1. Case Study 1: Greetings and Introductions | 案例一:问候与自我介绍
Scenario: First day at a new school in France. You meet a classmate in the corridor.
场景:在法国一所新学校的第一天。你在走廊遇见一位同学。
Dialogue: Paul – “Salut ! Je m’appelle Paul. Et toi ?” Marie – “Bonjour ! Moi, c’est Marie. Ça va ?” Paul – “Ça va bien, merci. Tu es en quelle classe ?” Marie – “Je suis en sixième. Et toi ?” Paul – “Moi aussi ! Super !”

“Salut” is a friendly, informal way to say “hi”, while “Bonjour” is the standard “hello” used at any time of day until evening. You can respond to “Ça va ?” with “Ça va bien” (I’m well), “Comme ci, comme ça” (so-so) or “Ça va mal” (not good).
“Salut” 是一种亲切、非正式的打招呼方式,而 “Bonjour” 是白天到傍晚都可使用的标准“你好”。你可以用 “Ça va bien”(我很好)、”Comme ci, comme ça”(马马虎虎)或 “Ça va mal”(不太好)来回答 “Ça va ?”。
When introducing yourself, you can say “Je m’appelle…” (I call myself…) or simply “Moi, c’est…” (Me, it’s…). To ask someone’s name, use “Comment tu t’appelles ?” for a friend, or the more formal “Comment vous appelez-vous ?” for a teacher.
自我介绍时,你可以说 “Je m’appelle…”(我叫…)或者简单地说 “Moi, c’est…”(我是…)。询问对方名字时,对朋友用 “Comment tu t’appelles ?”,对老师或长辈用更正式的 “Comment vous appelez-vous ?”。
Quick challenge: How would you greet your French teacher at 9am and ask how she is?
快速挑战:你要在上午9点问候你的法语老师并询问她怎么样,该怎么说?
2. Case Study 2: Age and Numbers | 案例二:年龄与数字
Scenario: At a birthday party, you are asked how old you are.
场景:在生日聚会上,有人问你多大了。
Dialogue: Copain – “C’est ton anniversaire ? Quel âge as-tu ?” Toi – “Oui, j’ai douze ans aujourd’hui. Et toi, tu as quel âge ?” Copain – “Moi, j’ai onze ans. Joyeux anniversaire !”
对话:朋友 – “这是你的生日吗?你多大了?” 你 – “是的,我今天12岁了。你呢,你几岁?” 朋友 – “我11岁。生日快乐!”
In French, you use “avoir” (to have) to express age: “J’ai douze ans” literally means “I have twelve years”. The question is “Quel âge as-tu ?” or more formally “Quel âge avez-vous ?”.
在法语中,用动词 “avoir”(有)表达年龄:”J’ai douze ans” 字面意思是“我有12岁”。问年龄是 “Quel âge as-tu ?”,更正式的说法是 “Quel âge avez-vous ?”。
Numbers 1–20 are essential. Here are the most common ones: un (1), deux (2), trois (3), quatre (4), cinq (5), six (6), sept (7), huit (8), neuf (9), dix (10), onze (11), douze (12), treize (13), quatorze (14), quinze (15), seize (16), dix-sept (17), dix-huit (18), dix-neuf (19), vingt (20).
熟悉数字 1 到 20 非常重要。常用数字有:un (1), deux (2), trois (3), quatre (4), cinq (5), six (6), sept (7), huit (8), neuf (9), dix (10), onze (11), douze (12), treize (13), quatorze (14), quinze (15), seize (16), dix-sept (17), dix-huit (18), dix-neuf (19), vingt (20)。

Dialogue: Toi – “Regarde ! Voici ma famille.” Ami – “Qui est-ce ?” Toi – “Ça, c’est mon père, il s’appelle David. Ma mère, Sophie, est à côté de lui. Mon petit frère s’appelle Lucas et ma grande sœur, c’est Chloé.”
对话:你 – “看!这是我的家人。” 朋友 – “这是谁?” 你 – “这个是我爸爸,他叫大卫。我妈妈索菲在他旁边。我的弟弟叫卢卡,我姐姐是克洛伊。”
Family members in French: mon père (my father), ma mère (my mother), mon frère (my brother), ma sœur (my sister), mon grand-père (my grandfather), ma grand-mère (my grandmother). Note that “mon” is used before masculine nouns and before feminine nouns that start with a vowel, while “ma” is used before feminine nouns beginning with a consonant.
法语中的家庭成员:mon père(我的父亲),ma mère(我的母亲),mon frère(我的兄弟),ma sœur(我的姐妹),mon grand-père(我的祖父),ma grand-mère(我的祖母)。注意,”mon” 用于阳性名词前,也用于以元音开头的阴性名词前,而 “ma” 用于以辅音开头的阴性名词前。
To describe siblings, you can add “petit” (little) or “grand” (big): “mon petit frère” (my little brother) and “ma grande sœur” (my big sister). The adjective usually comes after the noun, but with “petit” and “grand” it can come before, depending on meaning.

The main colours in French are: rouge (red), bleu (blue), vert (green), jaune (yellow), noir (black), blanc (white), gris (grey), orange (orange), violet (purple), marron (brown) and rose (pink). Most colour adjectives go after the noun: “un stylo bleu”, “une trousse rose”.
法语中的主要颜色有:rouge(红色)、bleu(蓝色)、vert(绿色)、jaune(黄色)、noir(黑色)、blanc(白色)、gris(灰色)、orange(橙色)、violet(紫色)、marron(棕色)和 rose(粉红色)。大部分颜色形容词放在名词后面,例如 “un stylo bleu”(一支蓝色钢笔),”une trousse rose”(一个粉色铅笔盒)。
Colour adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun they describe: “bleu” becomes “bleue” for feminine, “verts” for masculine plural, and “blanc” becomes “blanche”. However, “orange” and “marron” are invariable – they do not change.
颜色形容词要与所修饰名词的性、数配合:”bleu” 在阴性时变为 “bleue”,阳性复数变为 “verts”;”blanc” 变为 “blanche”。然而,”orange” 和 “marron” 没有性数变化。
