2. The Sounds of Spanish: Pronunciation Guide | 西班牙语发音指南

Spanish pronunciation is largely phonetic, meaning words are pronounced as they are written. Mastering the sounds early will help you speak with confidence.

西班牙语的发音大多符合拼写规则,即单词按照拼写发音。尽早掌握发音将帮助你自信地开口说。

Vowels: Spanish has five pure vowel sounds. ‘a’ sounds like ‘a’ in ‘father’, ‘e’ like ‘e’ in ‘bed’, ‘i’ like ‘ee’ in ‘see’, ‘o’ like ‘o’ in ‘pot’, and ‘u’ like ‘oo’ in ‘food’.

元音:西班牙语有五个纯元音。’a’ 发音类似 ‘father’ 中的 ‘a’,’e’ 类似 ‘bed’ 中的 ‘e’,’i’ 类似 ‘see’ 中的 ‘ee’,’o’ 类似 ‘pot’ 中的 ‘o’,’u’ 类似 ‘food’ 中的 ‘oo’。

Consonants such as ‘h’ are always silent (hola → /ola/); ‘v’ is pronounced as a soft ‘b’; the letter ‘ñ’ carries a ‘ny’ sound as in ‘canyon’; and the rolled ‘rr’ requires practice. Remember that ‘ll’ is typically like ‘y’ in ‘yes’.

辅音如 ‘h’ 总是不发音(hola 读作 /ola/);’v’ 发音为软化的 ‘b’;字母 ‘ñ’ 带有类似 ‘canyon’ 中的 ‘ny’ 音;颤音 ‘rr’ 需要练习。记住 ‘ll’ 通常听起来像 ‘yes’ 中的 ‘y’。

5. Basic Grammar: Nouns, Gender, and Articles | 基础语法:名词、性别与冠词

All Spanish nouns have a gender: masculine or feminine. This affects the articles and adjectives that go with them.

所有西班牙语名词都有性别:阳性或阴性。这会影响与之搭配的冠词和形容词。

Masculine nouns often end in -o, like libro (book). Feminine nouns often end in -a, like casa (house). There are exceptions, such as mano (hand), which is feminine despite ending in -o.

阳性名词常以 -o 结尾,如 libro(书)。阴性名词常以 -a 结尾,如 casa(房子)。也有例外,如 mano(手)虽然以 -o 结尾却是阴性。

The definite articles are el (masculine singular), la (feminine singular), los (masculine plural), and las (feminine plural). For example: el libro, la casa, los libros, las casas.

定冠词有 el(阳性单数)、la(阴性单数)、los(阳性复数)和 las(阴性复数)。例如:el libro、la casa、los libros、las casas。

Indefinite articles follow the same pattern: un (a/an, masculine), una (a/an, feminine), unos (some, masculine), unas (some, feminine). Un chico (a boy), una chica (a girl).

不定冠词遵循相同模式:un(一个,阳性)、una(一个,阴性)、unos(一些,阳性)、unas(一些,阴性)。Un chico(一个男孩),una chica(一个女孩)。

6. Present Tense of Regular -ar, -er, -ir Verbs | 规则动词现在时

Verbs are the action words. Knowing how to conjugate regular verbs opens up a world of sentences.

动词是动作词汇。掌握规则动词的变位将为你打开句子世界的大门。

For -ir verbs like vivir (to live): vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, vivís, viven.

对于 -ir 动词如 vivir(居住):vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, vivís, viven.
