📚 IGCSE Cambridge French: High-Frequency Topics and Common Mistakes | IGCSE 剑桥法语:高频考点与易错题分析
Cambridge IGCSE French tests four main skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Within these papers, a limited set of grammar points, vocabulary fields and question types appear again and again. This revision guide focuses on the high-frequency topics and the most common mistakes made by IGCSE learners, with concise explanations in both English and Chinese.
剑桥 IGCSE 法语考查四项主要技能:听力、阅读、写作和口语。在这些试卷中,一部分语法点、词汇领域和题型反复出现。本复习指南聚焦高频考点和 IGCSE 考生最常犯的错误,并提供中英双语简洁讲解。
1. Present Tense Conjugation of High-Frequency Irregular Verbs | 高频不规则动词的现在时变位
In Cambridge IGCSE French, accurate verb conjugation in the present tense is the foundation of almost every skill. Irregular verbs such as être, avoir, aller, faire, pouvoir, vouloir, devoir, venir, prendre and mettre appear frequently in reading, writing and speaking tasks. A common error is mixing up the je and tu forms of -er verbs or forgetting the stem changes in verbs like acheter (j’achète) and préférer (je préfère).
在剑桥 IGCSE 法语中,现在时的准确动词变位几乎是所有技能的基础。être、avoir、aller、faire、pouvoir、vouloir、devoir、venir、prendre、mettre 等不规则动词在阅读、写作和口语任务中出现频率很高。常见错误是混淆 -er 动词的 je 和 tu 形式,或者忘记 acheter (j’achète) 和 préférer (je préfère) 等动词的词干变化。
For -ir verbs such as finir and choisir, remember the -iss- stem in the plural forms: nous finissons, vous choisissez. For -re verbs like vendre and attendre, the singular forms drop the -re ending: je vends, tu attends, il attend. Students often wrongly write “je finis” for “nous finissons” in the plural.
对于 finir、choisir 等 -ir 动词,要记住复数形式中的 -iss- 词干:nous finissons、vous choisissez。对于 vendre、attendre 等 -re 动词,单数形式去掉 -re 词尾:je vends、tu attends、il attend。学生经常在复数形式中错误地写成 “je finis” 而不是 “nous finissons”。
2. Passé Composé and Imparfait: Choosing the Right Past Tense | 复合过去时与未完成过去时:选择正确的过去时态
The passé composé and imparfait distinction is a very common source of error. Passé composé expresses completed actions or a sequence of events, while imparfait describes background, habits or states. Students often write “j’ai été” instead of “j’étais” for descriptions, or fail to use the imparfait after phrases like “quand j’étais petit”.
复合过去时和未完成过去时的区分是常见易错点。复合过去时表示完成的动作或一连串事件,而未完成过去时描写背景、习惯或状态。学生常把描写性内容写成 j’ai été 而不是 j’étais,或者在 “quand j’étais petit” 等短语后没有使用未完成过去时。
For regular -er verbs, the past participle ends in -é; for -ir verbs it ends in -i; for many -re verbs it ends in -u. Common mistakes include adding an extra e for feminine subjects when the auxiliary is avoir and the direct object is not before the verb. The phrase “la lettre que j’ai écrite” is correct because the direct object la lettre precedes the participle.
规则 -er 动词的过去分词以 -é 结尾,-ir 动词以 -i 结尾,许多 -re 动词以 -u 结尾。常见错误包括:当助动词为 avoir 且直接宾语没有提前时,给过去分词多加 e。短语 la lettre que j’ai écrite 正确,因为直接宾语 la lettre 位于分词之前。
3. Choosing Between Être and Avoir in Compound Tenses | 复合时态中 être 与 avoir 的选择
A smaller group of verbs uses être in the passé composé, often remembered by ‘Dr & Mrs Vandertramp’ or similar memory aids. Examples include aller, venir, arriver, partir, entrer, sortir, monter, descendre, rester, tomber, naître, mourir and retourner. Reflexive verbs always use être. With être, the past participle agrees with the subject: elle est allée, nous sommes partis, elles sont venues.
一组较少的动词在复合过去时中使用 être,常见的记忆法是 ‘Dr & Mrs Vandertramp’。例如 aller、venir、arriver、partir、entrer、sortir、monter、descendre、rester、tomber、naître、mourir、retourner。反身动词总是使用 être。使用 être 时,过去分词要与主语性数一致:elle est allée、nous sommes partis、elles sont venues。
A high-frequency trap is the verb passer. It uses être when it means to pass by or spend time without a direct object: elle est passée par Lyon, but avoir when it has a direct object: elle a passé un examen. Similarly, sortir can take avoir when it has a direct object: j’ai sorti la voiture.
高频陷阱是动词 passer。表示经过或度过时间且无直接宾语时使用 être:elle est passée par Lyon;但有直接宾语时使用 avoir:elle a passé un examen。同样,sortir 在带直接宾语时用 avoir:j’ai sorti la voiture。
4. Object Pronouns: COD, COI, y, en and Word Order | 宾语代词:直接、间接、y、en 及词序
IGCSE writing and speaking require accurate object pronouns. Direct object pronouns (me, te, le, la, nous, vous, les) replace the direct object. Indirect object pronouns (me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur) replace nouns introduced by à. The pronouns y and en cause many errors: y replaces a place or à + thing, while en replaces de + noun or a quantity.
IGCSE 写作和口语要求代词准确。直接宾语代词 (me, te, le, la, nous, vous, les
