IGCSE A & AS Level 经济学 Economics
IGCSE: Economics
Cambridge IGCSE Economics builds a solid grounding in economic terminology, principles and foundational theory. Learners explore how developed and developing economies function and interact with one another. The course equips them to handle straightforward data, carry out economic analysis, assess information, and separate facts from value judgments when tackling economic issues. As well as laying the groundwork for Cambridge International AS and A Level, it fosters a deeper awareness of the world students live in and encourages them to take an active role in decision-making — whether as consumers, producers, or citizens within local, national and global communities.
A & AS Level: Economics
Cambridge International AS and A Level Economics takes learners further, training them to explain and critically evaluate economic issues and arguments, analyse economic evidence, and structure, present and communicate their ideas with clarity. The syllabus introduces essential concepts such as the price mechanism and government intervention, international trade and exchange rates, measuring employment and inflation, as well as the causes and consequences of inflation. Students then delve into the price system, theory of the firm, market failure, macroeconomic theory and policy, and economic growth and development.
