📚 KS3 CIE German: Case Study Practice & Analysis | KS3 CIE 德语:案例分析实战演练

Case study practice is one of the most effective ways to prepare for the KS3 CIE German examination. By working through realistic dialogues and everyday scenarios, you not only memorise words but also learn how the language works in context. This article presents two full case studies, each followed by a detailed breakdown of grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure. You will find clear explanations paired with hands-on exercises that train your reading, writing and thinking skills – exactly what you need to feel confident on test day.

案例分析练习是备考 KS3 CIE 德语考试最有效的方法之一。通过真实对话和日常情景训练,你不仅是在背单词,更是在语境中理解语言的运作方式。本文提供两个完整的案例,每个案例后都配有语法、词汇和句型的细致拆解。你会看到清晰的讲解与动手练习交替出现,全面锻炼阅读、写作和思维能力——这正是你在考试中需要的那份自信。

1. Case Study Introduction | 案例分析简介

In KS3 CIE German, you are expected to handle short conversations and written exchanges on familiar topics such as greetings, family, school, food and free time. A case study takes one such situation and examines it layer by layer: the words chosen, the way verbs change, how articles match nouns, and why the sentence order is the way it is. This method trains you to spot patterns quickly, which is a huge advantage in the listening and reading papers.

在 KS3 CIE 德语中,你需要处理关于问候、家庭、学校、食物和空闲时间等熟悉话题的简短对话与书面交流。案例分析就是把这样一个情景拆开逐层观察:选用了什么词,动词如何变化,冠词如何与名词搭配,为什么语序要那样安排。这个方法能训练你快速识别规律,在听力和阅读考试中占有很大优势。

We will work with two everyday moments: meeting someone new and buying food in the school canteen. For each, you will see the full dialogue in German, then an English version, followed by targeted grammar analysis and vocabulary tables. Wherever possible, look at the German sentence first, try to understand it, and then check the translation. Active engagement makes the structures stick.

我们将围绕两个日常瞬间展开:结识新朋友和在学校食堂购买食物。每个案例你都会先看到完整的德语对话,然后是英语译文,紧接着是针对性语法分析和词汇表格。只要有可能,先看德语句子,尝试理解,再查看翻译。主动参与能让结构牢牢印在脑海里。

2. Case 1: Greetings & Introductions Dialogue | 案例一:问候与介绍对话

Dialogue:
Anna: Hallo! Ich heiße Anna. Wie heißt du?
Ben: Guten Tag! Ich heiße Ben. Freut mich.
Anna: Mich auch. Wie geht es dir?
Ben: Es geht mir gut, danke. Und dir?
Anna: Sehr gut. Bist du neu hier?
Ben: Ja, ich bin in Klasse 7b. Und du?
Anna: Ich bin in der 7a. Kommst du mit ins Klassenzimmer?
Ben: Ja, gern.

对话:
安娜:你好!我叫安娜,你叫什么?
本:你好!我叫本。很高兴认识你。
安娜:我也是。你好吗?
本:我很好,谢谢。你呢?
安娜:非常好。你是新来的吗?
本:对,我在7b班。你呢?
安娜:我在7a班。你一起去教室吗?
本:好的,很乐意。

This is a typical first-meeting conversation between two school students. It contains greetings, introductions, expressions of well-being and a simple invitation. Many of the words will already feel familiar. Pay attention to the verbs heißen, sein and kommen, as well as the question words wie and wo.

这是两名学校学生之间典型的初次见面对话。包含问候、自我介绍、询问身体状况和简单的邀请。很多词你应该已经感到熟悉。请重点关注动词 heißen、sein 和 kommen,以及疑问词 wie 和 wo。

3. Analysing Case 1: Key Verbs & Pronouns | 分析案例一:关键动词与代词

German sentences are built around the verb. In the dialogue, ‘Ich heiße Anna’ uses the verb heißen (to be called). The subject is ich (I), so the verb takes the ending -e: heiße. Similarly, ‘du heißt’ uses -t. The personal pronouns here are: ich, du (you, informal singular), er/sie/es (he/she/it). When talking to an adult or stranger you would use Sie (formal you), but between friends ‘du’ is used.

德语的句子是围绕动词构建的。对话中“Ich heiße Anna”使用了动词 heißen。主语是 ich,所以动词词尾为 -e:heiße。同样,“du heißt”用的是 -t。这里的人称代词有:ich, du, er/sie/es。与成年人或陌生人说话时会用 Sie(您),而朋友之间用 du。

The verb sein (to be) is irregular: ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist. In ‘Bist du neu hier?’ we see the du-form bist at the start of a yes/no question. Notice the verb comes first in such questions, before the subject.

动词 sein 是不规则变化:ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist。在“Bist du neu hier?”中,我们看到了 du 的形式 bist 放在一般疑问句句首。注意在这类问句中动词位于主语之前。

Another useful verb is kommen (to come): ich komme, du kommst, er kommt. ‘Kommst du mit?’ uses a separable prefix mit (along). In questions, the prefix stays at the end – a pattern that appears again and again.

另一个实用动词是 kommen:ich komme, du kommst, er kommt。“Kommst du mit?”使用了可分前缀 mit。在问句中前缀留在句末——这个句型会反复出现。

4. Grammar in Action: Present Tense Conjugation | 语法实战:现在时变位

To use any regular (weak) German verb in the present tense, take the stem and add these endings:

要使用任何规则(弱变化)德语动词的现在时,取词干并添加以下词尾:

Person Pronoun Ending spielen (to play)
1st singular ich -e spiele
2nd singular (informal) du -st spielst
3rd singular er/sie/es -t spielt
1st plural wir -en spielen
2nd plural (informal) ihr -t spielt
3rd plural / formal sie / Sie -en spielen

Memorising this table will unlock hundreds of verbs. When the stem ends in -t or -d (e.g. arbeiten, to work), an extra -e- is inserted before the -st and -t endings to keep pronunciation smooth: du arbeitest, er arbeitet.

记住这张表就能解锁数百个动词。当词干以 -t 或 -d 结尾时(例如 arbeiten),要在 -st 和 -t 词尾前插入一个 -e- 以保持发音顺畅:du arbeitest, er arbeitet。

The verb heißen has the stem heiß-, so it follows the pattern: ich heiße, du heißt, er heißt. However, note that the ß already contains an s-sound, so the du-form does not add an extra s: it is du heißt, not du heißst.

动词 heißen 的词干是 heiß-,因此遵循规则:ich heiße, du heißt, er heißt。不过要注意 ß 本身已经包含 s 音,所以 du 的形式不再额外添加 s,是 du heißt,而不是 du heißst。

5. Vocabulary Expansion: Greetings & Feelings | 词汇扩展:问候与感受

Building a rich bank of greeting phrases will make your spoken and written German sound more natural. Here are some alternatives to ‘Hallo’ and ways to say how you feel.

积累丰富的问候语库能让你的德语口语和书面语更自然。下面是一些“Hallo”的替代说法以及表达感受的方式。

German English 中文
Guten Morgen Good morning 早上好
Guten Tag Good day 你好
Guten Abend Good evening 晚上好
Tschüss Bye 再见
Auf Wiedersehen Goodbye (formal) 再见(正式)
Es geht mir gut I am fine 我很好
Es geht So-so / OK 还行
Nicht so gut Not so good 不太好
Müde Tired

Try to use these in short conversations with a partner. The more you practise, the quicker they will come to you during the exam.

试着在两人对话中使用这些表达。练习得越多,考试时就能越快想起来。

6. Case 2: In the School Canteen Dialogue | 案例二:在学校食堂对话

Dialogue:
Lena: Hallo, ich möchte bitte ein Brötchen mit Käse.
Server: Möchtest du auch etwas zu trinken?
Lena: Ja, einen Orangensaft, bitte.
Server: Groß oder klein?
Lena: Klein, bitte. Was kostet das zusammen?
Server: Das macht zwei Euro fünfzig. Hast du eine Karte?
Lena: Nein, ich bezahle bar.
Server: Danke. Guten Appetit!

对话:
莱娜:你好,我想要一个加奶酪的小面包。
服务员:你还要点什么喝的吗?
莱娜:要,一杯橙汁,谢谢。
服务员:大杯还是小杯?
莱娜:小杯,谢谢。一共多少钱?
服务员:一共两欧五十欧分。你有卡吗?
莱娜:没有,我付现金。
服务员:谢谢。祝你好胃口!

This is a classic ordering scene. Besides food vocabulary, you see noun gender in action: ein Brötchen (neuter, nominative), einen Orangensaft (masculine, accusative). The case change after the verb ‘möchten’ is one of the most important grammar points at this level.

这是一个典型的点餐场景。除了食物词汇,你还看到名词性别的实际运用:ein Brötchen(中性,第一格),einen Orangensaft(阳性,第四格)。动词 möchten 后发生的格的变化是这个阶段最重要的语法点之一。

7. Analysing Case 2: Gender, Case & Articles | 分析案例二:性、格与冠词

Every German noun has a gender: masculine, feminine or neuter. In the nominative case (the subject of the sentence), the indefinite article is ein for masculine and neuter nouns, and eine for feminine nouns. The definite article is der (masculine), die (feminine) or das (neuter).

每个德语名词都有性别:阳性、阴性或中性。在第一格(句子主语)中,不定冠词为阳性和中性名词使用 ein,阴性名词使用 eine。定冠词为 der(阳性)、die(阴性)或 das(中性)。

When the noun is a direct object (the thing being ‘verbed’), it goes into the accusative case. Only the masculine articles change: ein → einen, der → den. Feminine, neuter and plural articles stay the same as in the nominative.

当名词是直接宾语(被“动词所及”的人或物)时,它要变成第四格。只有阳性冠词会发生变化:ein → einen,der → den。阴性、中性和复数冠词保持第一格的形式不变。

In Lena’s sentence ‘Ich möchte einen Orangensaft’, Orangensaft is masculine (der Saft), and because it is the direct object of möchte, we use einen. By contrast, ‘ein Brötchen’ (neuter, das Brötchen) stays ein because neuter does not change in the accusative.

在莱娜说的“Ich möchte einen Orangensaft”中,Orangensaft 是阳性(der Saft),并且因为它是 möchte 的直接宾语,我们使用 einen。而“ein Brötchen”(中性,das Brötchen)保持不变,因为中性在第四格中不变化。

8. Accusative Case in Practice | 宾格的实际运用

To help you see the pattern clearly, here is a before-and-after table using common canteen items.

为了让你更清楚地看到规律,下面用食堂常见的几种食物做一个前后对比表。

Item Gender Nominative (‘Das ist…’) Accusative (‘Ich möchte…’)
a roll neuter ein Brötchen ein Brötchen
an apple masculine ein Apfel einen Apfel
a banana feminine eine Banane eine Banane
a slice of pizza neuter ein Stück Pizza ein Stück Pizza
a juice masculine ein Saft einen Saft

Notice that the only change is ein → einen for masculine nouns. This rule applies to the indefinite article and also to possessive adjectives: mein (my) becomes meinen for masculine accusative, kein (no/not a) becomes keinen. For example: ‘Ich habe keinen Apfel.’

注意唯一的变化是阳性名词的 ein → einen。这条规则适用于不定冠词,也适用于物主形容词:mein 在阳性第四格变成 meinen,kein 变成 keinen。例如:“Ich habe keinen Apfel.”(我没有苹果。)

9. Word Order: Position of the Verb | 语序:动词的位置

In a main clause (a normal statement), the conjugated verb is always the second idea. That does not mean it is always the second word, but the second ‘slot’ in the sentence. Look at these examples from the dialogues:

在主句(普通陈述句)中,变位动词总是居于第二位。这不意味着它永远是第二个单词,而是句子中的第二“成分”。来看对话中的例子:

Ich heiße Anna. → Subject + Verb + Name
Heute möchte ich einen Saft. → Time expression (slot 1) + Verb (slot 2) + Subject + Object
Was kostet das? → Question word (slot 1) + Verb (slot 2) + Subject

In yes/no questions, the verb jumps to the very front, and the subject follows immediately: Bist du neu?, Hast du eine Karte? This is known as the ‘verb-first’ structure.

在一般疑问句中,动词跳到句首,主语紧跟其后:Bist du neu?Hast du eine Karte?。这就是所谓的“动词句首”结构。

When a sentence has two verbs, such as ‘Ich möchte … bezahlen’ (I would like to pay), the conjugated verb (möchte) takes the second position, and the infinitive (bezahlen) goes to the end. That explains ‘Ich möchte bitte ein Brötchen mit Käse haben’ – the haben can be left out in casual speech, but when present, it sits at the end.

当一个句子中有两个动词时,比如“Ich möchte … bezahlen”,变位动词(möchte)位于第二位,不定式(bezahlen)放到句末。这就解释了“Ich möchte bitte ein Brötchen mit Käse haben”——haben 在口语中可省略,但如果存在就要放在句末。
