When you meet someone in the morning, you say Bonjour. In the afternoon or evening, use Bonsoir. With friends, a casual Salut works both for hello and goodbye. To say goodbye, you can use Au revoir or À bientôt.

3. Colours and Describing Objects | 颜色与物品描述

The main colours in French are: rouge, bleu, jaune, vert, noir, blanc, orange, rose, violet, gris, marron. When describing something, remember that colours usually come after the noun and must agree with it in gender and number.

法语的主要颜色有:rouge, bleu, jaune, vert, noir, blanc, orange, rose, violet, gris, marron。描述事物时,注意颜色通常放在名词之后,并须与名词的性数配合。

  • A red car: une voiture rouge (féminin singulier) – 一辆红色的汽车(阴性单数)
  • A blue pen: un stylo bleu (masculin singulier) – 一支蓝色的笔(阳性单数)
  • Green chairs: des chaises vertes (féminin pluriel) – 绿色的椅子(阴性复数)
  • Brown shoes: des chaussures marron (invariable) – 棕色的鞋子(颜色不变)

Some colours like orange and marron never change their form. To say ‘it is’ plus an adjective, use C’est before a noun with an article (C’est un livre rouge.) and Il / Elle est before an adjective alone (Il est rouge.).

像 orange 和 marron 这类颜色词形不变。用形容词描述时,若后有名词带冠词则用 C’est(如 C’est un livre rouge.),若单独使用形容词则用 Il / Elle est(如 Il est rouge.)。


4. Family and Pets | 家庭与宠物

Key family members: mon père (my father), ma mère (my mother), mon frère (my brother), ma sœur (my sister), mes parents (my parents), mes grands-parents (my grandparents). Note that mon is used before masculine nouns, ma before feminine nouns, and mes for all plurals.

主要家庭成员:mon père(我的父亲)、ma mère(我的母亲)、mon frère(我的兄弟)、ma sœur(我的姐妹)、mes parents(我的父母)、mes grands-parents(我的祖父母)。注意阳性名词前用 mon,阴性名词前用 ma,所有复数用 mes。

Common pets: un chien (dog), un chat (cat), un poisson (fish), un hamster (hamster), un oiseau (bird). Use the verb avoir to talk about family and pets: J’ai un frère et une sœur. Tu as un animal ? — Oui, j’ai un chien. / Non, je n’ai pas d’animal.

5. School Life | 学校生活

School subjects: le français, l’anglais, les maths, les sciences, l’histoire, la géographie, l’EPS (éducation physique et sportive), la musique, l’informatique, l’art dramatique. To express likes and dislikes, use J’aime / Je n’aime pas followed by the subject with the definite article. Add a reason with parce que c’est + adjective.

学校科目:le français, l’anglais, les maths, les sciences, l’histoire, la géographie, l’EPS, la musique, l’informatique, l’art dramatique。表达喜好用 J’aime / Je n’aime pas 加带定冠词的科目名,并用 parce que c’est + 形容词补充理由。

Classroom objects: un cahier (exercise book), un stylo (pen), un crayon (pencil), un livre (book), une trousse (pencil case), une règle (ruler), une gomme (eraser), une calculatrice (calculator). Use il y a (there is / there are) to describe what is in your bag or classroom: Dans mon sac, il y a une trousse et deux livres.

学校用品:un cahier(练习册)、un stylo(笔)、un crayon(铅笔)、un livre(书)、une trousse(文具盒)、une règle(尺子)、une gomme(橡皮)、une calculatrice(计算器)。用 il y a 描述书包或教室里的物品:Dans mon sac, il y a une trousse et deux livres.


6. Telling the Time and Daily Routine | 报时与日常

To ask the time: Quelle heure est-il ? Answer using Il est … heure(s). For o’clock times: Il est une heure. (1:00), Il est deux heures. (2:00). For half past: Il est trois heures et demie. (3:30). For quarter past: Il est quatre heures et quart. (4:15). For quarter to: Il est cinq heures moins le quart. (4:45). Midday is midi and midnight is minuit.

询问时间:Quelle heure est-il ? 回答用 Il est … heure(s). 整点如 Il est une heure.(1:00)、Il est deux heures.(2:00)。半点用 Il est trois heures et demie.(3:30)。一刻用 Il est quatre heures et quart.(4:15)。差一刻用 Il est cinq heures moins le quart.(4:45)。中午是 midi,午夜是 minuit。

Key daily routine phrases: je me lève (I get up), je prends le petit-déjeuner (I have breakfast), je vais à l’école (I go to school), je déjeune (I have lunch), je fais mes devoirs (I do my homework), je regarde la télé (I watch TV), je me couche (I go to bed). Combine with time phrases: Je me lève à sept heures et demie.

7. Food and Drink | 饮食

Common food items: le pain, le fromage, le jambon, le poulet, les pâtes, le riz, les légumes, les fruits, la salade, le gâteau, la glace, les bonbons. Drinks: l’eau, le jus d’orange, le lait, le coca, le thé, le chocolat chaud.

To express what you like to eat, use J’aime with the partitive article: du (masculine), de la (feminine), des (plural). For negatives, use de after pas. Examples: J’aime le pain. (I like bread in general.) Je mange du pain. (I eat some bread.) Je ne mange pas de pain. (I don’t eat any bread.)
