📚 KS3 WJEC German: Formula & Rules Quick Reference Handbook | KS3 WJEC 德语:公式定理速查手册

This handbook collects the key ‘formulas’ and rules you need for KS3 WJEC German – not equations, but the grammatical patterns that work like formulas to help you build correct sentences. Use it as your go‑to reference for noun genders, verb endings, case charts, word order and more.

这本手册汇集了 KS3 WJEC 德语中你需要的核心“公式”与规则——不是数学方程式,而是像公式一样帮助你造出正确句子的语法模式。把它当作名词词性、动词词尾、格位表格、语序等重要知识的快速查阅指南。

1. Noun Genders: The Three Keys | 名词词性:三把钥匙

Every German noun has a gender: masculine, feminine or neuter. The definite article reflects this: der (masculine), die (feminine), das (neuter). Learn each noun with its article as a fixed formula.

每个德语名词都有词性:阳性、阴性或中性。定冠词反映词性:der(阳性)、die(阴性)、das(中性)。把每个名词和它的冠词当作固定公式来记忆。

  • Masculine: der Mann (the man), der Tisch (the table), der Tag (the day)
  • Feminine: die Frau (the woman), die Schule (the school), die Nacht (the night)
  • Neuter: das Kind (the child), das Buch (the book), das Jahr (the year)

阳性:der Mann(男人)、der Tisch(桌子)、der Tag(日子)
阴性:die Frau(女人)、die Schule(学校)、die Nacht(夜晚)
中性:das Kind(孩子)、das Buch(书)、das Jahr(年)

2. Definite and Indefinite Articles in the Nominative | 主格中的定冠词与不定冠词

The nominative case is used for the subject of a sentence. Learn the basic block formula: masculine der/ein, feminine die/eine, neuter das/ein, plural die/– (no indefinite article for plural).

主格用于句子的主语。记住这个基础公式:阳性 der/ein、阴性 die/eine、中性 das/ein、复数 die/–(复数没有不定冠词)。

Gender Definite Indefinite
Masculine der ein
Feminine die eine
Neuter das ein
Plural die – (keine)

Example: Der Hund ist groß. (The dog is big.) → Ein Hund spielt. (A dog is playing.)
Die Katze schläft. → Eine Katze ist süß. (The/A cat is sweet.)

例句:Der Hund ist groß.(这只狗很大。)→ Ein Hund spielt.(一只狗在玩。)
Die Katze schläft. → Eine Katze ist süß.(这只/一只猫很可爱。)

3. The Accusative Case: Direct Object Formula | 宾格:直接宾语公式

When a noun is the direct object (the thing being acted upon), the articles change. The formula: only masculine changes – der → den and ein → einen. Feminine, neuter and plural stay the same.

当名词是直接宾语(动作的承受者)时,冠词会发生变化。公式为:只有阳性变化——der → denein → einen。阴性、中性和复数保持不变。

  • Masculine: Ich sehe den Mann. (I see the man.) / Ich habe einen Hund. (I have a dog.)
  • Feminine: Ich sehe die Frau. / Ich habe eine Katze.
  • Neuter: Ich sehe das Kind. / Ich habe ein Buch.
  • Plural: Ich sehe die Kinder. / Ich habe – Freunde.

阳性:Ich sehe den Mann.(我看见那个男人。)/ Ich habe einen Hund.(我有一只狗。)
阴性:Ich sehe die Frau. / Ich habe eine Katze.
中性:Ich sehe das Kind. / Ich habe ein Buch.
复数:Ich sehe die Kinder. / Ich habe – Freunde.

4. The Dative Case: Indirect Object Pattern | 与格:间接宾语模式

The dative marks the indirect object (to/for whom?). The article formula changes in all genders: masculine der → dem, ein → einem; feminine die → der, eine → einer; neuter das → dem, ein → einem; plural die → den (and often an extra -n on the noun).

与格标记间接宾语(对/为谁?)。所有性别的冠词公式都变化:阳性 der → dem、ein → einem;阴性 die → der、eine → einer;中性 das → dem、ein → einem;复数 die → den(且名词通常加词尾 -n)。

  • Ich gebe dem Mann das Buch. (I give the book to the man.)
  • Sie hilft einer Frau. (She helps a woman.)
  • Er erklärt dem Kind die Aufgabe. (He explains the task to the child.)
  • Wir danken den Lehrern. (We thank the teachers.)

Ich gebe dem Mann das Buch.(我把书给那个男人。)
Sie hilft einer Frau.(她帮助一位女士。)
Er erklärt dem Kind die Aufgabe.(他给孩子讲解题目。)
Wir danken den Lehrern.(我们感谢老师们。)

5. Personal Pronouns in Three Cases | 人称代词的三格公式

Pronouns follow clear case patterns. Commit this chart to memory – it is a core formula for building sentences.

代词遵循清晰的三格模式。牢记这份表格——它是造句的核心公式。

Person Nominative Accusative Dative
1st sg (I) ich mich mir
2nd sg (you) du dich dir
3rd sg (he/she/it) er/sie/es ihn/sie/es ihm/ihr/ihm
1st pl (we) wir uns uns
2nd pl (you all) ihr euch euch
3rd pl / formal (they/you) sie/Sie sie/Sie ihnen/Ihnen

Application: Kannst du mir helfen? (Can you help me? – dative!) Ich sehe ihn. (I see him – accusative.)

应用:Kannst du mir helfen?(你能帮我吗?——用与格!)Ich sehe ihn.(我看见他——用宾格。)

6. Present Tense Conjugation: The Regular Verb Formula | 规则动词现在时变位公式

For regular (weak) verbs, take the stem (infinitive minus -en) and add these endings. Think of it as a reusable template.

对于规则(弱变化)动词,取词干(不定式减去 -en),然后加上以下词尾。把它当作可重复使用的模板。

STEM + e, st, t, en, t, en

Pronoun Ending spielen (to play) → spiel-
ich -e spiele
du -st spielst
er/sie/es/man -t spielt
wir -en spielen
ihr -t spielt
sie/Sie -en spielen

Common KS3 verbs: machen → mach- (to make/do), wohnen → wohn- (to live), lernen → lern- (to learn), hören → hör- (to listen). Apply the same endings.

常见 KS3 动词:machen → mach-(做)、wohnen → wohn-(居住)、lernen → lern-(学习)、hören → hör-(听)。使用相同的词尾。

7. The Two Giants: haben & sein | 两大支柱:haben 与 sein

These two auxiliary verbs are used constantly for perfect tense, possession and identity. Learn them as off-by-heart formulas.

这两个助动词频繁用于完成时、所有格和身份表达。把它们当作必须背熟的公式来学习。

Subject haben (to have) sein (to be)
ich habe bin
du hast bist
er/sie/es hat ist
wir haben sind
ihr habt seid
sie/Sie haben sind

Examples: Ich habe einen Bruder. (I have a brother.) Bist du müde? (Are you tired?)

例句:Ich habe einen Bruder.(我有一个兄弟。)Bist du müde?(你累吗?)

8. Modal Verb Framework: The Chassis Formula | 情态动词框架:底盘公式

Modal verbs (können, müssen, wollen, dürfen, sollen, mögen) change the main verb to the infinitive at the end. The formula: Subject – modal verb (2nd position) – … – main verb infinitive (end).

(I can swim well.) Wir müssen jetzt gehen. (We must go now.)

公式应用:Ich kann gut schwimmen.(我游泳游得很好。)Wir müssen jetzt gehen.(我们现在必须走了。)

9. Word Order Rule No. 1: The Verb-Second Formula | 语序规则一:动词二位公式

In a main clause (normal statement), the conjugated verb is always the second idea. The first element can be the subject, a time phrase, a place or an object – but the verb must stay in position two.

在主句(普通陈述句)中,变位动词始终是第二个句子成分。第一个成分可以是主语、时间短语、地点或宾语——但动词必须保持在第二位。

Pattern: Position 1 (any element) – Position 2 (finite verb) – rest of sentence.

模式:第一位(任意成分)– 第二位(限定动词)– 句子其余部分。

  • Ich gehe heute ins Kino. (I go to the cinema today.)
  • Heute gehe ich ins Kino. (Today I go to the cinema.)
  • Ins Kino gehe ich heute. (To the cinema I go today.)

Ich gehe heute ins Kino.(我今天去看电影。)
Heute gehe ich ins Kino.(今天我去看电影。)
Ins Kino gehe ich heute.(去看电影我今天去。)

Remember: the verb does not move from position two – only the first element changes.

记住:动词不离开第二位——只有第一个成分会变化。

10. Question Formulas: Yes/No and W-Questions | 疑问句公式:一般疑问句与特殊疑问句

There are two question templates. Yes/no questions start with the verb. W-questions start with a question word, then the verb.

疑问句有两种模板。一般疑问句以动词开头。特殊疑问句以疑问词开头,然后是动词。

  • Yes/No: Verb – Subject – other info?
Kommst du aus Deutschland? (Do you come from Germany?)
Hat er ein Haustier? (Does he have a pet?)
  • W-Questions: Question word – Verb – Subject – rest?
Wie heißt du? (What is your name?)
Wann beginnt der Film? (When does the film start?)
Wo wohnst du? (Where do you live?)

一般疑问句:动词 – 主语 – 其他信息?
Kommst du aus Deutschland?(你来自德国吗?)
Hat er ein Haustier?(他有宠物吗?)
特殊疑问句:疑问词 – 动词 – 主语 – 其余?
Wie heißt du?(你叫什么名字?)
Wann beginnt der Film?(电影什么时候开始?)
Wo wohnst du?(你住在哪里?)

Key question words: wer (who), was (what), wann (when), wo (where), warum (why), wie (how).

核心疑问词:wer(谁)、was(什么)、wann(何时)、wo(何地)、warum(为什么)、wie(怎样)。

11. Negation with nicht and kein | 否定公式:nicht 与 kein

Choose the right negation tool: nicht negates verbs, adjectives and whole ideas; kein negates a noun with an indefinite article (or no article) and takes the same endings as ein.

选择正确的否定工具:nicht 否定动词、形容词和整体概念;kein 否定带不定冠词(或零冠词)的名词,其词尾变化与 ein 相同。

Position of nicht: usually at the end of the clause, but before a second infinitive or separable prefix.

  • Ich verstehe das nicht. (I do not understand that.)
  • Er kann heute nicht kommen. (He cannot come today.)

nicht 的位置:通常在句子末尾,但在第二个不定式或可分前缀之前。
Ich verstehe das nicht.(我不明白那个。)
Er kann heute nicht kommen.(他今天不能来。)

Kein formula: kein, keine, kein, keine (for nominative masculine, feminine, neuter, plural). Example: Ich habe keinen Hund. (I have no dog.) – accusative masculine: keinen.

Kein 公式:主格阳性、阴性、中性、复数分别为 kein, keine, kein, keine。例句:Ich habe keinen Hund.(我没有狗。)——宾格阳性:keinen。

12. Adjective Endings After der/die/das and ein/eine | 形容词词尾公式

Adjective endings follow a predictable pattern depending on the article before them. After definite articles, the adjective usually takes -e or -en; after indefinite articles, the ending signals the gender and case more strongly.

形容词词尾根据其前的冠词遵循可预测的模式。在定冠词之后,形容词通常加 -e-en;在不定冠词之后,词尾更明显地标示词性和格位。

Quick reference for nominative:

  • Der kleine Junge (the small boy) → adjective ends in -e
  • Die nette Lehrerin (the nice teacher) → -e
  • Das alte Buch (the old book) → -e
  • Ein kleiner Junge (a small boy) → masculine nominative with ein gets -er
  • Eine nette Lehrerin → -e
  • Ein altes Buch → -es

主格快速参考:
Der kleine Junge(小男孩)→ 形容词词尾 -e
Die nette Lehrerin → -e
Das alte Buch → -e
Ein kleiner Junge → 阳性主格带 ein 用 -er
Eine nette Lehrerin → -e
Ein altes Buch → -es

For the accusative, the formula shifts: den kleinen Jungen (masculine accusative: adjective + -en). This is an area learners should practise with a chart, but the key formula is that after der/die/das the adjective often just adds -e in nominative, and -en in many other situations.

在宾格中,公式变化:den kleinen Jungen(阳性宾格:形容词 + -en)。学习者需要借助表格练习,但关键公式是:在 der/die/das 之后,形容词主格常加 -e,在许多其他情况下加 -en
