📚 IGCSE Cambridge German: Case Study Practical Drills | IGCSE 剑桥德语:案例分析实战演练

Welcome to this practical revision workshop for the IGCSE Cambridge German examination. In this article, we will work through realistic case-study tasks that mirror the reading, listening, writing and speaking papers. Each section gives you a German scenario, key strategies and sample answers so that you can practise independently.

欢迎来到这堂针对 IGCSE 剑桥德语考试的实战复习课。本文将带你完成模拟真实考试的案例分析任务,涵盖阅读、听力、写作和口语四个部分。每个小节都提供一个德语情境、关键策略和示例答案,方便你独立练习。

1. Understanding the IGCSE German Case Study Format | 理解 IGCSE 德语案例分析题型

In the Cambridge IGCSE German examination, case-study tasks are not labelled as a separate paper, but they appear in every skill area. You may read an email about a school trip, listen to a station announcement, write a reply to a host family, or role-play a conversation at a lost property office. The common goal is to use German for a clear, real-life purpose.

在剑桥 IGCSE 德语考试中,案例分析任务并不是一份独立的试卷,而是出现在每一项技能中。你可能需要阅读一封关于学校旅行的邮件、听一段车站广播、给寄宿家庭写一封回信,或者在失物招领处进行角色扮演对话。共同目标是用德语完成一个清晰、真实的目的。

The examiners are testing two things: whether you can understand the main message and specific details, and whether you can produce an appropriate response. For reading and listening, questions often ask for names, dates, times, places or reasons. For writing and speaking, you are marked on content, range of language and accuracy.

考官主要考查两点:你能否理解主要信息和具体细节,以及你能否作出恰当的回应。在阅读和听力中,题目经常询问姓名、日期、时间、地点或原因。在写作和口语中,评分标准包括内容、语言广度和准确性。

A useful drill is to turn every case study into a simple table with four columns: situation, key information, required response, and language needed. This keeps your revision focused and exam-ready.

一个有效的练习方法是把每个案例写成一个四栏表格:情境、关键信息、所需回应和所需语言。这样可以让你的复习更有针对性,更接近考试状态。

2. Case Study 1: Reading – Die Einladung | 案例分析一:阅读 – 邀请邮件

Read the following email from a German partner school. It is typical of the short texts used in Paper 1 and Paper 2 reading tasks.

Now look at typical questions. One question may ask: Wann beginnt der Austausch? The answer is ‘Am 5. Oktober um 14 Uhr.’ Another may ask: Was soll Alex mitbringen? The answer is ‘Einen Regenschirm.’ Notice that the answers often appear in the same order as the text.

现在来看典型问题。一个题目可能问:交流活动什么时候开始?答案是”10 月 5 日 14 点”。另一个可能问:Alex 应该带什么?答案是”一把雨伞”。注意答案通常按照文本顺序出现。

Your strategy should be: first read the questions, then underline key words such as wann, wo, was, warum. Next scan the text for those key words. Do not panic if you see unknown words like Holstentor; it is a proper noun and you can simply copy it if needed.

你的策略应该是:先读题目,然后划出关键词,例如 wann, wo, was, warum。接着在文本中定位这些关键词。如果遇到 Holstentor 这样的生词,不要慌张;它是专有名词,需要时直接抄写即可。

3. Case Study 2: Listening – Durchsage am Bahnhof | 案例分析二:听力 – 火车站广播

Listening case studies often take place in public spaces: train stations, airports, supermarkets or schools. A typical task involves a short announcement with one or two changes of detail. You hear the recording twice and must complete a form or choose the correct option.

听力案例分析经常发生在公共场所:火车站、机场、超市或学校。典型任务包含一段简短广播,其中有一两处细节变化。录音播放两遍,你需要填写表格或选择正确选项。

Listen carefully to this extract and note the key details. Example transcript: “Achtung auf Gleis 7. Der Zug nach Berlin fährt heute nicht um 15:20, sondern um 15:45 ab. Reisende nach Hamburg warten bitte auf Gleis 9. Vielen Dank.”

请仔细听这段录音并记录关键信息。示例文本:“请注意 7 号站台。开往柏林的火车今天不是 15:20 出发,而是 15:45 出发。前往汉堡的旅客请在 9 号站台等候。谢谢。”

A common trap is the changed time or platform. The first number you hear may be the wrong one. In this example, 15:20 is the original time, but the correct departure time is 15:45. Likewise, Berlin is on platform 7, but Hamburg is on platform 9.

常见的陷阱是变化的时间或站台。你听到的第一个数字可能是错误的。在这个例子中,15:20 是原定时间,而正确的出发时间是 15:45。同样,柏林方向在 7 号站台,但汉堡方向在 9 号站台。

Practise writing numbers accurately: time as 15:45, dates as 5. Oktober, and platforms as Gleis 9. In the exam, spelling the number in words is acceptable, but digits are safer for clarity.

练习准确书写数字:时间写 15:45,日期写 5. Oktober,站台写 Gleis 9。考试中,用数字写更安全清晰,也可以拼写成单词。

4. Case Study 3: Writing – Formelle E-Mail | 案例分析三:写作 – 正式电子邮件

For the writing paper, you may be asked to reply to a formal email from a teacher or an organisation. The task usually gives you three or four bullet points that you must cover. A strong answer keeps the correct formal tone, uses the Sie form, and follows a clear structure.

在写作试卷中,你可能会被要求回复一封来自老师或机构的正式邮件。题目通常会给出三到四个必须涵盖的要点。高分答案应保持正确的正式语气,使用 Sie 称呼,并遵循清晰的结构。

A formal email should include: a greeting such as Sehr geehrte Frau Schmidt, an introduction, the main body answering each bullet point, a closing sentence, and a sign-off such as Mit freundlichen Grüßen.

正式邮件应包括:问候语,例如 Sehr geehrte Frau Schmidt;引言;回答每个要点的正文;结束语;以及落款,例如 Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Sample opening: “Sehr geehrte Frau Schmidt, vielen Dank für Ihre E-Mail. Ich freue mich sehr auf den Austausch im Oktober.”

示例开头:“尊敬的 Schmidt 女士,感谢您的邮件。我非常期待十月份的交流活动。”

For the main body, tick off each bullet point one by one. If the task asks about your arrival time, your hobbies and a question about the host family, write one short paragraph for each. Avoid listing without verbs; use full sentences such as Ich komme am 5. Oktober um 14 Uhr an.

在正文部分,逐条勾选每个要点。如果题目要求写到达时间、你的爱好以及一个关于寄宿家庭的问题,就为每个要点写一个简短段落。避免只列单词而不用动词;请使用完整句子,例如 Ich komme am 5. Oktober um 14 Uhr an.

5. Case Study 4: Writing – Informelle Nachricht | 案例分析四:写作 – 非正式消息

In contrast, an informal writing task may ask you to write a message to your host family or a German friend. Here the tone is relaxed, you use du, and you can include friendly expressions such as Ich freue mich riesig! or Bis bald!.

The mark scheme rewards a natural, personal style. Use at least one question, one opinion and one future tense expression such as Ich werde viele Fotos machen. Keep the register consistent: do not suddenly switch to Sie.

评分标准鼓励自然、个性化的风格。至少使用一个疑问句、一个观点句和一个将来时表达,例如 Ich werde viele Fotos machen. 保持语体一致,不要突然换成 Sie

6. Speaking: Rollenspiel – Am Flughafen | 口语:角色扮演 – 在机场

The speaking paper usually starts with a role-play. You receive a card with a situation and must respond to the examiner’s prompts. For example, you are at the airport and need to find your gate, ask about a delayed flight, or report a lost bag.

口语考试通常以角色扮演开始。你会拿到一张情境卡,必须回应考官的提示。例如,你在机场需要找到登机口、询问延误航班,或者报告行李丢失。

Example exchange: Examiner: “Guten Tag, kann ich Ihnen helfen?” You: “Ja, ich suche den Flug nach München. Wo ist das Gate?” Examiner: “Das Gate ist B12. Beeilen Sie sich!” You: “Danke! Wie lange dauert der Weg dorthin?”

示例对话:考官:”您好,需要帮忙吗?”你:”是的,我在找去慕尼黑的航班。登机口在哪里?”考官:”登机口是 B12,请抓紧!”你:”谢谢!到那里需要多久?”

To prepare, learn fixed phrases for polite requests, asking for repetition, and checking information: Können Sie das bitte wiederholen?, Habe ich Sie richtig verstanden?, Wo finde ich…? Respond in complete sentences, not just single words.

备考时,记住礼貌请求、请求重复和确认信息的固定表达:Können Sie das bitte wiederholen?Habe ich Sie richtig verstanden?Wo finde ich…? 用完整句子回答,不要只蹦单词。

7. Speaking: Themenkonversation – Mein Alltag | 口语:主题对话 – 我的日常生活

After the role-play, you move to a topic conversation. The examiner will ask about familiar themes: family, school, free time, travel, future plans. The key to a high score is to extend every answer with a reason, an example or a personal experience.

角色扮演之后,你会进入主题对话。考官会询问熟悉的话题:家庭、学校、空闲时间、旅行、未来计划。获得高分的关键是每个回答都加以扩展,提供理由、例子或个人经历。

For instance, if the examiner asks Was machst du gern am Wochenende?, a weak answer is Ich spiele Fußball. A strong answer is: Am Wochenende spiele ich gern Fußball mit meinen Freunden, weil wir eine Mannschaft haben. Letzten Samstag haben wir 3:1 gewonnen.

例如,如果考官问 Was machst du gern am Wochenende?,较弱的回答是 Ich spiele Fußball. 较强的回答是:Am Wochenende spiele ich gern Fußball mit meinen Freunden, weil wir eine Mannschaft haben. Letzten Samstag haben wir 3:1 gewonnen.

Use the structure: opinion + reason + example + past or future detail. This pushes your answer beyond a basic sentence and shows a range of tenses and vocabulary.

使用结构:观点 + 理由 + 例子 + 过去或将来细节。这样能让回答超出简单句,展示时态和词汇的广度。

Practise recording yourself answering questions. Listen for long pauses, English filler words such as ‘um’, and missing verb endings. Replace them with also, naja, or simply pause silently.

练习录音并回答题目。注意听是否有长时间停顿、英文填充词(如 “um”)以及遗漏的动词词尾。用 alsonaja 替代,或安静地停顿。

8. Grammar in Context: Fälle und Satzstruktur | 语境语法:格与句子结构

Case studies constantly require accurate use of the four German cases. In transport and travel contexts, prepositions control the case: mit takes the dative, für takes the accusative, and two-way prepositions like in depend on movement or location.

案例分析经常需要准确使用德语的四个格。在交通和旅行情境中,介词决定格:mit 支配与格,für 支配宾格,而 in 等两用介词根据运动或位置决定格。

Look at these examples: Ich fahre mit dem Zug. (dative after mit), Ich habe einen Koffer. (accusative object), Ich warte auf den Bus. (accusative after auf in a fixed phrase), Ich bin in der Schule. (dative for location).

看这些例子:Ich fahre mit dem Zug.mit 后接与格),Ich habe einen Koffer.(宾格宾语),Ich warte auf den Bus.(固定短语中 auf 后接宾格),Ich bin in der Schule.(表示位置时用与格)。

Word order is equally important in case-study answers. In a main clause, the verb stays in second position: Morgen fahre ich nach Hamburg. In a subordinate clause with weil, dass, wenn, the verb goes to the end: Ich freue mich, weil ich nach Hamburg fahre.

语序在案例分析答案中同样重要。在主句中,动词保持在第二位:Morgen fahre ich nach Hamburg.weil, dass, wenn 引导的从句中,动词放到句末:Ich freue mich, weil ich nach Hamburg fahre.

Preposition Case Example
mit dative mit dem Bus
für accusative für die Reise
nach dative nach Deutschland
in (movement) accusative in die Stadt
in (location) dative in der Stadt

9. Wortschatz für Fallstudien | 案例词汇积累

Building topic-specific vocabulary is one of the fastest ways to improve in case-study tasks. Below are high-frequency words grouped by typical IGCSE themes. Learn them with their article and plural form.

积累主题词汇是提高案例分析任务成绩最快的方法之一。下面按典型 IGCSE 主题整理了高频词汇。学习时要记住名词的冠词和复数形式。

German English 中文
der Bahnhof, -höfe station 火车站
die Verspätung, -en delay 延误
der Koffer, – suitcase 行李箱
die Gastfamilie, -n host family 寄宿家庭
der Stundenplan, -pläne timetable 课程表
die Unterkunft, -künfte accommodation 住宿
die Anmeldung, -en registration 报名
der Ausweis, -e ID card 身份证

Also learn useful verbs and collocations: sich anmelden (to register), abholen (to pick up), sich verabreden (to arrange to meet), eine Entscheidung treffen (to make a decision). These appear frequently in both reading and writing tasks.

还要学习有用的动词和固定搭配:sich anmelden(报名)、abholen(接人)、sich verabreden(约见面)、eine Entscheidung treffen(做决定)。这些在阅读和写作任务中都经常出现。

10. Prüfungsstrategie: Zeitmanagement und Bewertung | 考试策略:时间管理与评分

Effective time management can make a real difference in the IGCSE German examination. For reading, spend about one minute per mark. For a 30-mark paper, use around 30 minutes, leaving a few minutes to check your answers. For writing, divide your time into planning, writing and proofreading.

有效的时间管理在 IGCSE 德语考试中能带来真正的差异。阅读部分大约每分对应一分钟。30 分的试卷用大约 30 分钟,并留几分钟检查。写作部分则把时间分为计划、写作和校对。

In listening, use the pause before each section to read the questions. Underline the question word and the key noun. During the first listening, note only the essential information. During the second listening, fill in gaps and correct any mistakes.

听力部分,利用每个部分开始前的停顿阅读题目。划出疑问词和关键名词。第一遍听时只记录必要信息。第二遍听时补全空缺并改正错误。

For speaking, keep your answers within a natural length. A role-play answer of one or two sentences is enough. A topic conversation answer should be three to five sentences. Do not memorise long speeches; examiners prefer spontaneous, relevant responses.

口语方面,回答长度要自然。角色扮演一到两个句子就够。主题对话回答应为三到五句话。不要背诵长篇大论;考官更喜欢即时、切题的回答。

The mark scheme rewards communication first. If you make a minor grammar error but the message is clear, you can still score well. Prioritise answering every bullet point or question, then polish your language if time remains.

评分标准首先奖励信息交流。如果你犯了小的语法错误但信息清晰,仍然可以得高分。优先回答每一个要点或问题,如果还有时间再润色语言。

11. Häufige Fehler und wie man sie vermeidet | 常见错误与避免方法

Case-study tasks expose a small set of recurring mistakes. The first is confusing the accusative and dative articles: Ich sehe den Mann but Ich helfe dem Mann. Practise with high-frequency verbs that take the dative, such as helfen, danken, gefallen, gehören.

案例分析任务暴露出一小类反复出现的错误。第一个是混淆宾格和与格冠词:Ich sehe den MannIch helfe dem Mann. 多练习支配与格的高频动词,例如 helfen, danken, gefallen, gehören

The second is verb position. Many students write Weil ich bin müde, but the correct form is Weil ich müde bin. In main clauses, do not push the verb to the end: say Heute bin ich müde.

第二个错误是动词位置。很多学生写成 Weil ich bin müde, 但正确形式是 Weil ich müde bin. 在主句中,不要把动词放到句末:应该说 Heute bin ich müde.

The third is copying numbers incorrectly in listening. For example, hearing vierzehn and writing 40 instead of 14. Drill the pairs: dreizehn/dreißig, vierzehn/vierzig, fünfzehn/fünfzig. Write the digit as soon as you hear it
