1. Primary vs Secondary Storage | 主存储器与辅助存储器的区别
Primary storage, often referred to as main memory, is directly accessible by the CPU. It includes RAM and ROM, and is used to hold data and instructions that the processor is currently working on. Primary storage is typically volatile (RAM) or non-volatile but read-only (ROM), and has much faster read/write speeds compared to secondary storage, but offers limited capacity and higher cost per gigabyte.
