📚 Year 7 SQA French: Formula & Theorem Quick Reference Handbook | Year 7 SQA 法语:公式定理速查手册

Learning French in Year 7 is like discovering a new set of building blocks. Just as maths has formulas and science has laws, French has its own ‘formulas’ — verb patterns, sentence structures and agreement rules that let you generate correct sentences every time. This quick reference handbook brings together all the key formulas you need to memorise for the SQA course, presented in a clear, paired format so you can check, revise and test yourself.

在七年级学习法语就像发现一套新的积木。正如数学有公式、科学有定律,法语也有自己的“公式”——动词变化模式、句子结构和性数配合规则,让你每次都能生成正确的句子。这本速查手册汇集了 SQA 课程所需记住的所有关键公式,以清晰的中英对照形式呈现,方便你查阅、复习和自我测试。

1. Subject Pronouns – The Starter Formula | 人称代词 —— 起始公式

Every French sentence relies on a subject pronoun to tell you who is doing the action. Memorise this ‘pronoun grid’ as your first formula: je (I), tu (you, informal singular), il (he/it), elle (she/it), on (one/we informally), nous (we), vous (you, formal or plural), ils (they, masculine or mixed), elles (they, feminine). Note that ‘on’ often replaces ‘nous’ in spoken French but stays third-person singular in the formula.

每个法语句子都依赖人称代词来表明动作的发出者。将这个“代词表”作为你的第一个公式记牢:je(我)、tu(你,非正式单数)、il(他/它)、elle(她/它)、on(一个人/我们,口语中常用)、nous(我们)、vous(您/你们)、ils(他们,阳性或混合)、elles(她们,阴性)。注意,’on’ 在口语中经常代替 ‘nous’,但在公式中仍保持第三人称单数。

2. The Être Formula – To Be | Être 动词公式 —— “是”

The verb être (to be) is your most essential irregular verb. Its present-tense formula must be known by heart: je suis, tu es, il/elle/on est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils/elles sont. Use it to describe identity, nationality, profession and characteristics, e.g. Je suis écossais(e). (I am Scottish.) or Elle est grande. (She is tall.)

动词 être(是)是最重要的不规则动词。它的现在时公式必须烂熟于心:je suistu esil/elle/on estnous sommesvous êtesils/elles sont。用它来描述身份、国籍、职业和特征,例如 Je suis écossais(e).(我是苏格兰人。)或 Elle est grande.(她很高。)

3. The Avoir Formula – To Have | Avoir 动词公式 —— “有”

Equally important is the verb avoir (to have). Its present-tense pattern is irregular: j’ai, tu as, il/elle/on a, nous avons, vous avez, ils/elles ont. It expresses possession, age, and sensations. Age follows the formula [subject] + avoir + [number] + ans, e.g. J’ai douze ans. (I am twelve years old.)

同样重要的是动词 avoir(有)。它的现在时模式也不规则:j’aitu asil/elle/on anous avonsvous avezils/elles ont。它表示拥有、年龄和感受。年龄的表达遵循公式 [主语] + avoir + [数字] + ans,例如 J’ai douze ans.(我十二岁了。)

4. Regular -er Verb Formula – The Workhorse Pattern | 规则 -er 动词公式 —— 主力句型

Over 80% of French verbs end in -er and follow a regular conjugation formula. Take the infinitive, remove the -er to find the stem, then add these endings: -e (je), -es (tu), -e (il/elle/on), -ons (nous), -ez (vous), -ent (ils/elles). For the verb parler (to speak): je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. This formula works for aimer (to like), habiter (to live), jouer (to play) and hundreds more.

超过 80% 的法语动词以 -er 结尾,并遵循一个规则的变位公式。取动词原形,去掉 -er 得到词干,然后加上这些词尾:-e(je)、-es(tu)、-e(il/elle/on)、-ons(nous)、-ez(vous)、-ent(ils/elles)。以动词 parler(说话)为例:je parle, tu parles, il/elle/on parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. 这个公式适用于 aimer(喜欢)、habiter(居住)、jouer(玩耍)等数百个动词。

5. Definite and Indefinite Article Formulas | 定冠词与不定冠词公式

The article is a tiny word that carries big meaning. The definite articles (‘the’) must agree with the noun’s gender and number: le (masculine singular), la (feminine singular), l’ (before a vowel or silent h), les (plural). Indefinite articles (‘a/an/some’) follow: un (masculine singular), une (feminine singular), des (plural). Example: le garçon (the boy), une fille (a girl), des enfants (some children).

冠词虽小,意义却大。定冠词 (‘the’) 必须与名词的性和数配合:le(阳性单数)、la(阴性单数)、l’(在元音或不发音的 h 前)、les(复数)。不定冠词 (‘a/an/some’) 如下:un(阳性单数)、une(阴性单数)、des(复数)。例如:le garçon(男孩)、une fille(一个女孩)、des enfants(一些孩子)。

6. Noun Gender – The Classification Rule | 名词性别 —— 分类法则

Every French noun is either masculine or feminine, and this dictates the articles and adjectives you use. While there is no perfect formula, some endings give clues: nouns ending in -age, -eau, -ment are often masculine (e.g. fromage, château, bâtiment); nouns ending in -tion, -sion, -té, -ette are usually feminine (e.g. nation, télévision, liberté, baguette). Always learn the noun with its article, e.g. la table, le stylo.

每个法语名词要么阳性,要么阴性,这决定了你使用的冠词和形容词形式。虽然不存在完美的公式,但某些词尾可以提供线索:以 -age, -eau, -ment 结尾的名词常为阳性(如 fromage 奶酪、château 城堡、bâtiment 建筑);以 -tion, -sion, -té, -ette 结尾的名词通常为阴性(如 nation 国家、télévision 电视、liberté 自由、baguette 法棍)。务必连同冠词一起记忆名词,例如 la table(桌子)和 le stylo(笔)。

7. Adjective Agreement Formula | 形容词配合公式

French adjectives adjust their endings to match the noun they describe, following a predictable pattern. The base feminine formula adds -e to the masculine form (unless it already ends in -e). For plural, add -s to both masculine and feminine forms. Examples: un petit garçonune petite fille; des garçons intelligentsdes filles intelligentes. Position rule: most adjectives come after the noun, but BAGS adjectives (Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size) go before, e.g. une belle maison, un vieux livre.

法语形容词会根据所修饰的名词调整词尾,遵循一个可预测的模式。基本的阴性公式是在阳性形式后加 -e(除非原本就以 -e 结尾)。对于复数,阴阳性形式后都加 -s。例子:un petit garçon(一个矮小的男孩)→ une petite fille(一个矮小的女孩);des garçons intelligents(聪明的男孩们)→ des filles intelligentes.(聪明的女孩们)。位置规则:大多数形容词放在名词之后,但表示美丑、年龄、好坏、大小的 BAGS 形容词放在名词前,例如 une belle maison(一栋漂亮的房子)、un vieux livre(一本旧书)。

8. The Negative Formula – Ne … Pas | 否定公式 —— Ne … Pas

To make a sentence negative in French, place ne (or n’ before a vowel) before the conjugated verb and pas after it. This is the ‘negative sandwich’ formula. Statement: Je parle français. → Negative: Je ne parle pas français. With a vowel: Il a un chien.Il n’a pas de chien. Note that after a negative, un/une/des often become de (or d’).

在法语中构建否定句时,将 ne(或在元音前用 n’)放在变位动词之前,pas 放在之后。这就是“否定三明治”公式。肯定句:Je parle français.(我说法语。)→ 否定句:Je ne parle pas français.(我不说法语。)遇到元音时:Il a un chien.(他有一只狗。)→ Il n’a pas de chien.(他没有狗。)注意,在否定句中,un/une/des 通常变为 de(或 d’)。

9. Asking Questions – Three Quick Formulas | 提问方式 —— 三种快速公式

Year 7 learners can form questions using three simple structures. Formula 1: Raise intonation at the end of a statement: Tu aimes le sport? (You like sport?). Formula 2: Start with Est-ce que + statement: Est-ce que tu aimes le sport? Formula 3: Inversion (more formal): swap subject and verb with a hyphen: Aimes-tu le sport? For open questions, add a question word: (where), Quand (when), Comment (how), Pourquoi (why), Qu’est-ce que (what).

七年级学习者可以使用三种简单结构提问。公式 1:在陈述句末尾提高语调:Tu aimes le sport?(你喜欢运动吗?)。公式 2:用 Est-ce que 开头 + 陈述句:Est-ce que tu aimes le sport?。公式 3:主谓倒装(较正式):将主语和动词用连字符互换位置:Aimes-tu le sport?。对于开放式问题,加上疑问词:(哪里)、Quand(什么时候)、Comment(怎么样)、Pourquoi(为什么)、Qu’est-ce que(什么)。

10. The Date and Time Formula | 日期与时间表达公式

Telling the date follows a fixed pattern: C’est + day of the week + le + number + month. Days and months are not capitalised in French. Example: C’est lundi le 5 septembre. (It is Monday 5 September.) For time, the formula is: Il est + hour + heure(s) (+ minutes). Il est trois heures. (It is three o’clock.) Il est trois heures et demie. (It is half past three.) For minutes past use et; for minutes to use moins: Il est quatre heures moins le quart. (It is quarter to four.)

表达日期遵循一个固定模式:C’est + 星期几 + le + 数字 + 月份。星期和月份在法语中不大写。示例:C’est lundi le 5 septembre.(今天是 9 月 5 日星期一。)时间表达的公式为:Il est + 小时 + heure(s)(+ 分钟)。Il est trois heures.(现在是三点。)Il est trois heures et demie.(现在是三点半。)表示“过”用 et,表示“差”用 moinsIl est quatre heures moins le quart.(差一刻四点。)

11. Possessive Adjectives – The Owner Formula | 主有形容词 —— 所有者公式

Possessive adjectives in French must agree with the noun they describe (the thing owned), not the owner’s gender. The formula depends on the noun’s gender and number: for ‘my’, use mon (m. sing.), ma (f. sing.), mes (plural). Before a feminine noun starting with a vowel, use mon to avoid the sound clash: mon amie. The pattern repeats for ‘your’ (ton, ta, tes), ‘his/her’ (son, sa, ses), ‘our’ (notre, nos), ‘your’ plural/formal (votre, vos), ‘their’ (leur, leurs).

法语主有形容词必须与它们所修饰的名词(被拥有物)性数配合,而与所有者的性别无关。公式取决于名词的性和数:“我的”:mon(阳性单数)、ma(阴性单数)、mes(复数)。在以元音开头的阴性名词前,为避免语音冲突要使用 monmon amie(我的朋友)。这个模式也适用于“你的”(ton, ta, tes),“他/她的”(son, sa, ses),“我们的”(notre, nos),“你们的/您的”(votre, vos),“他们的”(leur, leurs)。

12. Survival Vocabulary Patterns – School, Family, Colours | 生存词汇速查 —— 学校、家庭、颜色

These high-frequency words follow their own logical groups. School bag formula: un stylo, un crayon, un cahier, un livre, une trousse, une gomme. Family tree: la mère, le père, la sœur, le frère, la grand-mère, le grand-père. Colour agreement formula: colours are adjectives and must agree — un chapeau vert but une robe verte; des yeux bleus (m. pl.), des chaussures bleues (f. pl.). Common greetings: Bonjour (Hello), Salut (Hi), Au revoir (Goodbye), Ça va? (How are things?), Comment tu t’appelles? (What’s your name?), Je m’appelle… (My name is…).

这些高频词汇遵循自己的逻辑分组。书包用品公式:un stylo(钢笔)、un crayon(铅笔)、un cahier(笔记本)、un livre(书)、une trousse(笔袋)、une gomme(橡皮)。家谱词汇:la mère(母亲)、le père(父亲)、la sœur(姐妹)、le frère(兄弟)、la grand-mère(祖母)、le grand-père(祖父)。颜色配合公式:颜色是形容词,必须配合 —— un chapeau vert(一顶绿帽子)但 une robe verte(一条绿裙子);des yeux bleus(蓝色眼睛,阳性复数),des chaussures bleues(蓝色鞋子,阴性复数)。常用问候语:Bonjour(你好)、Salut(嗨)、Au revoir(再见)、Ça va?(怎么样?)、Comment tu t’appelles?(你叫什么名字?)、Je m’appelle…(我叫……)。
