IGCSE WJEC French: Exam Techniques and Mark Schemes | IGCSE WJEC 法语:答题技巧与评分标准

📚 IGCSE WJEC French: Exam Techniques and Mark Schemes | IGCSE WJEC 法语:答题技巧与评分标准

This revision guide breaks down the WJEC IGCSE French examination into practical techniques and the marking principles that examiners apply. It covers the four units of speaking, listening, reading and writing, with advice on how to move from simply knowing French to answering questions in a way that gains marks reliably.

本复习指南将 WJEC IGCSE 法语考试分解为实用的答题技巧和考官使用的评分原则。内容涵盖口语、听力、阅读和写作四个单元,并给出建议,帮助你从“掌握法语知识”提升到“以稳定得分的方式回答问题”。

1. Exam Structure and Assessment Objectives | 考试结构与评估目标

In WJEC IGCSE French, the final grade is built from four equally weighted units: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Each skill is worth 25% of the qualification, so a weak performance in one unit cannot be completely hidden by strong performance elsewhere.

在 WJEC IGCSE 法语考试中,最终成绩由四个同等权重的单元组成:口语、听力、阅读和写作。每个技能占资格总分的 25%,因此任何一个单元的薄弱表现都无法被其他单元的强势完全掩盖。

The examination is available at Foundation and Higher tier. Always check which tier you are entered for, because question types, task lengths and the demands of the mark scheme differ between tiers.

考试分为基础层和高层。务必确认你报名的是哪一个层级,因为题型、任务长度和评分标准的要求在两个层级之间有所不同。

Unit Skill Weighting
Unit 1 Speaking 25%
Unit 2 Listening 25%
Unit 3 Reading 25%
Unit 4 Writing 25%

2. How Mark Schemes Reward Answers | 评分标准如何给分

Listening and reading questions are usually objective: one mark is given for each correct answer, with little room for interpretation. In contrast, speaking and writing are marked using banded criteria that reward communication, range of language and accuracy.

听力和阅读题通常是客观题:每个正确答案得 1 分,几乎没有解释空间。相比之下,口语和写作采用分档评分标准,奖励信息传达、语言多样性和准确性。

Assessment objectives in WJEC French are often labelled AO1 to AO4. They map directly onto listening, speaking, reading and writing, so each assessment objective carries roughly 25% of the marks.

WJEC 法语的评估目标通常标注为 AO1 至 AO4。它们分别对应听力、口语、阅读和写作,因此每个评估目标大约占总分的 25%。

  • AO1 Listening: understand and respond to spoken language — 听力:理解并回应口语材料
  • AO2 Speaking: communicate and interact in speech — 口语:进行口头交流和互动
  • AO3 Reading: understand and respond to written language — 阅读:理解并回应书面材料
  • AO4 Writing: communicate in writing — 写作:进行书面表达

3. Speaking: Role-play Techniques | 口语:角色扮演答题技巧

Start by identifying the situation and the bullet points on the role-play card. Each prompt usually expects a short but complete response: a verb, a detail and sometimes an opinion.

首先确定角色扮演卡上的情境和要点。每个提示通常要求一个简短但完整的回答:一个动词、一个细节,有时还要有观点。

Use the preparation time to think in French, not English. If you prepare an English sentence and then translate it, you are more likely to pause or produce word-for-word errors.

利用准备时间用法语思考,而不是用英语思考。如果你先准备英语句子再翻译,更容易停顿或犯逐字直译的错误。

  • Address every bullet point; ignore nothing. 覆盖每个要点,不要遗漏。
  • Ask for repetition politely: “Pouvez-vous répéter, s’il vous plaît ?” 如果不清楚问题,可以礼貌要求重复。
  • Keep answers short, but do not give one-word answers if a bullet point asks for an opinion. 如果要点要求观点,不要只给一个词。

4. Speaking: Photo Card and General Conversation | 口语:图片卡与主题对话技巧

For the photo card, build a description in layers: start with the people, continue with location and action, then add weather, mood and your opinion.

在图片卡环节,分层构建描述:先说人物,接着说地点和动作,然后补充天气、情绪和你的观点。

Examiners reward responses that go beyond simple sentences. Say what is happening, what has just happened or what will happen next if the scene allows it.

考官奖励超越简单句的回答。如果图片场景允许,可以说出正在发生什么、刚刚发生了什么或接下来会发生什么。

  • Use present progressive, past or future if you can. 尽量使用现在进行时或过去/将来时。
  • Add “à mon avis”, “je pense que” or “peut-être” to show opinion. 使用 à mon avis、je pense que 或 peut-être 表达观点。
  • In the general conversation, give a reason for every opinion. 在主题对话中,每个观点都要给出理由。

5. Listening: Pre-listening and While-listening Strategies | 听力:听前与听中策略

You will normally have a short reading time before the recording starts. Use that time to underline question words, look at answer options and predict vocabulary linked to the topic.

录音开始前通常有一段阅读时间。利用这段时间划出疑问词,查看选项,并预测与主题相关的词汇。

While listening, write down key numbers, times and names in the exam booklet. Do not wait until the question number is spoken; answers often come in a different order from the printed questions.

听录音时,在试卷上记录关键数字、时间和姓名。不要等待题目序号被读出;答案出现的顺序常常与卷面题目顺序不同。

  • Question words: où, quand, pourquoi, comment, combien, qui, que. 疑问词:où、quand、pourquoi、comment、combien、qui、que。
  • Listen for synonyms and paraphrase, not identical words. 注意同义词和改写,不要只等原词。
  • Numbers such as 14, 40, 15 and 50 can sound similar in French, so check carefully. 法语中的 14、40、15、50 等数字发音相近,需仔细辨别。

6. Listening: Trap Answers and Negatives | 听力:陷阱答案与否定结构

French negatives can completely reverse meaning. Words like “ne… pas”, “ne… plus”, “ne… jamais” and “ne… rien” often appear just before the answer; missing the “ne” can cost a mark.

法语否定结构会完全改变意思。ne… pas、ne… plus、ne… jamais、ne… rien 等常出现在答案前;漏听 ne 可能会丢分。

Also pay attention to false starts and corrections. A speaker may say one time or activity and then correct it; the corrected version is usually the answer.

还要注意改口和纠正。说话人可能先说一个时间或活动,然后纠正;纠正后的版本通常才是答案。
