In speaking, you need to communicate clearly and sustain a conversation. In listening, you need to catch gist and detail while coping with speed, accent and distractors.

In the role-play, you are given a situation such as buying a train ticket, booking a hotel room or ordering food. The picture task asks you to describe what you see, then move beyond description by saying what you think, what has just happened or what will happen next.
