📚 Year 7 CIE German: Formulae & Theorems Quick Reference | 7年级 CIE 德语:公式定理速查手册

In German, just as in mathematics, a solid grasp of core ‘formulae’ and ‘theorems’ is the key to constructing accurate sentences. This handbook summarises the essential grammatical patterns – from noun genders to verb conjugation and word order – that Year 7 students following the CIE curriculum need to memorise and apply. Use it as a quick refresher before class tests or homework tasks.

在德语中,就像在数学中一样,牢固掌握核心“公式”和“定理”是造出正确句子的关键。本手册汇总了遵循 CIE 课程的 7 年级学生需要记忆和运用的基本语法模式——从名词性属到动词变位和语序。可以作为课堂测验或家庭作业前的快速复习资料。

1. Noun Genders: The Three-Category Theorem | 名词性别:三分类定理

Every German noun belongs to one of three genders: masculine, feminine or neuter. The definite article acts as the constant in a gender ‘formula’: der for masculine, die for feminine, das for neuter.

每个德语名词都属于三种性别之一:阳性、阴性或中性。定冠词充当性别“公式”中的常量:der 表示阳性,die 表示阴性,das 表示中性。

Learn these endings as shortcuts: -er, -ismus, -ling usually signal masculine (der Lehrer, der Optimismus, der Schmetterling); -heit, -keit, -ung, -schaft are feminine (die Freiheit, die Fähigkeit, die Meinung, die Freundschaft); -chen, -lein, -ment, -um are typically neuter (das Mädchen, das Fräulein, das Instrument, das Zentrum).

Always memorise the article together with the noun as one unit.

注意例外:das Ende 结尾,die Mutter 母亲,der Name 名字。务必把冠词和名词当作一个整体来记忆。

2. Plural Forms: The Five-Formula System | 复数形式:五公式体系

German plurals are not formed by a simple -s ending like in English. There are five main plural ‘formulae’, each applied to different noun endings and genders.

公式 2:加 -er,a, o, u 上总带变音(das Kind → die Kinder 孩子,das Buch → die Bücher 书,der Wald → die Wälder 森林)。

Formula 3: add -n or -en, mostly for feminine nouns ending in -e, -el, -er (die Blume → die Blumen, die Schwester → die Schwestern, die Tür → die Türen). Formula 4: add -s, mainly for words of foreign origin and abbreviations (das Auto → die Autos, das Hotel → die Hotels, der Opa → die Opas). Formula 5: no ending change but often umlaut on stem vowel (der Vater → die Väter, die Mutter → die Mütter, das Messer → die Messer).

3. The Case System: Core Declension Logic | 格系统:核心变格逻辑

The case system is the ‘engine’ of German grammar. It dictates how articles, pronouns and adjectives change according to the function of a noun in the sentence. Year 7 focuses on three active cases: Nominative (subject), Accusative (direct object) and Dative (indirect object).

格系统是德语语法的“引擎”。它规定冠词、代词和形容词如何根据名词在句子中的功能变化。7 年级重点关注三个常用格:主格(主语)、宾格(直接宾语)和与格(间接宾语)。

The Nominative is used for the subject: ‘Der Hund schläft.’ (The dog sleeps.) The Accusative is used for the direct object: ‘Ich sehe den Hund.’ (I see the dog.) The Dative is used for the indirect object: ‘Ich gebe dem Hund einen Ball.’ (I give the dog a ball.)

主格用于主语:“Der Hund schläft.” (狗在睡觉。) 宾格用于直接宾语:“Ich sehe den Hund.” (我看见那只狗。) 与格用于间接宾语:“Ich gebe dem Hund einen Ball.” (我给狗一个球。)

Certain prepositions always trigger a specific case: durch, für, gegen, ohne, um always take the Accusative; aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu always take the Dative.

某些介词总是触发特定的格:durch, für, gegen, ohne, um 永远接宾格;aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu 永远接与格。

4. Definite Articles: A Declension Table | 定冠词变格表

The definite article ‘the’ changes its form as a function of gender, number and case. Below is the ‘formula table’ you must internalise:

定冠词“这个/那个”根据性、数和格变化形式。以下是必须内化的“公式表”:

Case Masculine Feminine Neuter Plural
Nominative der die das die
Accusative den die das die
Dative dem der dem den

For the indefinite article ‘a/an’, use the same endings but the base form is ein (masculine), eine (feminine), ein (neuter). No plural indefinite article exists; use ‘keine’ for negation.

对于不定冠词“一个”,使用相同的词尾变化,但基础形式为 ein(阳性)、eine(阴性)、ein(中性)。不定冠词没有复数形式;否定时用 keine。

5. Personal Pronouns in Three Cases | 人称代词的三格变化

Pronouns replace nouns and must match the case of the noun they stand for. Here is the essential reference table for Year 7 CIE German:

代词替代名词,并且必须与其所指名词的格相匹配。以下是 7 年级 CIE 德语必备的参照表:

Person Nominative Accusative Dative
1st sing. (I) ich mich mir
2nd sing. (you) du dich dir
3rd sing. masc. (he/it) er ihn ihm
3rd sing. fem. (she/it) sie sie ihr
3rd sing. neut. (it) es es ihm
1st pl. (we) wir uns uns
2nd pl. (you all) ihr euch euch
3rd pl. / polite (they/you formal) sie / Sie sie / Sie ihnen / Ihnen

The dative forms mir, dir, ihm, ihr, ihm, uns, euch, ihnen are particularly important after dative prepositions and indirect objects. The polite ‘Sie’ is always capitalised.

与格形式 mir, dir, ihm, ihr, ihm, uns, euch, ihnen 在与格介词和间接宾语后尤为重要。尊称“Sie”始终大写。

6. Present Tense Verb Conjugation: The Stem + Ending Theorem | 现在时动词变位:词干+词尾定理

The present tense of regular (weak) verbs is formed by removing the -en or -n from the infinitive and adding the correct personal ending. This is the fundamental conjugation ‘formula’.

规则(弱变化)动词的现在时由去掉不定式的 -en 或 -n,再加正确的人称词尾构成。这是基本的变位“公式”。

Endings for the verb ‘spielen’ (to play): ich spiele, du spielst, er/sie/es spielt, wir spielen, ihr spielt, sie/Sie spielen.

动词 spielen (玩) 的词尾:ich spiele, du spielst, er/sie/es spielt, wir spielen, ihr spielt, sie/Sie spielen。

If the stem ends in d, t or consonant + n, insert an e before -st and -t endings: arbeiten → du arbeitest, er arbeitet; finden → du findest, er findet.

如果词干以 d, t 或辅音 + n 结尾,在 -st 和 -t 前插入 e:arbeiten → du arbeitest, er arbeitet; finden → du findest, er findet。

Stem-vowel change verbs (strong verbs) modify the stem vowel in du and er/sie/es forms: lesen → du liest, er liest; fahren → du fährst, er fährt; geben → du gibst, er gibt. Memorise these as mini-formulae.

词干元音变化动词(强变化动词)在 du 和 er/sie/es 形式中改变词干元音:lesen → du liest, er liest; fahren → du fährst, er fährt; geben → du gibst, er gibt。把这些当作小公式来记忆。

7. The Two Irregular Giants: sein and haben | 两个不规则巨人:sein 和 haben

The verbs ‘sein’ (to be) and ‘haben’ (to have) are the most frequent irregular verbs. They follow no standard formula and must be learned by heart.

动词 “sein”(是)和 “haben”(有)是最常用的不规则动词。它们不遵循任何标准公式,必须熟记于心。

Sein: ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist, wir sind, ihr seid, sie/Sie sind. Example: ‘Ich bin müde.’ (I am tired.)

sein:ich bin, du bist, er/sie/es ist, wir sind, ihr seid, sie/Sie sind。例句:“Ich bin müde.”(我累了。)

Haben: ich habe, du hast, er/sie/es hat, wir haben, ihr habt, sie/Sie haben. Example: ‘Du hast einen Bruder.’ (You have a brother.)

haben:ich habe, du hast, er/sie/es hat, wir haben, ihr habt, sie/Sie haben。例句:“Du hast einen Bruder.”(你有一个兄弟。)

8. Word Order: The Verb-Second ‘Magic Formula’ | 语序:动词第二位“魔幻公式”

In main clauses (statements), the conjugated verb always occupies the second position. This is the most important word-order theorem in German. The first position can be the subject, a time expression, a place or any other element.

在主句(陈述句)中,变位动词总是占据第二位。这是德语最重要的语序定理。第一位可以是主语、时间表达、地点或其他任何成分。

Formula pattern: [Position 1] + [Verb] + [Subject if not first] + [Other info]. Examples: ‘Ich spiele am Samstag Tennis.’ → ‘Am Samstag spiele ich Tennis.’ → ‘Tennis spiele ich am Samstag.’ The verb ‘spiele’ remains in second place.

公式模式:[第一位] + [动词] + [主语若不在第一位] + [其他信息]。例如:“Ich spiele am Samstag Tennis.” → “Am Samstag spiele ich Tennis.” → “Tennis spiele ich am Samstag.” 动词 “spiele” 始终在第二位。

When a subordinate clause is introduced by a conjunction like ‘weil’ (because) or ‘dass’ (that), the verb moves to the end: ‘Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil es regnet.’ (I stay at home because it is raining.) This is the subordinate-clause theorem.

当由 “weil”(因为)或 “dass”(那)等连词引入从句时,动词移到末尾:“Ich bleibe zu Hause, weil es regnet.”(我待在家里,因为下雨。)这是从句定理。

9. Question Formulae: Yes/No and WH-Questions | 疑问句公式:一般疑问与特殊疑问

For yes/no questions, apply the inverted formula: [Verb] + [Subject] + [Rest]. No question word is needed. ‘Du spielst Fußball.’ → ‘Spielst du Fußball?’

一般疑问句使用倒装公式:[动词] + [主语] + [其他]。不需要疑问词。“Du spielst Fußball.” → “Spielst du Fußball?”

For WH-questions, the question word occupies the first position, the verb follows in second place, and then the subject: [Question Word] + [Verb] + [Subject] + [Rest]. Common question words: wer (who), was (what), wo (where), wann (when), warum (why), wie (how).

特殊疑问句中,疑问词位于第一位,动词紧随其后在第二位,然后接主语:[疑问词] + [动词] + [主语] + [其他]。常用疑问词:wer (谁), was (什么), wo (哪里), wann (何时), warum (为什么), wie (如何)。

Example: ‘Wann fängt der Film an?’ (When does the film start?) ‘Was machst du heute?’ (What are you doing today?) ‘Warum lernst du Deutsch?’ (Why are you learning German?)

例句:“Wann fängt der Film an?”(电影什么时候开始?)“Was machst du heute?”(你今天做什么?)“Warum lernst du Deutsch?”(你为什么学德语?)

10. Negation Formulae: nicht vs. kein | 否定公式:nicht 与 kein

Use ‘kein’ to negate a noun preceded by an indefinite article or no article. ‘Kein’ follows the same case and gender endings as the indefinite article ein. It functions as a negative article: kein, keine, kein.

用 kein 来否定带不定冠词或不带冠词的名词。kein 遵循与不定冠词 ein 相同的格和性词尾。它相当于否定冠词:kein, keine, kein。

Examples: ‘Ich habe ein Buch.’ → ‘Ich habe kein Buch.’ (I have no book.) ‘Er hat eine Katze.’ → ‘Er hat keine Katze.’ (He has no cat.) ‘Das ist ein Problem.’ → ‘Das ist kein Problem.’ (That is no problem.)

例句:“Ich habe ein Buch.” → “Ich habe kein Buch.” (我没有书。) “Er hat eine Katze.” → “Er hat keine Katze.” (他没有猫。) “Das ist ein Problem.” → “Das ist kein Problem.” (那不是问题。)

Use ‘nicht’ to negate verbs, adjectives, adverbs or entire statements. The general placement rule: ‘nicht’ goes to the end of the clause, but it precedes infinitives, participles and separable prefixes. ‘Ich lese das Buch nicht.’ (I do not read the book.) ‘Das ist nicht gut.’ (That is not good.)

用 nicht 否定动词、形容词、副词或整个陈述。一般位置规则:nicht 置于句子末尾,但在不定式、分词和可分前缀之前。“Ich lese das Buch nicht.” (我不读那本书。) “Das ist nicht gut.” (那不好。)

If a time expression or a preceded object is present, ‘nicht’ usually comes after it: ‘Ich gehe heute nicht ins Kino.’ (I am not going to the cinema today.)

如果有时间状语或前置宾语,nicht 通常在其后:“Ich gehe heute nicht ins Kino.” (我今天不去电影院。)

11. Common Prepositions and Their Case ‘Algorithms’ | 常用介词及其格“算法”

Prepositions are the final set of crucial ‘operators’. Weeping them with the correct case is non-negotiable. Two-way prepositions (in, an, auf, hinter, neben, über, unter, vor, zwischen) take the Dative when answering ‘Wo?’ (location) and the Accusative when answering ‘Wohin?’ (direction).

介词是最后一组关键的“运算符”。与正确的格搭配使用是无可妥协的。双支介词(in, an, auf, hinter, neben, über, unter, vor, zwischen)在回答“Wo?”(在哪里)时用与格,回答“Wohin?”(去哪里)时用宾格。

Accusative-only prepositions (durch, für, gegen, ohne, um) and Dative-only prepositions (aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu) form fixed-case ‘blocks’. Always double-check which block a preposition belongs to.

只跟宾格的介词(durch, für, gegen, ohne, um)和只跟与格的介词(aus, bei, mit, nach, seit, von, zu)构成了固定格“区块”。务必反复核查一个介词属于哪个区块。

Examples of two-way: ‘Ich bin in der Schule.’ (I am in school – Dative, location.) vs. ‘Ich gehe in die Schule.’ (I am going into school – Accusative, direction.)

双支介词例句:“Ich bin in der Schule.”(我在学校——与格,位置)对比“Ich gehe in die Schule.”(我去学校——宾格,方向。)

12. The ‘Modal Verb Shuffle’ Formula | 情态动词移形换步公式

Modal verbs (können, müssen, dürfen, sollen, wollen, möchten) modify the main verb. When a modal verb is conjugated, it takes the second position, and the main verb goes to the end of the clause in its infinitive form.

情态动词(können, müssen, dürfen, sollen, wollen, möchten)修饰主要动词。当情态动词变位时,它占据第二位,而主要动词以不定式形式移到句子末尾。

Formula: [Subject] + [Modal Verb] + [Other Elements] + [Infinitive]. ‘Ich will Tennis spielen.’ (I want to play tennis.) ‘Sie kann gut schwimmen.’ (She can swim well.) ‘Wir müssen jetzt gehen.’ (We must go now.)

公式:[主语] + [情态动词] + [其他成分] + [不定式]。“Ich will Tennis spielen.”(我想打网球。)“Sie kann gut schwimmen.”(她游泳游得好。)“Wir müssen jetzt gehen.”(我们现在得走了。)

The first person singular and third person singular of modal verbs drop the personal ending and often change the stem vowel: können → ich kann, er kann; müssen → ich muss, er muss; dürfen → ich darf, er darf.

情态动词的第一人称单数和第三人称单数去掉人称词尾,并且常改变词干元音:können → ich kann, er kann;müssen → ich muss, er muss;dürfen → ich darf, er darf。
