📚 Year 10 AQA French High-Frequency Topics & Common Mistakes | Year 10 AQA 法语:高频考点与易错题分析

Year 10 is a critical stage for building a solid foundation in AQA GCSE French. The exam assesses Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, with questions often designed around recurring themes and specific grammar points. This article identifies the high-frequency topics that appear year after year, alongside the most common mistakes students make, helping you refine your revision and boost exam performance.

Year 10 是为 AQA GCSE 法语打下坚实基础的关键阶段。考试通过听、说、读、写四个部分进行评估,题目往往围绕反复出现的主题和特定语法点设计。本文梳理了历年高频考点以及学生最常犯的错误,帮助你有针对性地复习,提升考试成绩。

1. Present Tense Regular -er Verbs | 现在时规则 -er 动词

Regular -er verbs like parler (to speak), regarder (to watch), and habiter (to live) form the backbone of the present tense. Students must know the endings: -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. The exam often embeds these verbs in reading and listening tasks where the stem is disguised by a different subject.

像 parler(说话)、regarder(看)和 habiter(居住)这样的规则 -er 动词构成了现在时的基础。学生必须掌握词尾:-e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent。考试常在阅读和听力任务中植入这些动词,且词干会因主语不同而发生变化。

Many candidates forget to drop the final -s with je, producing je parles instead of je parle. This is consistently penalised in the writing paper.

很多考生在使用 je 时会忘记去掉词尾的 -s,写成 je parles 而不是正确的 je parle。这在写作部分会反复被扣分。

High-frequency verbs like jouer (to play) and aimer (to like/love) often appear in paired activities: j’aime jouer au foot. The second verb stays in the infinitive after aimer.

像 jouer(玩)和 aimer(喜欢)这样的高频动词常出现在组合活动中:j’aime jouer au foot。在 aimer 后面,第二个动词要用不定式。

2. Key Irregular Verbs: avoir, être, aller, faire | 关键不规则动词

The four auxiliary and semi-auxiliary verbs avoir (to have), être (to be), aller (to go), and faire (to do/make) are tested in almost every paper. Their present tense forms must be automatic: j’ai, tu as, il a, nous avons, vous avez, ils ont; je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils sont; je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont; je fais, tu fais, il fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils font.

四大助动词和半助动词 avoir(有)、être(是)、aller(去)和 faire(做)几乎在每张试卷中都会考查。它们的现在时变化必须熟练到自动反应:j’ai, tu as, il a, nous avons, vous avez, ils ont;je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils sont;je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont;je fais, tu fais, il fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils font。

Common error: confusing ils ont (they have) with ils sont (they are). In listening, the liaison in ils ont sounds like the ‘z’ but does not mean they are. Context is everything.

常见错误:混淆 ils ont(他们有)和 ils sont(他们是)。在听力中,ils ont 的连音听起来像 ‘z’,但表达的意思是“他们有”,并非“他们是”。语境至关重要。

The verb faire is used in many idiomatic expressions: faire du sport, faire attention, faire les devoirs. Writing tasks frequently assess je fais de la natation rather than the incorrect je fais la natation.

faire 用于许多固定表达:faire du sport、faire attention、faire les devoirs。写作任务常会考查 je fais de la natation 而非错误的 je fais la natation。

3. Gender of Nouns and Articles | 名词的性和冠词

Every French noun has a gender: masculine or feminine. This determines the form of definite articles (le, la, l’, les) and indefinite articles (un, une, des). AQA mark schemes penalise incorrect gender agreement heavily in the writing and speaking components.

每个法语名词都有阴阳性之分,这决定了定冠词(le, la, l’, les)和不定冠词(un, une, des)的形式。AQA 评分标准在写作和口语部分对性数配合错误的扣分很重。

High-frequency feminine nouns often end in -tion, -sion, -té, -ette, -ence, -ance: la nation, la télévision, la liberté, la baguette, la patience. Masculine nouns frequently end in -age, -ment, -eau, -isme: le fromage, le gouvernement, le château, le tourisme.

高频阴性名词通常以 -tion, -sion, -té, -ette, -ence, -ance 结尾:la nation, la télévision, la liberté, la baguette, la patience。阳性名词常以 -age, -ment, -eau, -isme 结尾:le fromage, le gouvernement, le château, le tourisme。

Partitive articles (du, de la, de l’, des) cause persistent problems. After a negative, they become de or d’: je mange du pain → je ne mange pas de pain. After expressions of quantity like beaucoup de, un peu de, use de without the article.

部分冠词(du, de la, de l’, des)一直是个难点。在否定句中,它们要变成 de 或 d’:je mange du pain → je ne mange pas de pain。在数量表达后面如 beaucoup de、un peu de,直接用 de,不加冠词。

4. Adjective Agreement and Position | 形容词的性数配合与位置

Adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. Most add -e for feminine and -s for plural. Irregular adjectives like beau/belle, vieux/vieille, bon/bonne appear frequently in reading gap‑fill exercises.

形容词要与它所修饰的名词在性和数上保持一致。大多数情况下,阴性加 -e,复数加 -s。不规则形容词如 beau/belle、vieux/vieille、bon/bonne 经常出现在阅读填空题中。

Common mistake: forgetting that some adjectives precede the noun, especially those concerning beauty, age, goodness, and size (BAGS): une belle maison, un vieil homme, une bonne idée, un petit problème. Students often write une maison belle because they blindly apply the rule that adjectives come after the noun.

常见错误:忘记了一些形容词要放在名词前面,特别是涉及美丑、年龄、好坏、大小的 BAGS 形容词:une belle maison、un vieil homme、une bonne idée、un petit problème。学生常常写成 une maison belle,因为他们机械地套用形容词后置的规则。

When an adjective modifies a plural noun, the plural -s is added regardless of gender, but be aware that most adjectives ending in -al have a masculine plural in -aux: les journaux internationaux.

当形容词修饰复数名词时,不论阴阳性都要加复数 -s,但要留意以 -al 结尾的形容词,其阳性复数通常变为 -aux:les journaux internationaux。

5. The Perfect Tense (passé composé) | 复合过去时

The perfect tense is the most tested past tense. It is formed with the present tense of avoir or être plus the past participle. AQA requires candidates to form it correctly in both writing and speaking role-plays.

复合过去时是考查最多的过去时态,由 avoir 或 être 的现在时加过去分词构成。AQA 要求考生在写作和口语角色扮演中都能正确运用。

The maison d’être (DR & MRS VANDERTRAMP) verbs use être, and the past participle must agree with the subject: elle est allée, ils sont partis, nous sommes restés. This agreement is often forgotten.

以 être 为助动词的移动动词(常称“être 之家”或 DR & MRS VANDERTRAMP)要求过去分词与主语性数一致:elle est allée、ils sont partis、nous sommes restés。这种配合经常被忘记。

With avoir, the past participle agrees with a preceding direct object only: la pomme que j’ai mangée. In the ordinary perfect tense without a preceding direct object, the past participle remains invariable: j’ai mangé une pomme.

与 avoir 搭配时,过去分词只与前置的直接宾语性数配合:la pomme que j’ai mangée。在普通复合过去时中,如果没有前置直接宾语,过去分词保持不变:j’ai mangé une pomme。

6. The Near and Simple Future Tenses | 最近将来时与简单将来时

Year 10 students must handle two future forms: the futur proche (aller + infinitive) and the futur simple. The near future is tested more at this level, but higher-tier writing often rewards the simple future.

Year 10 学生必须掌握两种将来时形式:最近将来时(aller + 不定式)和简单将来时。在这个阶段最近将来时考查更多,但在高等级写作中使用简单将来时常会加分。

Forming the futur simple requires adding endings -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont to the infinitive (or irregular stem). Common irregular stems include: être → ser-, avoir → aur-, aller → ir-, faire → fer-, pouvoir → pourr-.

简单将来时的构成是在动词不定式(或不规则词干)后加词尾 -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont。常见不规则词干包括:être → ser-、avoir → aur-、aller → ir-、faire → fer-、pouvoir → pourr-。

Confusing je vais jouer (near future) with je jouerai (simple future) can lead to meaning errors in reading comprehension. The near future implies imminence, while the simple future expresses a more general future.

混淆 je vais jouer(最近将来时)和 je jouerai(简单将来时)会在阅读理解中导致意义错误。最近将来时表示即将发生的动作,简单将来时则表达更宽泛的将来。

7. Imperfect Tense for Description in the Past | 用于过去描写的未完成过去时

The imperfect tense (l’imparfait) is used for describing ongoing states, habitual actions, and background circumstances in the past. Formed by taking the nous form of the present tense, dropping -ons, and adding -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient. The only exception is être, which uses ét- as the stem.

未完成过去时(l’imparfait)用于描述过去持续的状态、习惯性动作和背景情况。构成方法是取现在时 nous 的词干,去掉 -ons 后加词尾 -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient。唯一的例外是 être,它以 ét- 为词干。

In narrative writing, students often switch incorrectly between the perfect and imperfect. The perfect tense marks completed, one-off actions; the imperfect sets the scene. Il pleuvait quand je suis sorti shows the correct contrast.

在叙事写作中,学生经常错误地在复合过去时和未完成过去时之间切换。复合过去时表示完成的、一次性的动作;未完成过去时设置场景。Il pleuvait quand je suis sorti 正确展示了这种对比。

Signal words like toujours, souvent, d’habitude in the past strongly suggest the imperfect. For example, Quand j’étais petit, je jouais souvent au parc.

表示过去的时间标志词,如 toujours、souvent、d’habitude,强烈暗示要用未完成过去时。例如,Quand j’étais petit, je jouais souvent au parc。

8. Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns | 直接宾语代词与间接宾语代词

Object pronouns replace nouns to avoid repetition. Direct object pronouns (me, te, le/la, nous, vous, les) answer whom? or what?. Indirect object pronouns (me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur) answer to whom?. Their placement is before the conjugated verb, and in the perfect tense before the auxiliary.

宾语代词用来替代名词,以避免重复。直接宾语代词(me, te, le/la, nous, vous, les)回答“谁?”或“什么?”。间接宾语代词(me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur)回答“给谁?”。它们的位置在变位动词之前,在复合过去时中放在助动词之前。

AQA writing tasks frequently require combining two pronouns. The order is: me, te, nous, vous → le, la, les → lui, leur → y → en. For example, Je le lui ai donné (I gave it to him). This sequence is commonly misordered.

AQA 写作任务经常需要组合两个代词。顺序为:me, te, nous, vous → le, la, les → lui, leur → y → en。例如 Je le lui ai donné(我把它给了他)。这个顺序经常被搞错。

The pronouns y (there) and en (of it/them, some) replace places and quantities respectively. Je vais à Paris → J’y vais. J’ai trois frères → J’en ai trois. These small words carry large weight in the exam.

代词 y(那里)和 en(一些)分别替代地点和数量。Je vais à Paris → J’y vais。J’ai trois frères → J’en ai trois。这些小词在考试中分量很重。

9. Negation: Complex Forms Beyond ne…pas | 否定式:进阶否定结构

Beyond ne…pas, the exam expects candidates to use ne…jamais (never), ne…rien (nothing), ne…personne (nobody), ne…plus (no longer), and ne…que (only). The position of the second part of the negation varies: rien and personne can appear after the past participle or infinitive, e.g., Je n’ai rien vu.

除了 ne…pas,考试还要求考生使用 ne…jamais(从不)、ne…rien(没什么)、ne…personne(没人)、ne…plus(不再)和 ne…que(仅仅)。否定结构的第二部分位置有讲究:rien 和 personne 可能出现在过去分词或不定式之后,例如 Je n’ai rien vu。

In compound tenses, jamais, pas, plus surround the auxiliary verb: je n’ai pas mangé. But personne follows the past participle: je n’ai vu personne. Mixing up these positions is a classic trap.

在复合时态中,jamais、pas、plus 包围助动词:je n’ai pas mangé。但 personne 则放在过去分词之后:je n’ai vu personne。混淆这些位置是经典的陷阱。

Ne…que is a restrictive form meaning “only”. It is placed like ne…pas: je n’ai que dix euros. Many students incorrectly add seulement as well, creating a double restriction.

Ne…que 是一种限制性形式,意为“仅仅”。它的位置与 ne…pas 相似:je n’ai que dix euros。许多学生错误地再加一个 seulement,造成双重限制。

10. The Comparative and Superlative | 比较级与最高级

Comparatives are formed with plus/moins/aussi + adjective + que. Irregulars: bon → meilleur, bien → mieux, mauvais → pire. The superlative uses le/la/les plus + adjective or le/la/les moins + adjective. These appear in describing photos, comparing people, and expressing preferences.

比较级由 plus/moins/aussi + 形容词 + que 构成。不规则形式:bon → meilleur、bien → mieux、mauvais → pire。最高级使用 le/la/les plus + 形容词 或 le/la/les moins + 形容词。这些结构在描述图片、比较人物和表达偏好时出现。

Typical error: using plus bon instead of meilleur. The correct form is Ce film est meilleur que l’autre. Also, with adverbs, bien requires mieux: Elle chante mieux que moi.

典型错误:使用 plus bon 而不是 meilleur。正确的形式是 Ce film est meilleur que l’autre。此外,在副词比较中,bien 要用 mieux:Elle chante mieux que moi。

In the superlative, the adjective must still agree with the noun: la plus belle ville, les plus grands magasins. The position of the adjective can change the meaning or acceptability, especially with BAGS adjectives.

在最高级中,形容词仍需与名词性数配合:la plus belle ville、les plus grands magasins。形容词的位置可能会影响意义或可接受性,尤其是 BAGS 形容词。

11. Relative Pronouns qui, que, dont, où | 关系代词

Relative pronouns link clauses and are indispensable for higher-level writing. Qui is the subject (who, which, that); que is the direct object (whom, which, that). Dont replaces de + noun (whose, of which); où refers to a place or time (where, when).

关系代词连接从句,是高阶写作中不可或缺的。 qui 作主语(谁、哪个);que 作直接宾语(谁、哪个)。dont 替代 de + 名词(相当于“……的”);où 指地点或时间(哪里、何时)。

Distinguishing qui and que causes many mistakes. If the verb after the relative pronoun already has a subject, you need que: le livre que j’ai lu (the book that I read). Here, j’ is the subject, so que is the object. Students often wrongly write le livre qui j’ai lu.

区分 qui 和 que 造成很多错误。如果关系代词后面的动词已经有主语,就要用 que:le livre que j’ai lu(我读的那本书)。这里 j’ 是主语,所以 que 是宾语。学生常常错误地写成 le livre qui j’ai lu。

Dont is required when the verb or expression is followed by de: avoir besoin de → le stylo dont j’ai besoin, parler de → le film dont je parle. Forgetting dont and using que leads to loss of marks in translation.

当动词或表达后面跟着 de 时,必须使用 dont:avoir besoin de → le stylo dont j’ai besoin, parler de → le film dont je parle。忘记 dont 而使用 que 会在翻译题中失分。

12. Common Vocabulary Themes and False Friends | 高频主题词汇与假朋友

AQA organises its specification around three broad themes: Identity and Culture, Local, National, International and Global Areas of Interest, and Current and Future Study and Employment. Within these, topics like family, free time, home town, environment, and school life dominate the papers. Mastering core vocabulary for each topic is essential.

AQA 按三大主题组织考纲:身份与文化;本地、国家、国际及全球性兴趣领域;当下与未来的学习与就业。在这些主题中,家庭、休闲、家乡、环境、校园生活等内容占据了试卷。掌握每个主题的核心词汇至关重要。

False friends trap many candidates. Actuellement means “currently”, not “actually”. Assister à means “to attend”, not “to assist”. Une librairie is a bookshop, not a library (une bibliothèque). Such distinctions are tested in reading and listening multiple-choice questions.

假朋友(形似义异的词)让很多考生掉进陷阱。Actuellement 意为“目前”,而不是“实际上”。Assister à 意为“参加”,而不是“协助”。Une librairie 是书店,不是图书馆(une bibliothèque)。这些区别常在阅读和听力的选择题中考查。

High-frequency expressions like avoir envie de (to feel like), il faut (it is necessary), and être en train de (to be in the process of) are used to add sophistication and are often rewarded in the 32-mark writing question, provided they are used accurately.

像 avoir envie de(想要)、il faut(必须)和 être en train de(正在做)这样的高频表达能增加语言复杂度,且只要使用准确,在 32 分写作题中常会获得加分。
