Year 7 CIE French: Quick-Reference Handbook of Formulae & Rules | Year 7 CIE 法语:公式定理速查手册

📚 Year 7 CIE French: Quick-Reference Handbook of Formulae & Rules | Year 7 CIE 法语:公式定理速查手册

This handbook presents the essential grammatical ‘formulae’ every Year 7 CIE French learner needs. Think of these rules as the equations of the language — once memorised, they unlock accurate speaking, reading and writing.

本手册汇总了每位 Year 7 CIE 法语学习者必须掌握的语法“公式”。请将这些规则视为语言的方程式 —— 一旦熟记,它们将帮你准确地听、说、读、写。

1. Definite and Indefinite Articles | 定冠词与不定冠词

Formula: definite article = le (m.), la (f.), l’ (before vowel), les (pl.) ; indefinite = un (m.), une (f.), des (pl.)

公式:定冠词 = le(阳)、la(阴)、l’(元音前)、les(复);不定冠词 = un(阳)、une(阴)、des(复)

Use the definite article when referring to something specific or when stating a general truth: J’aime le chocolat. The indefinite article introduces a non‑specific item: C’est une pomme.

指特定事物或陈述普遍真理时用定冠词:J’aime le chocolat. 不定冠词用于引入非特定事物:C’est une pomme.

类型 阳性 阴性 元音/哑音 h 前 复数
定冠词 le la l’ les
不定冠词 un une un/une des

After a negative, un/une/des usually change to de (or d’): Je n’ai pas de frère.

在否定句中,un/une/des 通常变为 de(或 d’):Je n’ai pas de frère.

2. Gender of Nouns | 名词的性

In French every noun is masculine or feminine. There is no single rule, but endings give strong clues.

法语中每个名词都有阴阳性。虽无绝对规律,但词尾能提供有力的线索。

Common masculine endings: -eau (bateau), -ment (appartement), -age (fromage). Common feminine endings: -tion (nation), -ette (fourchette), -ence (patience).

常见阳性词尾:-eau(船)、-ment(公寓)、-age(奶酪)。常见阴性词尾:-tion(国家)、-ette(叉子)、-ence(耐心)。

Always learn the article with the noun: la table, le livre. This establishes the gender ‘formula’ for later agreement.

务必把冠词和名词一起记忆:la table、le livre。这样能为之后的配合建立性数“公式”。

3. Plural of Nouns | 名词的复数

General rule: add -s to the singular form. Le chat → les chats.

一般规则:单数形式加 -s。Le chat → les chats。

Nouns ending in -eau or -eu add -x: un bateau → des bateaux. Most nouns ending in -al change to -aux: un animal → des animaux.

以 -eau 或 -eu 结尾的名词加 -x:un bateau → des bateaux。以 -al 结尾的名词大多变为 -aux:un animal → des animaux。

Some nouns remain unchanged: un nez → des nez, un prix → des prix.

部分名词保持不变:un nez → des nez,un prix → des prix。

4. Subject Pronouns | 主语人称代词

These are the ‘variables’ that slot into verb formulae. Memorise the set: je (I), tu (you sing., informal), il (he / it), elle (she / it), on (one / we in speech), nous (we), vous (you pl. or formal), ils (they m.), elles (they f.).

这些是代入动词公式的“变量”。请熟记:je(我)、tu(你,单数亲切)、il(他/它)、elle(她/它)、on(泛指人们/我们)、nous(我们)、vous(你们或您)、ils(他们)、elles(她们)。

On always takes a third‑person singular verb, just like il/elle: On mange. Vous is used for politeness when addressing one person.

On 永远搭配第三人称单数动词,就像 il/elle:On mange. 对单个对象表敬称时用 vous。

5. Present Tense of être and avoir | être 和 avoir 的现在时变位

The verbs être (to be) and avoir (to have) are the two most fundamental ‘theorems’ in French. They are irregular and must be learnt by heart.

动词 être(是)和 avoir(有)是法语中最基础的两条“定理”。它们是不规则动词,必须熟背。

Pronoun être avoir
je suis ai
tu es as
il/elle/on est a
nous sommes avons
vous êtes avez
ils/elles sont ont

Use avoir to express age: J’ai douze ans. (literally ‘I have twelve years’). Use être for describing nationality, profession, mood.

表达年龄用 avoir:J’ai douze ans.(字面义“我有十二岁”)。描述国籍、职业、情绪时用 être。

6. Regular -er Verb Conjugation Formula | 规则 -er 动词变位公式

Over 80 % of French verbs follow this pattern. The formula: remove -er from the infinitive, then add the endings: -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent.

超过 80 % 的法语动词遵循该模式。公式:去掉不定式词尾 -er,然后加上词尾:-e、-es、-e、-ons、-ez、-ent。

Example with parler (to speak): je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent.

以 parler 为例:je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent。

Verbs ending in -ger (manger) keep the -e- in the nous form: nous mangeons. Verbs in -cer (commencer) take a cedilla: nous commençons.

-ger 结尾的动词(如 manger)在 nous 形中保留 -e-:nous mangeons。-cer 结尾的动词(如 commencer)加软音符:nous commençons。

7. Agreement of Adjectives | 形容词的性数配合

The adjective must agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) with the noun it describes. The base form ends in a consonant; add -e for feminine, -s for masculine plural, -es for feminine plural.

形容词必须与所修饰名词的性(阴阳性)、数(单复数)配合。基础形式以辅音结尾;阴性加 -e,阳性复数加 -s,阴性复数加 -es。

Grand: un grand garçon → une grande fille → de grands garçons → de grandes filles.

Grand:un grand garçon → une grande fille → de grands garçons → de grandes filles。

If the masculine form already ends in -e, the feminine form does not change: un livre rouge → une robe rouge.

若阳性形式本身以 -e 结尾,阴性形式不变化:un livre rouge → une robe rouge。

Common irregular adjectives: beau → belle, nouveau → nouvelle, vieux → vieille, blanc → blanche.

常见不规则形容词:beau → belle、nouveau → nouvelle、vieux → vieille、blanc → blanche。

8. Negation Formula: ne … pas | 否定公式:ne … pas

To make a verb negative, surround the conjugated verb with ne (or n’ before a vowel) and pas. This is the core negative ‘bracket’.

要将动词变为否定,用 ne(元音前用 n’)和 pas 包住变位动词。这是核心否定“括号”。

Je parle → Je ne parle pas. / Il a un chien → Il n’a pas de chien.

Je parle → Je ne parle pas. / Il a un chien → Il n’a pas de chien.

With compound tenses (later years) the bracket encloses the auxiliary: Je n’ai pas mangé. For Year 7, focus on the present tense.

在复合时态(高年级会学)中,括号包住助动词:Je n’ai pas mangé. Year 7 只需掌握现在时即可。

Other negatives work on the same principle: ne … jamais (never), ne … plus (no longer), ne … rien (nothing).

其他否定也遵循同样原理:ne … jamais(从不)、ne … plus(不再)、ne … rien(什么都没有)。

9. Question Forms | 疑问句形式

There are three reliable ‘formulae’ for asking questions in Year 7 French.

Year 7 法语中有三种可靠的疑问“公式”。

Formula 1 – Intonation: simply raise your voice at the end of a statement. Tu aimes le sport ? (informal).

公式一 – 语调法:陈述句尾音上扬即可。Tu aimes le sport ?(非正式)。

Formula 2 – Est-ce que: place Est-ce que before the statement. Est-ce que tu aimes le sport ? (neutral / formal).

公式二 – Est-ce que:将 Est-ce que 置于陈述句前。Est-ce que tu aimes le sport ?(中性/正式)。

Formula 3 – Inversion: swap the subject pronoun and verb, linked by a hyphen. Aimes-tu le sport ? (formal).

公式三 – 倒装:主语代词与动词调换位置,加连字符。Aimes-tu le sport ?(正式)。

10. Possessive Adjectives | 主有形容词

Think of these as ‘linking rules’ that vary by the gender of the owned noun, not the owner. The formula: mon, ma, mes (my), ton, ta, tes (your), son, sa, ses (his/her), notre, nos (our), votre, vos (your), leur, leurs (their).

可把这些视为“连接规则”,其变化取决于所属名词的性数,而非拥有者。公式:mon, ma, mes;ton, ta, tes;son, sa, ses;notre, nos;votre, vos;leur, leurs。

Before a feminine noun starting with a vowel, use the masculine form to avoid hiatus: mon amie (not ma amie).

以元音开头的阴性名词前,为避免元音冲突要使用阳性形式:mon amie(而非 ma amie)。

Plural forms mes, tes, ses, nos, vos, leurs are invariable for gender.

复数形式 mes、tes、ses、nos、vos、leurs 不区分阴阳性。

11. Partitive Articles | 部分冠词

When referring to an unspecified quantity of something, French uses the partitive: du (m.), de la (f.), de l’ (before vowel), des (pl.). Think of it as ‘some’ or ‘any’.

指代不确定数量的事物时,法语使用部分冠词:du(阳)、de la(阴)、de l’(元音前)、des(复)。可理解为“一些”。

Je mange du pain. (I eat some bread.) Il boit de l’eau. (He drinks some water.) Nous avons des devoirs. (We have some homework.)

Je mange du pain.(我吃点面包。)Il boit de l’eau.(他喝点水。)Nous avons des devoirs.(我们有些作业。)

After a negative, partitive articles also reduce to de: Je ne mange pas de pain.

在否定句中,部分冠词同样简化为 de:Je ne mange pas de pain.

12. Key Number and Time Formulae | 基础数字与时间表达公式

Numbers 0–31 form the bedrock for telling time, giving dates and stating age. Learn them as a pattern: 0 zéro, 1 un, 2 deux, 3 trois, 4 quatre, 5 cinq, 6 six, 7 sept, 8 huit, 9 neuf, 10 dix, 11 onze, 12 douze, 13 treize, 14 quatorze, 15 quinze, 16 seize, 17 dix-sept, 18 dix-huit, 19 dix-neuf, 20 vingt, 21 vingt et un, 22 vingt-deux … 30 trente, 31 trente et un.

数字 0–31 是表达时间、日期和年龄的基石。请按规律记忆:0 zéro, 1 un, 2 deux, 3 trois, 4 quatre, 5 cinq, 6 six, 7 sept, 8 huit, 9 neuf, 10 dix, 11 onze, 12 douze, 13 treize, 14 quatorze, 15 quinze, 16 seize, 17 dix-sept, 18 dix-huit, 19 dix-neuf, 20 vingt, 21 vingt et un, 22 vingt-deux … 30 trente, 31 trente et un。

Telling the time formula: Il est + [hour] + heure(s) + optional minutes. Il est trois heures. (3:00) Il est trois heures dix. (3:10) For half past use et demie: Il est trois heures et demie. For quarter past use et quart: Il est trois heures et quart.

时间表达公式:Il est + [小时数] + heure(s) + 可选分钟。Il est trois heures.(3 点)Il est trois heures dix.(3:10)半点用 et demie:Il est trois heures et demie. 一刻用 et quart:Il est trois heures et quart.。

For midday and midnight, use midi and minuit: Il est midi. / Il est minuit.

正午和午夜分别用 midi 和 minuit:Il est midi. / Il est minuit.
