1. Treating Spoken Language as Formal Writing | 将口语当作书面语

Using spoken expressions such as “stuff”, “a lot of”, or filler words like “嗯”, “那个” in essays lowers the register. CAIE examiners expect formal written Chinese in essays and summaries.

在作文中使用 “东西”、”很多” 或 “嗯”、”那个” 等口语化填充词会降低语体档次。CAIE 考官期望在作文和摘要中使用正式书面中文。
