本文为 Year 7 AQA 德语学生设计了一个真实情境下的案例分析。通过一位德国中学生的自我简介,我们将逐步拆解核心词汇、语法结构和交际用语,并配以针对性练习,帮助你在阅读、写作和翻译中提升准确度与自信。

1. Introducing the Case Study: Anna’s Self-Introduction | 案例呈现:Anna 的自我简介

Read Anna’s short text carefully. She is 12 years old and lives in Hamburg. This text contains typical target language that you are expected to produce at Year 7 level. We will then break it down section by section.

请仔细阅读 Anna 的短文。她今年 12 岁,住在汉堡。这篇文章包含了 Year 7 阶段你需要掌握的目标语表达。接下来我们会逐一拆解。

Anna schreibt: Hallo!

Anna writes: Hello! My name is Anna Müller and I am twelve years old. I live in Hamburg, a big city in the north of Germany. I have one brother and one sister. My brother is called Felix and he is fifteen. My sister is called Emma and she is nine. We have a dog – he is very cute! My mother is a teacher and my father works at a bank. In my free time I like playing tennis and I also like swimming. My favourite subject at school is English because I like languages. German is great too, but I find maths a bit difficult. At the weekend I often meet my friends and we go to the cinema or play in the park.

2. Key Personal Information Vocabulary | 个人信息核心词汇

The opening lines of Anna’s text teach us how to give basic personal details in German. Notice the question words and answers that form the backbone of a simple identity description.

Anna 在开头几行告诉了我们如何用德语给出基本个人信息。注意这些疑问词和回答,它们构成了简单身份描述的主干。

Wie heißt du? / Ich heiße … – The verb heißen (to be called) is used to give your name. It is a regular verb: ich heiße, du heißt, er/sie heißt.

Wie heißt du? / Ich heiße … — 动词 heißen(名叫)用于介绍姓名。它是规则动词:ich heiße, du heißt, er/sie heißt。

Wie alt bist du? / Ich bin … Jahre alt. – The verb sein (to be) appears here. Remember its forms: ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist, wir sind, ihr seid, sie/Sie sind.

Wie alt bist du? / Ich bin … Jahre alt. — 这里出现了动词 sein(是)。记住它的变位:ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist, wir sind, ihr seid, sie/Sie sind。

Wo wohnst du? / Ich wohne in … – The verb wohnen (to live) is weak and follows the pattern: ich wohne, du wohnst, er wohnt. It is often combined with a city name or a description like in einer großen Stadt.

Wo wohnst du? / Ich wohne in … — 动词 wohnen(居住)是弱变化动词,变位为:ich wohne, du wohnst, er wohnt。它常与城市名或描述性短语连用,如 in einer großen Stadt

3. Verb Spotlight: sein, haben and wohnen | 动词聚焦:sein、haben 和 wohnen

Three core verbs appear repeatedly in the case study. Their present tense forms are essential for all Year 7 tasks. Use the table below as a quick reference for accurate conjugation.

案例中反复出现了三个核心动词。它们的一般现在时变位是所有 Year 7 学习任务的基石。请用下表快速查阅正确变位。

Pronoun sein (to be) haben (to have) wohnen (to live)
ich bin habe wohne
du bist hast wohnst
er/sie/es ist hat wohnt
wir sind haben wohnen
ihr seid habt wohnt
sie/Sie sind haben wohnen

In Anna’s text we see ich bin zwölf, ich habe einen Bruder and ich wohne in Hamburg. The first person form is the easiest to memorise; after that, add the -st ending for ‘du’ and the -t ending for ‘er/sie/es’.

在 Anna 的短文中我们看到了 ich bin zwölfich habe einen Bruder 以及 ich wohne in Hamburg。第一人称形式最容易记忆;之后只需为 “du” 加上词尾 -st,为 “er/sie/es” 加上词尾 -t 即可。

4. Family Members and Possessive Adjectives | 家庭成员与物主形容词

Talking about family is a core AQA topic. Anna introduces her brother, sister and parents. Notice how possessive adjectives change according to the gender of the noun they describe.

谈论家庭是 AQA 的核心话题。Anna 介绍了她的哥哥、姐姐和父母。注意物主形容词如何根据所修饰名词的性而变化。

mein Bruder (masculine) – mein is used before masculine and neuter nouns. meine Schwester (feminine) – meine is used before feminine and plural nouns. The same rule applies to dein/deine and sein/seine.

mein Bruder(阳性名词)—— mein 用于阳性和中性名词前。meine Schwester(阴性名词)—— meine 用于阴性和复数名词前。这一规则也适用于 dein/deinesein/seine

Example sentences from the text: Mein Bruder heißt Felix. Meine Schwester heißt Emma. Meine Mutter ist Lehrerin. The possessive adjective matches the noun, not the person who possesses it. So even though Anna is female, she says mein Bruder because Bruder is masculine.

短文中的例句:Mein Bruder heißt Felix. Meine Schwester heißt Emma. Meine Mutter ist Lehrerin. 物主形容词与名词的性保持一致,而不是与物主的性别保持一致。因此,虽然 Anna 是女性,她仍然说 mein Bruder,因为 Bruder 是阳性名词。

5. Definite and Indefinite Articles: Nominative and Accusative | 定冠词与不定冠词:第一格与第四格

The case study contains several examples where articles change because of their role in the sentence. In Year 7 you mainly need to recognise the accusative case after certain verbs and prepositions.

案例中包含多个因句子功能而发生词形变化的冠词示例。在 Year 7 阶段,你主要需要识别某些动词和介词之后的第四格(宾格)。

  • Nominative (subject): ein Bruder, eine Schwester, ein Hund – These are the forms used when the noun is the subject of the verb.
  • 第一格(主语): ein Bruder, eine Schwester, ein Hund —— 当名词充当动词的主语时使用这些形式。
  • Accusative (direct object): Ich habe einen Bruder – After haben, the masculine indefinite article becomes einen. Ich habe eine Schwester – Feminine and neuter articles do not change in the accusative.
  • 第四格(直接宾语): Ich habe einen Bruder —— 在 haben 之后,阳性不定冠词变为 einenIch habe eine Schwester —— 阴性和中性冠词在第四格中不发生形式变化。
  • Also note bei einer Bank – The preposition bei is followed by the dative, but at this stage it is enough to learn it as a fixed phrase.
  • 也请注意 bei einer Bank —— 介词 bei 后跟第三格,但现阶段将其作为固定短语学习即可。

This grammar point often appears in gap-fill tasks. Always check whether the noun is the subject or the object before choosing der/die/das or den/einen.

这一语法点经常出现在填空题中。在选择 der/die/dasden/einen 之前,务必先判断名词是主语还是宾语。

6. Numbers, Age and Word Order in Simple Sentences | 数字、年龄与简单句语序

Expressing age requires the verb sein plus the number followed by Jahre alt. In German, the verb is the second idea in the sentence, a rule called inversion that sometimes trips learners up.

表达年龄需要使用动词 sein、数字以及 Jahre alt。在德语中,动词始终是句子的第二个成分,这一规则有时会让初学者感到困惑。

From the text: Ich bin zwölf Jahre alt. – Verb second, subject first. Er ist fünfzehn. – No comma; the number is simply placed after the verb. If you add a time phrase at the start, the verb still comes second: Heute bin ich müde.

短文中:Ich bin zwölf Jahre alt. —— 动词第二,主语第一。Er ist fünfzehn. —— 无逗号,数字直接置于动词之后。如果你把时间短语放在句首,动词仍然排第二位:Heute bin ich müde.

Practice the numbers 1–31 for dates, ages and times. Key milestones: null, eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf, sechs, sieben, acht, neun, zehn, elf, zwölf, dreizehn, vierzehn, fünfzehn, sechzehn, siebzehn, achtzehn, neunzehn, zwanzig, einundzwanzig etc.

练习数字1–31,用于表达日期、年龄和时间。关键节点:null, eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf, sechs, sieben, acht, neun, zehn, elf, zwölf, dreizehn, vierzehn, fünfzehn, sechzehn, siebzehn, achtzehn, neunzehn, zwanzig, einundzwanzig 等。

7. Free Time Activities: gern and Verb Position | 业余活动:gern 与动词位置

Anna says In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Tennis. The phrase gern (or gerne) means ‘with pleasure’ and is placed after the verb or at the end of the clause. It is a simple way to say you like doing something without using mögen.

Anna 说 In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Tennis。短语 gern(或 gerne)意为“乐意”,置于动词之后或从句末尾。这是一种简单的方法来表达喜欢做某事,无需使用 mögen

Structure: Subject + verb + gern + rest of sentence. Example: Ich spiele gern Tennis. When the sentence starts with a time expression like In meiner Freizeit, the verb still occupies position two, and the subject follows: In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Tennis.

结构: 主语 + 动词 + gern + 句子其余部分。例如:Ich spiele gern Tennis. 当句子以时间状语(如 In meiner Freizeit)开头时,动词仍然占据第二位,主语紧随其后:In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Tennis.

Other verbs that follow the same pattern are schwimmen, lesen, hören. Form the ‘ich’ present tense of regular verbs by removing the -en from the infinitive: spielen → ich spiele, schwimmen → ich schwimme. For ‘er/sie’, add -t: er spielt, sie schwimmt.

遵循相同模式的动词还有 schwimmenlesenhören 等。规则动词构成 “ich” 现在时的形式是去掉不定式词尾 -en:spielen → ich spieleschwimmen → ich schwimme。对于 “er/sie”,加上 -t:er spieltsie schwimmt

8. Expressing Opinions on School Subjects | 表达对学校科目的看法

Anna uses a range of opinion phrases: Mein Lieblingsfach ist Englisch, weil ich Sprachen mag. Deutsch ist auch toll, aber Mathe finde ich ein bisschen schwierig. The conjunction weil sends the verb to the end – a major challenge in Year 7.

Anna 使用了一系列表达看法的短语:Mein Lieblingsfach ist Englisch, weil ich Sprachen mag. Deutsch ist auch toll, aber Mathe finde ich ein bisschen schwierig. 连词 weil 将动词推到句末,这是 Year 7 阶段的一大难点。

Key opinion words: Lieblingsfach (favourite subject), toll (great), interessant (interesting), langweilig (boring), schwierig (difficult), einfach (easy), ein bisschen (a bit).

关键观点词汇: Lieblingsfach(最爱的科目)、toll(超棒)、interessant(有趣的)、langweilig(无聊的)、schwierig(困难的)、einfach(简单的)、ein bisschen(一点点)。

A typical Year 7 mistake is to forget the verb-final rule after weil. Compare: Ich mag Englisch, weil es interessant ist. (correct) versus weil es ist interessant (incorrect). In your own writing, underline weil and force the verb to the end of that clause.

Year 7 阶段一个典型错误是在 weil 之后忘记将动词放在句末。请对比:Ich mag Englisch, weil es interessant ist.(正确)与 weil es ist interessant(错误)。在书面表达中,标注出 weil 并强制将从句动词放在末尾。

9. Reading Comprehension Exercise | 阅读理解练习

Answer the following questions in English based on Anna’s introduction. This trains you to extract information from authentic-style texts, a key skill for the AQA listening and reading papers.

根据 Anna 的自我介绍,用英语回答以下问题。这能训练你从真实语料中提取信息的能力,是 AQA 听力和阅读试卷中的关键技能。

  • Which school subject does she find a bit difficult? (Expected answer: Maths.)
  • 学科:她觉得哪个科目有点难?(预期答案:数学。)

10. Gap-Fill Grammar Practice | 语法填空练习

Complete the sentences using the correct form of the word in brackets. This exercise replicates the structured grammar tasks found in AQA-style assessments.

用括号中词语的正确形式完成句子。这道练习模拟了 AQA 考试中常见的结构化语法题。

  1. Ich ______ (sein) dreizehn Jahre alt. – Answer: bin
  2. Meine Mutter ______ (arbeiten) in einem Krankenhaus. – Answer: arbeitet
  3. Wir ______ (haben) zwei Katzen. – Answer: haben
  4. ______ (du) wohnst? – Ich wohne in Berlin. – Answer: Wo
  5. Er spielt gern Fußball, ______ (weil) es Spaß macht. – Answer: weil
  6. Ich mag Mathe nicht, ______ (aber) Englisch finde ich super. – Answer: aber
  7. Das ist ______ (mein) Schwester. – Answer: meine
  8. Hast du ______ (ein) Bruder? – Ja, ich habe ______ (ein) Bruder. – Answers: einen; einen

Check your answers against the presentation sections above. Pay special attention to the accusative in the last question, where the masculine article changes from ein to einen.

请对照前文的讲解自查答案。特别注意最后一题的宾格变化,阳性冠词从 ein 变为 einen

11. Translation Challenge: English to German | 翻译挑战:英译德

Translate these sentences into German using the vocabulary and structures practised so far. This is excellent preparation for the AQA writing paper.

运用前文练习过的词汇和结构,将下面的句子翻译成德语。这是 AQA 写作试卷的绝佳准备。

  • My name is Tom and I am thirteen years old.Ich heiße Tom und ich bin dreizehn Jahre alt.
  • 我名叫 Tom,今年13岁。Ich heiße Tom und ich bin dreizehn Jahre alt.
  • I live in Manchester with my family.Ich wohne in Manchester mit meiner Familie.
  • 我和家人住在曼彻斯特。Ich wohne in Manchester mit meiner Familie.
  • I have a sister. She is called Lucy and she is ten years old.Ich habe eine Schwester. Sie heißt Lucy und sie ist zehn Jahre alt.
  • 我有一个姐姐。她叫 Lucy,今年10岁。Ich habe eine Schwester. Sie heißt Lucy und sie ist zehn Jahre alt.
  • In my free time I like playing the guitar and I also like reading. In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Gitarre und ich lese auch gern.
  • 我闲暇时喜欢弹吉他和阅读。In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gern Gitarre und ich lese auch gern.
  • My favourite subject is art because it is creative.Mein Lieblingsfach ist Kunst, weil es kreativ ist.
  • 我最喜欢的科目是美术,因为它富有创造力。Mein Lieblingsfach ist Kunst, weil es kreativ ist.

When translating, always check that the verb is in second position in main clauses and at the end after weil. Also double-check adjective endings, though at Year 7 you are not expected to master all of them yet.

翻译时,务必检查主句中的动词是否在第二位,以及 weil 引导的从句中动词是否在末尾。另外请复查形容词词尾,尽管 Year 7 阶段尚未要求完全掌握所有词尾变化。

12. Top Tips and Common Mistakes to Avoid | 实用提示与常见错误避坑指南

Based on real Year 7 performance data, these reminders will help you secure marks in reading, writing and speaking assessments.

根据真实的 Year 7 学情数据,以下提醒能帮助你在阅读、写作和口语测评中稳稳拿到分数。

Common Mistake 常见错误 Correction 正确做法
Forgetting the -s in ‘du’ verb forms (du spiel) Always add -st: du spielst, du wohnst
Using ‘ist’ after ‘weil’ instead of moving it to the end weil es interessant ist (verb final)
Confusing ‘ein’ and ‘eine’ with family nouns ein Bruder, eine Schwester – learn the gender
Capitalising ‘ich’ unnecessarily (ich, not Ich) Only capitalise ‘ich’ at the start of a sentence
Using English word order: ‘Ich mag Musik, weil ich bin kreativ.’ Correct: …, weil ich kreativ bin.

The best way to internalise these patterns is to read German texts aloud, copy model sentences by hand, and practise short writing tasks every day. Use Anna’s case study as a template for your own self-introduction, swapping the details with your own information. Repetition builds automaticity.

内化这些模式的最佳方法是大声明读德语文章、亲手抄写范例句子并每天进行短篇写作练习。你可以将 Anna 的案例作为自己自我介绍的模板,把细节替换成你自己的信息。重复练习能够形成语言运用的自动化。
