Year 9 WJEC German: Core Knowledge Review | Year 9 WJEC 德语:核心知识点梳理

📚 Year 9 WJEC German: Core Knowledge Review | Year 9 WJEC 德语:核心知识点梳理

Building a solid foundation in Year 9 German is vital for success at GCSE and beyond. This guide covers the essential grammar, vocabulary and structures you will encounter in the WJEC syllabus, from personal pronouns to future time phrases. Use it to consolidate your learning and boost your confidence in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

在 Year 9 阶段打下扎实的德语基础,对于 GCSE 乃至更高级别的学习至关重要。本指南梳理了 WJEC 课程大纲中的核心语法、词汇与句型结构,从人称代词到将来时表达一应俱全。用它来巩固所学,提升你在听、说、读、写四个方面的信心。

1. Personal Pronouns & Present Tense Verb Conjugation | 人称代词与现在时动词变位

All German verbs follow a set pattern in the present tense. First, you need to know the personal pronouns: ich (I), du (you – singular informal), er/sie/es (he/she/it), wir (we), ihr (you – plural informal), sie/Sie (they/you – formal). Remove the -en from the infinitive to find the stem, then add the correct ending.

所有德语动词现在时变位都遵循一定规律。首先你得熟悉人称代词:ich(我)、du(你 – 单数非正式)、er/sie/es(他/她/它)、wir(我们)、ihr(你们 – 复数非正式)、sie/Sie(他们/您/您们)。去掉动词不定式的 -en 得到词干,然后加上相应的词尾。

Pronoun spielen (to play) Ending
ich spiele -e
du spielst -st
er/sie/es spielt -t
wir spielen -en
ihr spielt -t
sie/Sie spielen -en

Watch out for stem changes in strong verbs, e.g. lesen: du liest, er liest. Always learn the du and er forms alongside the infinitive.

注意强势动词的元音变化,比如 lesen(阅读):du liest, er liest。学习动词时,务必连同 du 和 er 的形式一并记忆。

2. The Verbs ‘sein’ and ‘haben’ | 动词 sein 和 haben

Sein (to be) and haben (to have) are irregular but fundamental. You use them constantly for describing, possessing and forming the past tense later on. Their present-tense forms must be memorised thoroughly.

sein(是)和 haben(有)虽然变形不规则,却是基石。你不仅用它们描述状态、表达所属,将来还要用它们构成过去时态。现在时形式必须牢牢记住。

Pronoun sein haben
ich bin habe
du bist hast
er/sie/es ist hat
wir sind haben
ihr seid habt
sie/Sie sind haben

Example: Ich bin 14 Jahre alt und habe einen Bruder. (I am 14 years old and have a brother.) The verb always comes second in a main clause.

例句:Ich bin 14 Jahre alt und habe einen Bruder.(我 14 岁,有一个兄弟。)注意在主句中动词始终位于第二位。

3. Nouns, Gender and Articles | 名词、词性与冠词

Every German noun has a gender: masculine (der), feminine (die) or neuter (das). In Year 9 you also start using the plural article die. Always learn the article with the noun – it affects adjective endings, pronouns and case endings later.

每个德语名词都有词性:阳性(der)、阴性(die)或中性(das)。Year 9 阶段你还会开始使用复数冠词 die。学习名词时必须连同冠词一起记,因为它将影响形容词词尾、代词和格变化。

The indefinite article (a/an) follows the same gender pattern: ein (masculine/neuter), eine (feminine). For plural, use keine (negative) or omit the article: Kinder spielen gern.

不定冠词按照同样词性变化:ein(阳性/中性),eine(阴性)。复数否定用 keine,复数泛指则可以省略冠词,如 Kinder spielen gern(孩子们喜欢玩)。

  • der Tisch (table – masculine)
  • die Lampe (lamp – feminine)
  • das Buch (book – neuter)
  • die Tische (tables – plural)

4. The Accusative Case | 宾格(第四格)

The accusative case is used for direct objects and after certain prepositions. In Year 9, you mainly need to change the masculine articles: der becomes den, ein becomes einen. Feminine, neuter and plural articles stay the same.

宾格用于直接宾语以及某些介词之后。Year 9 阶段主要掌握阳性冠词的变化:der 变成 den,ein 变成 einen。阴性、中性和复数冠词保持不变。

Compare: Das ist der Hund. (Nominative) → Ich sehe den Hund. (Accusative). Personal pronouns also change: ich → mich, du → dich, er → ihn, sie → sie, es → es, wir → uns, ihr → euch, sie/Sie → sie/Sie.

对比:Das ist der Hund.(主格)→ Ich sehe den Hund.(宾格)。人称代词在宾格中也发生变化:ich → mich,du → dich,er → ihn 等等。

5. Modal Verbs: können, müssen, wollen | 情态动词:können, müssen, wollen

Modal verbs express ability, necessity or desire. The three most common at Year 9 are können (can), müssen (must/have to) and wollen (want to). They are followed by an infinitive, which is pushed to the end of the clause.

情态动词用来表达能力、义务或意愿。Year 9 最常用的三个是 können(能、会)、müssen(必须)和 wollen(想要)。它们后面跟动词原形,且该动词原形会被放到句末。

Ich kann gut schwimmen. (I can swim well.) Wir müssen Hausaufgaben machen. (We must do homework.) Sie will ins Kino gehen. (She wants to go to the cinema.) Note the vowel changes: können → du kannst, er kann; müssen → du musst, er muss; wollen → du willst, er will.

例句:Ich kann gut schwimmen.(我游泳很好。)Wir müssen Hausaufgaben machen.(我们必须做作业。)注意它们的词干变化:können → du kannst, er kann;müssen → du musst, er muss;wollen → du willst, er will。

6. Word Order: Main Clauses and Inversion | 语序:主句与倒装

The golden rule in German main clauses is “verb second”. The conjugated verb must be the second idea, even if the first idea is not the subject. This is called inversion and is often tested in WJEC writing tasks.

德语主句的黄金法则是“动词二位”。变位动词必须是第二成分,即便首位不是主语也同样适用。这称为倒装句,是 WJEC 写作任务里经常考查的难点。

Normal order: Ich spiele am Wochenende Fußball. (I play football at the weekend.) Inverted: Am Wochenende spiele ich Fußball. The verb stays second. Time phrases often trigger inversion, such as manchmal, normalerweise, am Montag.

正常语序:Ich spiele am Wochenende Fußball. 倒装后:Am Wochenende spiele ich Fußball.(周末我踢足球。)动词仍居第二位。常用触发倒装的时间状语还有 manchmal(有时)、normalerweise(通常)、am Montag(在星期一)。

7. Forming Questions | 形成疑问句

You can ask questions in two ways: yes/no questions by placing the verb first, and w-questions using a question word. The WJEC speaking exam expects accurate question formation.

提问有两种方式:一般疑问句直接将动词提至首位,特殊疑问句则使用疑问词。WJEC 口语考试期望你能够准确构造问句。

Yes/no: Hast du Geschwister? (Do you have siblings?) Spielst du gern Tennis? W-words: wer (who), was (what), wo (where), wann (when), warum (why), wie (how), wie viel (how much). The verb still comes second after the question word: Wie heißt du?

一般疑问句:Hast du Geschwister?(你有兄弟姐妹吗?)特殊疑问词:wer, was, wo, wann, warum, wie, wie viel。疑问词后动词同样居第二位:Wie heißt du?(你叫什么名字?)

8. Describing Yourself and Others (Adjectives) | 描述自己与他人(形容词)

In Year 9 you should be able to describe appearance, personality and feelings using adjectives. When an adjective comes before a noun, it takes an ending that depends on the article and case. However, after the verb sein the adjective does not change.

Year 9 阶段你需要会用形容词描述外貌、性格和感受。当形容词位于名词前时,需要根据冠词和格添加相应词尾。但是,当形容词跟在动词 sein 之后作表语时,无需变化。

Predicate use: Mein Bruder ist groß und lustig. (My brother is tall and funny.) Attributive with indefinite article: ein netter Freund (a nice friend), eine nette Lehrerin, ein nettes Mädchen. The ending is -er for masculine, -e for feminine, -es for neuter.

表语用法:Mein Bruder ist groß und lustig. 定语用法(带不定冠词):ein netter Freund(一位友好的朋友 – 阳性),eine nette Lehrerin(阴性),ein nettes Mädchen(中性)。形容词加在不定冠词后的词尾分别是 -er, -e, -es。

9. Time, Dates and Numbers | 时间、日期与数字

Telling the time and giving dates are essential for the WJEC speaking and writing tasks. Learn numbers confidently up to 100, plus the ordinals for dates. Time uses the 24‑hour clock in formal German.

报时和表达日期对于 WJEC 口语和写作任务至关重要。熟练记忆 100 以内的数字,以及序数词来表达日期。正式德语中常使用 24 小时制。

Uhrzeit: Wie spät ist es? Es ist zehn Uhr (10:00), halb drei (2:30), Viertel vor vier (3:45). Dates use am + ordinal + month: Ich habe am fünften März Geburtstag. Days of the week: Montag, Dienstag, Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag, Samstag/Sonnabend, Sonntag.

时间:Wie spät ist es? 回答 Es ist zehn Uhr (10:00),halb drei (两点半),Viertel vor vier (3:45)。日期用 am + 序数词 + 月份:Ich habe am fünften März Geburtstag.(我 3 月 5 号生日。)星期:Montag, Dienstag, Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag, Samstag/Sonnabend, Sonntag。

10. Key Vocabulary: School and Hobbies | 核心词汇:学校与爱好

WJEC Year 9 topics typically include school subjects, opinions and free-time activities. You should be able to give justified opinions using gern, lieber, am liebsten, and weil/denn clauses.

WJEC Year 9 的话题通常涵盖学校科目、表达看法以及课余活动。你需要能用 gern、lieber、am liebsten 以及 weil/denn 从句给出带理由的评价。

School: Schulfächer – Mathe, Englisch, Deutsch, Naturwissenschaften, Geschichte, Erdkunde, Kunst, Sport.

爱好:Ich spiele Klavier, ich gehe schwimmen, ich treffe mich mit Freunden.

11. Using Prepositions with the Dative | 使用与格介词

Certain prepositions always take the dative case. The most frequent ones in Year 9 are mit (with), zu (to/at – places), nach (to – countries/towns), von (from), bei (at the house of), aus (from/out of). After these prepositions, articles and pronouns change.

Er kommt aus der Schweiz.(他来自瑞士。)

12. Expressing the Future | 表达将来时

In Year 9, you do not need the full future perfect, but you should be able to talk about future plans. German often uses the present tense with a time phrase. The construction with werden is also introduced at this level.

Year 9 阶段不需要掌握将来完成时,但应学会谈论未来计划。德语经常用现在时搭配表示将来的时间状语来表达。werden 结构也在这个阶段引入。

Present as future: Morgen gehe ich ins Kino. Nächstes Jahr fahren wir nach Berlin. With werden: Ich werde mehr Sport treiben. (I will do more sport.) The infinitive goes to the end. Remember these phrases: in der Zukunft (in the future), später (later), am nächsten Wochenende (next weekend).

现在时代替将来:Morgen gehe ich ins Kino.(明天我要去看电影。)Nächstes Jahr fahren wir nach Berlin.(明年我们去柏林。)用 werden:Ich werde mehr Sport treiben.(我会多运动。)带 werden 时,动词原形放句末。常用时间短语:in der Zukunft, später, am nächsten Wochenende。
