Before you open a textbook, take time to understand how CCEA IGCSE French is assessed. The qualification is built around four equally weighted skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. In most centres each unit contributes about 25% of the final grade, so a weakness in one skill cannot be fully hidden by strengths elsewhere.
