;小调音阶听起来忧伤或严肃。

Intervals measure the distance between two pitches, such as a 2nd, 3rd, 5th, or octave.

音程衡量两个音高之间的距离,如二度、三度、五度或八度。

Melodic movement can be stepwise (conjunct), by leap (disjunct), or repetitive.

旋律行进可以是级进(连接进行)、跳进(间断进行)或重复。

A phrase is a short musical sentence, often ending with a cadence, similar to a clause in speech.

乐句是一个简短的乐思单位,常以终止式结尾,类似于说话中的分句。

C sharp (C♯) and D flat (D♭) are enharmonic equivalents – they sound the same but are written differently.

升 C(C♯)和降 D(D♭)是等音 – 它们听起来相同,但写法不同。

3. Harmony and Chords | 和声与和弦

Harmony is the sound created when two or more pitches are played simultaneously.

和声是两个或多个音同时奏响所产生的声音。

A chord is a group of notes played together, most commonly built by stacking intervals of a 3rd (triad).

和弦是一组同时演奏的音,最常见的构成方式是按三度关系叠加(三和弦)。

The primary triads in a key are built on the 1st (tonic), 4th (subdominant), and 5th (dominant) degrees of the scale. They underpin most simple harmony.

一个调中的正三和弦建立在音阶的第Ⅰ级(主音)、第Ⅳ级(下属音)和第Ⅴ级(属音)上。它们是大多数简单和声的基础。

Major chords sound happy, minor chords sound sad, and diminished chords sound tense.

大和弦听起来欢快,小和弦听起来忧伤,减和弦听起来紧张。

Cadences are chord progressions that end a phrase. The perfect cadence (V‑I) sounds final; imperfect cadence (I‑V, etc.) sounds unfinished; plagal cadence (IV‑I) gives an ‘Amen’ feel; interrupted cadence (V‑vi) sounds surprising.

终止式是结束乐句的和弦进行。完全终止(V‑I)听起来结束感强;不完全终止(I‑V 等)听起来未完成;变格终止(IV‑I)有“阿门”的音响;阻碍终止(V‑vi)带来意外感。

An ostinato is a repeated melodic or rhythmic pattern, often used in accompaniment.

固定音型是一种重复的旋律或节奏模式,常用于伴奏。

4. Dynamics, Tempo, and Expression | 力度、速度与表情

Dynamics indicate the volume of the music. Italian terms are commonly used: piano (p) means soft, forte (f) means loud, mezzo (m) means moderately, and crescendo (cresc.) means gradually getting louder. Decrescendo (decresc.) or diminuendo (dim.) means gradually getting softer.

力度表示音乐的音量。常用意大利语术语:piano (p) 表示弱,forte (f) 表示强,mezzo (m) 表示中等,crescendo (cresc.) 表示渐强。Decrescendo (decresc.) 或 diminuendo (dim.) 表示渐弱。

Tempo is the speed of the beat. Adagio is slow, andante is walking pace, moderato is moderate, allegro is fast, and presto is very fast. Tempo changes include accelerando (accel.) for speeding up and rallentando (rall.) for slowing down.

速度是节拍的快慢。Adagio 是慢板,andante 是行板,moderato 是中板,allegro 是快板,presto 是急板。速度变化包括 accelerando (accel.) 渐快和 rallentando (rall.) 渐慢。

Expression marks such as staccato (short, detached), legato (smooth, connected), accents (>), and slurs add character to notes.

表情记号如 staccato(断奏,短促分离)、legato(连奏,平滑连贯)、重音(>)以及连音线为音符增添个性。

5. Texture | 织体

Texture describes how many layers of sound are heard at once and how they relate to each other.

织体描述同时听到多少声音层次,以及这些层次之间的关系。

Monophonic
