1. Personal Pronouns: The Subject ‘I, You, He, She…’ | 人称代词:主语“我、你、他、她……”
Every sentence starts with the person doing the action. These subject pronouns are your sentence-building blocks. Memorise them as fixed pairs.
每个句子都以发出动作的人称开头。这些主格代词是你造句的基石。请将它们作为固定搭配来记忆。
- ich – I / 我
- du – you (singular, informal) / 你(单数,非正式)
- er – he / 他
- sie – she / 她
- es – it / 它
- wir – we / 我们
- ihr – you (plural, informal) / 你们(复数,非正式)
- sie – they / 他们
- Sie – you (formal, singular and plural) / 您、您们(正式)
Remember: ‘sie’ can mean she or they depending on the verb form. Formal ‘Sie’ always starts with a capital letter.
注意:“sie”可以表示她或他们,取决于动词形式。正式的“Sie”始终首字母大写。
2. Regular Verb Conjugation Formula: Present Tense | 规则动词现在时变位公式
Most German verbs follow a predictable pattern. Take the stem (infinitive minus -en) and add these endings. Treat this table as your conjugation engine.
大多数德语动词遵循可预测的模式。取词干(动词原形去掉 -en)并添加以下词尾。请将这张表格视为你的变位引擎。
| Pronoun | Ending | Example: spielen (to play) |
|---|---|---|
| ich | -e | ich spiele |
| du | -st | du spielst |
| er/sie/es | -t | er spielt |
| wir | -en | wir spielen |
| ihr | -t | ihr spielt |
| sie/Sie | -en | sie spielen |
Formula: stem + ending. Works for machen, wohnen, hören, lernen and hundreds more. Watch out for stems ending in -d, -t or -n; they often add an -e- before -st and -t (e.g. du arbeitest).
公式:词干 + 词尾。适用于 machen, wohnen, hören, lernen 等数百个动词。注意以 -d, -t 或 -n 结尾的词干,通常在 -st 和 -t 前加 -e-(例如:du arbeitest)。
3. The Verb ‘to be’ – sein: Irregular but Essential | 动词“是”——sein:不规则但必须掌握
Sein is the most important irregular verb. There is no stem pattern here, so learn these forms by heart. Every sentence describing who you are or how you feel needs sein.
Sein 是最重要的不规则动词。它没有词干变化规律,因此务必熟记这些形式。每个描述你是谁或你感觉如何的句子都需要用到 sein。
- ich bin – I am / 我是
- du bist – you are (informal singular) / 你是
- er/sie/es ist – he/she/it is / 他/她/它是
- wir sind – we are / 我们是
- ihr seid – you are (informal plural) / 你们是
- sie/Sie sind – they/you (formal) are / 他们/您是
Use sein with adjectives (Ich bin müde. – I am tired.), nationalities (Er ist Engländer.) and professions (Sie ist Lehrerin.).
将 sein 与形容词(Ich bin müde. 我累了)、国籍(Er ist Engländer. 他是英国人)和职业(Sie ist Lehrerin. 她是老师)搭配使用。
4. The Verb ‘to have’ – haben: Your Possession Formula | 动词“有”——haben:表示拥有的公式
Haben follows a slightly irregular pattern in the du and er/sie/es forms. It drops the ‘b’ and changes the vowel. Memorise this pattern to talk about what you have, your family, pets, and possessions.
Haben 在 du 和 er/sie/es 形式中略有变化,它去掉 ‘b’ 并改变元音。记住这一模式,以便谈论你拥有什么、你的家庭、宠物和物品。
- ich habe – I have / 我有
- du hast – you have (informal singular) / 你有
- er/sie/es hat – he/she/it has / 他/她/它有
- wir haben – we have / 我们有
- ihr habt – you have (informal plural) / 你们有
- sie/Sie haben – they/you (formal) have / 他们/您有
Combine haben with nouns in the accusative case: Ich habe einen Bruder. (I have a brother.)
将 haben 与宾格名词搭配使用:Ich habe einen Bruder.(我有一个哥哥。)
5. The Word Order Formula: Verb Second Rule | 语序公式:动词第二位规则
In a simple main clause, the conjugated verb must be the second idea or element in the sentence. This is the golden rule of German word order and the engine behind almost everything you write or say.
在简单主句中,变位动词必须是句子中的第二个成分或要素。这是德语语序的黄金法则,也是你几乎所有写作和口语表达的基础。
Formula: Element 1 + conjugated verb + rest of sentence.
公式:成分 1 + 变位动词 + 句子其余部分。
Examples:
示例:
- Ich spiele am Samstag Fußball. (I play football on Saturday.) / 我在周六踢足球。
- Am Samstag spiele ich Fußball. (On Saturday I play football.) / 周六我踢足球。
- Jetzt mache ich meine Hausaufgaben. (Now I do my homework.) / 现在我做家庭作业。
Notice how the time phrase ‘Am Samstag’ takes position 1, and the verb remains firmly in position 2, with the subject moving right after the verb. This is called inversion.
请注意时间状语“Am Samstag”占据了第一位,而动词依然稳居第二位,主语则紧随动词之后。这被称为倒装。
6. Forming Questions: The Yes/No Formula & W-Questions | 构成问句:一般疑问句公式与特殊疑问句
Asking questions is straightforward once you know two patterns. For yes/no questions, move the verb to position 1. For information questions, start with a question word, then verb in position 2, then subject.
一旦你掌握了两种模式,提问就很简单。对于一般疑问句,将动词移到第一位。对于特殊疑问句,以疑问词开头,动词在第二位,然后是主语。
Yes/No Formula: Verb + subject + rest?
一般疑问句公式:动词 + 主语 + 其余部分?
- Spielst du Tennis? (Do you play tennis?) / 你打网球吗?
- Hast du ein Haustier? (Do you have a pet?) / 你有宠物吗?
- Ist er müde? (Is he tired?) / 他累吗?
W-Question Formula: Question word + verb + subject + rest?
特殊疑问句公式:疑问词 + 动词 + 主语 + 其余部分?
- Wie heißt du? (What is your name?) / 你叫什么名字?
- Wo wohnst du? (Where do you live?) / 你住在哪里?
- Wann fängt die Schule an? (When does school start?) / 学校什么时候开学?
Key W-words: wer (who), was (what), wo (where), wann (when), wie (how), warum (why).
关键 W 疑问词:wer(谁)、was(什么)、wo(哪里)、wann(何时)、wie(怎样)、warum(为什么)。
7. Genders and the Definite Article Formula | 性与定冠词公式
Every German noun has a gender: masculine, feminine or neuter. The definite article ‘the’ changes in the nominative case (subject) according to gender. Always learn the article as part of the noun, e.g. der Hund, die Katze, das Buch.
每个德语名词都有性:阳性、阴性或中性。定冠词“the”在主格(主语)中根据性而变化。请始终将冠词作为名词的一部分来学习,例如 der Hund, die Katze, das Buch。
| Gender | Definite article (the) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Masculine | der | der Mann (the man) |
| Feminine | die | die Frau (the woman) |
| Neuter | das | das Kind (the child) |
| Plural (all genders) | die | die Kinder (the children) |
The indefinite article ‘a/an’ also follows gender: ein (masculine/neuter) and eine (feminine). For plural with kein (no), use keine. Keep this table visible when you write sentences.
不定冠词“a/an”也依据性变化:ein(阳性/中性)和 eine(阴性)。复数形式与 kein(没有)连用时用 keine。写句子时请将此表放在手边。
8. The Accusative Case: Direct Object Formula | 宾格:直接宾语公式
When a noun is the direct object of a verb (receiving the action), it often enters the accusative case. Only the masculine article changes from der to den. All other forms stay the same as nominative. Think of it as der → den for ‘the’ and ein → einen for ‘a’.
当一个名词是动词的直接宾语(承受动作)时,它通常进入宾格。只有阳性冠词从 der 变为 den。其他形式与主格相同。可将其理解为“the” der → den,以及“a” ein → einen。
| Gender | Definite article | Indefinite article |
|---|---|---|
| Masculine | den | einen |
| Feminine | die | eine |
| Neuter | das | ein |
| Plural | die | keine (for negation) |
Examples: Ich sehe den Hund. (I see the dog.) / Ich habe einen Bruder. (I have a brother.)
例句:Ich sehe den Hund.(我看见了那只狗。)/ Ich habe einen Bruder.(我有一个哥哥。)
9. Expressing Negation: nicht and kein | 表达否定:nicht 和 kein
Use nicht to negate verbs, adjectives or whole statements. Place it at the end of the sentence or before the element you want to negate. For negating nouns (especially with indefinite articles), use kein which follows the same endings as ein.
使用 nicht 来否定动词、形容词或整个陈述。将其置于句末或你想要否定的成分之前。要否定名词(尤其是不定冠词),使用 kein,其词尾变化与 ein 相同。
Formula with nicht: Ich spiele nicht Fußball. (I do not play football.) / Das ist nicht gut. (That is not good.)
nicht 公式:Ich spiele nicht Fußball.(我不踢足球。)/ Das ist nicht gut.(那不好。)
Formula with kein: Ich habe keinen Hund. (I have no dog.) / Er hat keine Geschwister. (He has no siblings.)
kein 公式:Ich habe keinen Hund.(我没有狗。)/ Er hat keine Geschwister.(他没有兄弟姐妹。)
10. Modal Verb Patterns: können and müssen | 情态动词模式:können 和 müssen
Modal verbs like können (can, to be able to) and müssen (must, to have to) modify the meaning of a main verb. The conjugated modal verb goes in position 2, and the main verb in its infinitive form goes to the end of the clause. This creates a ‘verb bracket’.
像 können(能、可以)和 müssen(必须)这样的情态动词会改变主动词的含义。变位的情态动词位于第二位,而主动词的原形位于句末。这就形成了“动词框架”。
Formula: Subject + modal verb (conjugated) + rest + main verb (infinitive at the end).
公式:主语 + 情态动词(变位)+ 其余部分 + 主动词(原形置于句末)。
- Ich kann schwimmen. (I can swim.) / 我会游泳。
- Du musst deine Hausaufgaben machen. (You must do your homework.) / 你必须做家庭作业。
- Wir können am Freitag ins Kino gehen. (We can go to the cinema on Friday.) / 我们周五可以去看电影。
Learn the conjugations as they are slightly irregular: können – ich kann, du kannst, er kann, wir können, ihr könnt, sie können. Müssen – ich muss, du musst, er muss, wir müssen, ihr müsst, sie müssen.
请记住它们的变位,因为略有变化:können – ich kann, du kannst, er kann, wir können, ihr könnt, sie können。Müssen – ich muss, du musst, er muss, wir müssen, ihr müsst, sie müssen。
11. Time Expressions and Frequency Words: Positioning Rules | 时间表达与频率词:位置规则
Time information can open a sentence or follow the verb. Frequency adverbs like oft (often), manchmal (sometimes), immer (always) usually come right after the verb. It is helpful to think of a time slot in position 3.
时间信息可以放在句首,也可以跟在动词之后。频率副词如 oft(经常)、manchmal(有时)、immer(总是)通常紧跟在动词之后。可以把位置 3 看作一个“时间空位”。
Formula with frequency: Subject + verb + frequency word + rest.
频率词公式:主语 + 动词 + 频率词 + 其余部分。
- Ich spiele oft Tennis. (I often play tennis.) / 我经常打网球。
- Sie geht manchmal schwimmen. (She sometimes goes swimming.) / 她有时去游泳。
- Wir machen immer unsere Hausaufgaben. (We always do our homework.) / 我们总是做家庭作业。
If you start with the time phrase, remember the verb-second rule: Am Wochenende spiele ich Tennis. (At the weekend I play tennis.)
如果你把时间短语放在句首,记住动词第二位规则:Am Wochenende spiele ich Tennis.(在周末我打网球。)
12. Describing People and Things: Adjective Endings Made Simple | 描述人与事物:简化版形容词词尾
In Year 7, you mainly use adjectives after the verb ‘sein’ (predicative adjectives), where they take no ending. For attributive adjectives (right before a noun), the basic pattern after definite articles is -e for most forms. This is enough to start correctly.
在 Year 7,你主要在动词“sein”之后使用形容词(表语形容词),此时形容词不加词尾。对于定语形容词(紧挨在名词前),定冠词后的基本模式是大多数形式加 -e。这足以让你正确起步。
Predicative (no change): Der Hund ist groß. (The dog is big.) / 这只狗很大。
表语(无变化):Der Hund ist groß.(这只狗很大。)
Attributive after der/die/das: der große Hund (the big dog), die kleine Katze (the small cat), das alte Buch (the old book).
定语在 der/die/das 之后:der große Hund(那只大狗),die kleine Katze(那只小猫),das alte Buch(那本旧书)。
After indefinite articles, masculine adds -er, feminine -e, neuter -es: ein großer Hund, eine kleine Katze, ein altes Buch. This pattern will be expanded in later years.
不定冠词后,阳性加 -er,阴性加 -e,中性加 -es:ein großer Hund, eine kleine Katze, ein altes Buch。这一模式将在后续年级中进一步扩展。
