1. Present Tense -ER Verbs | 现在时 -ER 规则动词
To form the present tense of regular -ER verbs, remove the -er from the infinitive to find the stem, then add the following endings.
构成规则 -ER 动词的现在时,先去掉不定式词尾 -er 得到词干,然后加上下列词尾。
parler (to speak) → stem: parl- + -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent
- je parle
- tu parles
- il/elle/on parle
- nous parlons
- vous parlez
- ils/elles parlent
This rule works for hundreds of verbs such as aimer (to love), jouer (to play) and habiter (to live).
这个规则适用于数百个动词,比如 aimer(喜欢)、jouer(玩耍)和 habiter(居住)。
2. Present Tense -IR and -RE Verbs | 现在时 -IR 与 -RE 规则动词
Regular -IR verbs drop the -ir and take -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent. The most common -RE verbs drop -re and use -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent.
规则 -IR 动词去掉 -ir,加上 -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent。最常见的 -RE 动词去掉 -re,加上 -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent。
finir (to finish) → stem: fin- + -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent
vendre (to sell) → stem: vend- + -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent
- je finis, tu finis, il finit, nous finissons, vous finissez, ils finissent
- je vends, tu vends, il vend, nous vendons, vous vendez, ils vendent
Note that the il/elle/on form for -RE verbs has no ending, so ‘il vend’ stays as the stem.
注意 -RE 动词的 il/elle/on 形式没有词尾,因此 ‘il vend’ 直接就是词干。
3. Key Irregular Verbs: avoir, être, aller, faire | 关键不规则动词:avoir, être, aller, faire
These four verbs are the backbone of many French structures. Learn them by heart as formulas.
这四个动词是许多法语结构的骨干。把它们当作公式牢记。
| Verb | je | tu | il/elle/on | nous | vous | ils/elles |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| avoir (to have) | ai | as | a | avons | avez | ont |
| être (to be) | suis | es | est | sommes | êtes | sont |
| aller (to go) | vais | vas | va | allons | allez | vont |
| faire (to do/make) | fais | fais | fait | faisons | faites | font |
These forms are used in everyday expressions, compound tenses and idiomatic phrases.
这些形式常用于日常表达、复合时态和习惯用语。
4. Adjective Agreement | 形容词的一致性
Most adjectives change their ending to match the gender and number of the noun they describe. Think of this as a ‘matching formula’.
大多数形容词的词尾会根据所修饰名词的性和数发生变化。可以把这个看作一个“匹配公式”。
Masculine singular: blanc → Feminine singular: blanche → Masculine plural: blancs → Feminine plural: blanches
Common irregular patterns include: -er → -ère (cher/chère), -eux → -euse (heureux/heureuse), and -f → -ve (sportif/sportive). Position rules: most adjectives go after the noun, but BAGS (Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size) adjectives come before, e.g. ‘un beau garçon’.
常见的不规则变化包括:-er → -ère(cher/chère)、-eux → -euse(heureux/heureuse)以及 -f → -ve(sportif/sportive)。位置规则:大多数形容词放在名词之后,但 BAGS 类(美、年龄、好、尺寸)形容词位于名词之前,比如 ‘un beau garçon’。
5. Definite, Indefinite and Partitive Articles | 定冠词、不定冠词与部分冠词
Articles are tiny words that work like labels. Use this table as your article formula.
冠词是像标签一样的小词。把这张表当作冠词公式来用。
| Type | Masc. sing. | Fem. sing. | Plural | Before vowel/h |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Definite (the) | le | la | les | l’ |
| Indefinite (a/an) | un | une | des | – |
| Partitive (some) | du | de la | des | de l’ |
After a negative, partitive and indefinite articles change to ‘de’ or ‘d” : ‘Je n’ai pas de pain.’
在否定式后,部分冠词和不定冠词变为 ‘de’ 或 ‘d”:’Je n’ai pas de pain.’(我没有面包。)
6. Negation: ne … pas | 否定式:ne … pas
The basic negation formula places the verb between ‘ne’ and ‘pas’.
基础否定公式是把动词放在 ‘ne’ 和 ‘pas’ 之间。
Subject + ne + conjugated verb + pas
For example: ‘Je parle’ becomes ‘Je ne parle pas’. With a vowel, ‘ne’ becomes ‘n” : ‘Elle n’aime pas’. In the near future, the negation surrounds the conjugated verb ‘aller’ : ‘Je ne vais pas manger’.
例如:’Je parle’ 变为 ‘Je ne parle pas’。在元音前,’ne’ 缩合为 ‘n”:’Elle n’aime pas’。在最近将来时中,否定式包围变位的 ‘aller’:’Je ne vais pas manger’。
7. Forming Questions | 构成疑问句
There are three main formulas for asking questions in KS3 French.
在 KS3 法语中有三种构成疑问句的主要公式。
1. Intonation: Statement + ? (Tu aimes le foot ?)
2. Est-ce que + statement (Est-ce que tu aimes le foot ?)
3. Inversion: Verb-Subject + ? (Aimes-tu le foot ?)
Inversion sounds more formal but you need to add a hyphen and a ‘t’ between vowels when necessary: ‘A-t-il un stylo ?’
倒装听起来更正式,但需要在元音间加入连字符和 ‘t’:’A-t-il un stylo ?’(他有一支笔吗?)
8. Possessive Adjectives | 所有格形容词
Possessive adjectives agree with the noun they describe, not with the owner’s gender. This is a crucial ‘agreement formula’.
所有格形容词与它们所修饰的名词保持一致,而不是与拥有者的性别保持一致。这是一个关键的“一致公式”。
| English | Masc. sing. | Fem. sing. | Plural |
|---|---|---|---|
| my | mon | ma | mes |
| your (singular) | ton | ta | tes |
| his/her/its | son | sa | ses |
| our | notre | notre | nos |
| your (plural/formal) | votre | votre | vos |
| their | leur | leur | leurs |
Note that before a feminine noun starting with a vowel, use ‘mon’, ‘ton’, ‘son’ for ease of pronunciation: ‘mon amie’.
注意,在以元音开头的阴性名词前,出于发音方便使用 ‘mon’, ‘ton’, ‘son’:’mon amie’(我的女性朋友)。
9. Near Future Tense (aller + infinitive) | 最近将来时 (aller + 不定式)
The near future is the first compound tense you learn. It is a two-part formula: the present tense of ‘aller’ plus an infinitive.
最近将来时是你学习的第一种复合时态。它由两部分组成:’aller’ 的现在时加动词不定式。
Subject + conjugated aller + infinitive
Example: ‘Je vais regarder la télé’ (I am going to watch TV). This tense describes an immediate future action, just like ‘going to’ in English.
例如:’Je vais regarder la télé’(我要看电视)。这个时态描述一个即将发生的动作,就像英语中的 ‘going to’。
10. Passé Composé with ‘avoir’ | 以 ‘avoir’ 为助动词的复合过去时
To talk about completed past actions, KS3 introduces the passé composé with ‘avoir’. The formula combines the present tense of avoir and a past participle.
为了谈论已完成的过去动作,KS3 引入了以 ‘avoir’ 为助动词的复合过去时。该公式将 avoir 的现在时与过去分词结合。
Subject + avoir (conjugated) + past participle
Past participle patterns: -ER → -é (manger → mangé), -IR → -i (finir → fini), -RE → -u (vendre → vendu). Many common verbs are irregular, e.g. avoir → eu, être → été, faire → fait, boire → bu.
过去分词规律:-ER → -é(manger → mangé),-IR → -i(finir → fini),-RE → -u(vendre → vendu)。许多常用动词不规则,比如 avoir → eu, être → été, faire → fait, boire → bu。
11. Basic Prepositions of Place | 基础地点介词
These location formulas are often used with the definite article, creating contracted forms with ‘à’ and ‘de’.
12. Telling Time and Dates | 表达时间与日期
Talking about time follows a fixed word-order formula.
谈论时间遵循固定的语序公式。
Il est + [hour] + heure(s) + [minutes]
For example: ‘Il est trois heures dix’ (3:10). For half past, use ‘et demie’ : ‘Il est deux heures et demie’ (2:30). For quarter past/to: ‘et quart / moins le quart’. Dates: ‘C’est le [number] [month]’ – ‘C’est le 5 mai’.
例如:’Il est trois heures dix’(三点十分)。半点用 ‘et demie’:’Il est deux heures et demie’(两点半)。刻钟用 ‘et quart / moins le quart’。日期:’C’est le [数字] [月份]’ – ‘C’est le 5 mai’(五月五日)。
