📚 Common Mistakes in IGCSE CCEA French and How to Fix Them | IGCSE CCEA 法语:常见误区与纠正方法

Many IGCSE CCEA French candidates lose marks not because they do not know enough vocabulary, but because they repeat a set of predictable grammar and structure mistakes. This article collects the most common errors in noun gender, adjective agreement, verb tenses, negation, pronouns, time expressions, comparison, questions and relative clauses, and shows how to correct each one. Use it as a revision checklist before your listening, speaking, reading and writing papers.

许多 IGCSE CCEA 法语考生失分不是因为他们词汇量不够,而是因为他们反复出现一批可预测的语法和结构错误。本文汇总了名词性别、形容词配合、动词时态、否定、代词、时间表达、比较、提问和关系从句中最常见的错误,并说明如何逐一纠正。你可以在听力、口语、阅读和写作考试前把它当作复习清单使用。

1. Noun Gender and Article Choice | 名词性别与冠词选择

The first mistake is treating French gender as optional. Every noun is either masculine or feminine, and the article must agree: un livre (m), une chaise (f), le stylo (m), la table (f). When you learn a new noun, always record it with un/une or le/la, not just the bare word.

第一个误区是把法语名词的性别当成可有可无。每个名词要么是阳性要么是阴性,冠词必须一致:un livre(阳性)、une chaise(阴性)、le stylo(阳性)、la table(阴性)。学习新名词时,一定要连同 un/une 或 le/la 一起记录,而不是只记单词本身。

Partitive articles also cause errors. In French, ‘some’ changes before a vowel and in negative sentences: du pain, de la confiture, des fruits, but de l’eau, and in the negative je n’ai pas de pain, not je n’ai pas du pain. Practise the pattern ‘de after a negative’ as a fixed rule.

部分冠词也容易出错。法语中 ‘一些’ 在元音前和否定句中会变化:du pain(一些面包)、de la confiture(一些果酱)、des fruits(一些水果),但 de l’eau(一些水),在否定句中要说 je n’ai pas de pain,而不是 je n’ai pas du pain。请把 ‘否定后用 de’ 当作固定规则来练习。

2. Adjective Agreement and Position | 形容词性数配合与位置

Adjectives must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. Common CCEA writing errors include leaving the feminine form unchanged: une voiture rouge, not une voiture roug; une femme intelligente, not intelligent. Add -e for feminine, -s for plural, and -es for feminine plural as a starting point: petit, petite, petits, petites.

形容词必须与所修饰名词的性和数一致。CCEA 写作中常见错误包括阴性形式不变:une voiture rouge,而不是 une voiture roug;une femme intelligente,而不是 intelligent。基本规则是阴性加 -e,复数加 -s,阴性复数加 -es:petit、petite、petits、petites。

Some adjectives are irregular, and a few change position. Adjectives like beau, nouveau, vieux have special forms before masculine singular vowels: un bel homme, un nouvel ami, un vieil arbre. Most adjectives come after the noun, but a small BANGS group (beauty, age, number, goodness, size) often comes before: une belle maison, un jeune garçon, deux grandes villes.

有些形容词是不规则的,少数还会改变位置。beau、nouveau、vieux 在元音开头的阳性单数名词前有特殊形式:un bel homme、un nouvel ami、un vieil arbre。大多数形容词放在名词之后,但一小类 BANGS 形容词(美丑、年龄、数量、好坏、大小)通常放在名词前:une belle maison、un jeune garçon、deux grandes villes。

3. Present Tense Verb Endings and Key Irregulars | 现在时动词词尾与关键不规则动词

Regular -er verbs are the largest group, but candidates often forget the silent endings. For parler, the present tense is je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. The -ent ending is silent, so ils parlent sounds like il parle, but the written form must be correct.

规则 -er 动词是最大的一类,但考生常常忘记不发音的词尾。以 parler 为例,现在时为 je parle、tu parles、il/elle/on parle、nous parlons、vous parlez、ils/elles parlent。-ent 词尾不发音,所以 ils parlent 听起来像 il parle,但书写必须正确。

Key irregular verbs appear constantly in CCEA papers: être, avoir, aller, faire, pouvoir, vouloir, devoir, prendre, venir. Learn them as fixed chunks. For example, je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont; je peux, tu peux, il peut, nous pouvons, vous pouvez, ils peuvent. Do not rely on logic; memorise and test yourself aloud.

关键不规则动词在 CCEA 试卷中反复出现:être、avoir、aller、faire、pouvoir、vouloir、devoir、prendre、venir。把它们当固定语块来学。例如 je vais、tu vas、il va、nous allons、vous allez、ils vont;je peux、tu peux、il peut、nous pouvons、vous pouvez、ils peuvent。不要依赖逻辑推理,要记忆并大声自测。

4. Passé Composé: Avoir or Être? | 复合过去时:用 avoir 还是 être?

The passé composé is formed with avoir or être + past participle. Most verbs use avoir: j’ai mangé, tu as fini, il a vendu. A small group of movement and reflexive verbs use être: je suis allé(e), elle est partie, ils se sont levés. A useful memory aid is DR MRS VANDERTRAMP: descendre, rester, monter, revenir, sortir, venir, arriver, naître, devenir, entrer, rentrer, tomber, retourner, aller, mourir, partir.

复合过去时由 avoir 或 être + 过去分词构成。大多数动词用 avoir:j’ai mangé、tu as fini、il a vendu。一小部分移动动词和所有代词式动词用 être:je suis allé(e)、elle est partie、ils se sont levés。一个常用记忆法是 DR MRS VANDERTRAMP:descendre、rester、monter、revenir、sortir、venir、arriver、naître、devenir、ent
