IGCSE: Mathematics
Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics is a fully examined core subject that builds mathematical knowledge as an essential life skill and a stepping stone to advanced studies. It aims to boost learners’ confidence by helping them develop a strong intuition for numbers, patterns, and relationships, with a heavy focus on solving problems, presenting results, and interpreting data. Learners also discover how to communicate and reason with mathematical concepts.
A & AS Level: Mathematics
Building on the foundations from Cambridge IGCSE (or equivalent), Cambridge International AS and A Level Mathematics offers flexible pathways. For AS Level, teachers can choose among three options: Pure Mathematics alone, Pure Mathematics with Mechanics, or Pure Mathematics with Probability and Statistics. At A Level, three routes are available depending on whether students take Mechanics, Probability and Statistics, or both, within the broad area of ‘applications’.
