CIE Year 8 中文课程为剑桥初中阶段的学习者奠定坚实基础,涵盖必备词汇、语法结构和实际交际技能。本文整合了你需要掌握的核心语言知识,从拼音、汉字到句型和话题文化,采用清晰的双语形式帮助你有信心地复习。

1. Pinyin and Tones | 拼音与声调

Pinyin uses the Latin alphabet to represent the sounds of Mandarin Chinese. Each syllable consists of an initial consonant, a final vowel or vowel group, and a tone mark placed over the main vowel. The four tones plus a neutral tone are crucial for meaning: mā (妈, mother), má (麻, hemp), mǎ (马, horse), mà (骂, scold), and ma (吗, question particle).

拼音用拉丁字母表示汉语普通话的发音。每个音节由声母、韵母和标在主要元音上的声调组成。四个声调和轻声对意义至关重要:mā (妈), má (麻), mǎ (马), mà (骂), ma (吗)。

Pay special attention to tone changes. For example, when two third‑tone syllables appear together, the first one usually changes to second tone: nǐ hǎo becomes ní hǎo in actual speech. The word ‘yī’ (one) also changes tone depending on the following syllable.

特别注意变调。当两个三声相连时,第一个通常读作二声:nǐ hǎo 实际读成 ní hǎo。“一”的声调也会根据后面的音节发生变化。

2. Character Writing and Radicals | 汉字书写与偏旁部首

Chinese characters are built from strokes following a fixed stroke order: horizontal before vertical, top to bottom, left to right, outside before inside, and closing frames last. Recognising radicals helps you guess meaning and look up characters in a dictionary. For example, the radical 氵(sān diǎn shuǐ) relates to water – 河 (hé, river), 海 (hǎi, sea), 洗 (xǐ, wash).

汉字由笔画按照固定笔顺构成:先横后竖、从上到下、从左到右、从外到内、最后封口。认识偏旁部首有助于猜测字义和查字典。例如偏旁 氵(三点水) 与水相关:河、海、洗。

At Year 8 level, you should be able to recognise and write around 300–400 common characters. Practise writing compound characters by breaking them into radical and phonetic components. For instance, 妈 (mother) contains the female radical 女 and the phonetic element 马 (mǎ).

在Year 8阶段,你应能认读和书写约300–400个常用汉字。通过拆分偏旁和声旁来练习合体字,例如“妈”包含女字旁和声旁“马”。

3. Core Vocabulary: Personal Information | 核心词汇:个人信息

Talking about yourself and your family is a key topic. Essential words include: 我 (wǒ, I/me), 你 (nǐ, you), 他/她 (tā, he/she), 名字 (míngzì, name), 年龄 (niánlíng, age), 生日 (shēngrì, birthday), 家人 (jiārén, family members), 爸爸 (bàba, dad), 妈妈 (māma, mum), 哥哥 (gēge, older brother), 姐姐 (jiějie, older sister), 弟弟 (dìdi, younger brother), 妹妹 (mèimei, younger sister).

介绍自己和家人是重要话题。必备词汇有:我、你、他/她、名字、年龄、生日、家人、爸爸、妈妈、哥哥、姐姐、弟弟、妹妹。

You should also know how to describe nationalities with 人 (rén): 中国人 (Zhōngguórén, Chinese), 英国人 (Yīngguórén, British), 美国人 (Měiguórén, American). The question word 哪国人 (nǎ guó rén) asks about nationality.

你还应会用“人”描述国籍:中国人、英国人、美国人。疑问词“哪国人”用来询问国籍。

4. Key Sentence Structures | 关键句型

Subject + Verb + Object is the basic word order: 我喝茶 (Wǒ hē chá, I drink tea). For ‘to be’, use 是 (shì): 他是学生 (Tā shì xuésheng, He is a student). Possession uses 有 (yǒu): 我有一个弟弟 (Wǒ yǒu yí gè dìdi, I have a younger brother). Location is expressed with 在 (zài): 书在桌子上 (Shū zài zhuōzi shàng, The book is on the table).

基本语序是主语+动词+宾语:我喝茶。“是”字句表判断:他是学生。“有”字句表拥有:我有一个弟弟。位置用“在”:书在桌子上。

Adjectives can act as predicates without a verb: 她很漂亮 (Tā hěn piàoliang, She is very pretty). Note that 很 (hěn) is often used as a link even when the meaning is not strongly ‘very’.

形容词可以直接作谓语,不加动词:她很漂亮。注意“很”常作为连接词使用,不一定表示“非常”的意思。

5. Use of Measure Words | 量词的使用

Measure words are used between a number/demonstrative and a noun. The most common is 个 (gè): 一个人 (yí gè rén, one person), 三个苹果 (sān gè píngguǒ, three apples). Others include 本 (běn) for books, 支 (zhī) for pens, 件 (jiàn) for clothes, 条 (tiáo) for long objects, 张 (zhāng) for flat objects, and 杯 (bēi) for cups of drinks.

量词用在数词或指示代词和名词之间。最常用的是“个”:一个人、三个苹果。其他量词有:本(书)、支(笔)、件(衣服)、条(长物)、张(平面物)、杯(饮料)。

When asking ‘how many’, use 几 + measure word + noun (几本书? jǐ běn shū? how many books?) or 多少 (duōshao), which often does not need a measure word: 多少人? (duōshao rén?).

询问数量时用“几”加量词加名词(几本书?)或用“多少”,“多少”后常可省略量词:多少人?

6. Expressing Time and Date | 表达时间与日期

Time expressions usually come before the verb: 我早上七点起床 (Wǒ zǎoshang qī diǎn qǐchuáng, I get up at seven in the morning). Days of the week are expressed with 星期 (xīngqī) plus number: 星期一 (Monday), 星期二 (Tuesday), except Sunday which is 星期天/星期日 (xīngqītiān / xīngqīrì). Months use 月 (yuè): 一月 (January), 二月 (February).

时间词通常放在动词前:我早上七点起床。星期表达法:“星期”加数字:星期一、星期二,星期日/星期天例外。月份用“月”:一月、二月。

To tell the full date, follow the order year-month-day: 2025年4月15日。Clock time uses 点 (diǎn) for o’clock and 分 (fēn) for minutes: 三点二十分 (3:20). Half past uses 半 (bàn): 四点半 (4:30).

完整日期顺序为年月日:2025年4月15日。钟点用“点”和“分”:三点二十分。半小时用“半”:四点半。

7. Question Words and Negation | 疑问词与否定的表达

Common question words include 什么 (shénme, what), 谁 (shéi/shuí, who), 哪 (nǎ, which), 哪儿/哪里 (nǎr/nǎlǐ, where), 怎么 (zěnme, how), 为什么 (wèishénme, why), and 什么时候 (shénme shíhou, when). Yes/no questions can be formed with 吗 (ma) at the end, or by using the verb-not-verb pattern: 你去不去? (Nǐ qù bú qù?, Are you going or not?).

常见疑问词:什么、谁、哪、哪儿/哪里、怎么、为什么、什么时候。是非问句用句末“吗”或正反问形式:你去不去?

Negation is normally made with 不 (bù) for present and future actions or adjectives: 我不吃肉 (Wǒ bù chī ròu, I do not eat meat). For past completed actions, use 没 (méi) or 没有 (méiyǒu): 我没看那个电影 (Wǒ méi kàn nàge diànyǐng, I didn’t watch that movie).

否定通常用“不”表示现在和将来的动作或性质:我不吃肉。过去已完成的动作用“没”或“没有”:我没看那个电影。

8. Using ‘Le’ (了) for Completion and Change | 动态助词“了”的用法

Aspect particle 了 placed after a verb indicates that an action is completed: 我吃了早饭 (Wǒ chī le zǎofàn, I have eaten breakfast). It does not necessarily mean past tense, but rather that the action has been realised. For negation of completed actions, use 没 with the verb and drop 了: 我没吃早饭 (Wǒ méi chī zǎofàn, I didn’t eat breakfast).

动态助词“了”用在动词后表示动作的完成:我吃了早饭。这不等于过去时,而是动作的实现。否定完成时用“没”加动词,去掉“了”:我没吃早饭。

Sentence-final 了 indicates a change of state or a new situation: 下雨了 (Xià yǔ le, It’s raining now / It has started to rain). With adjectives, it suggests a change: 他高了 (Tā gāo le, He has grown taller).

句末“了”表示情况的变化或新状态的出现:下雨了。与形容词连用表示变化:他高了。

9. Making Comparisons | 比较的表达

The basic comparative pattern is A 比 B + adjective: 我比他高 (Wǒ bǐ tā gāo, I am taller than him). To add the degree of difference, you can use 一点儿 (a little) or 得多/多了 (much more): 他比我高一点儿 (Tā bǐ wǒ gāo yìdiǎnr, He is a little taller than me); 这本书比那本贵多了 (Zhè běn shū bǐ nà běn guì duō le, This book is much more expensive than that one).

基本比较句型:A 比 B + 形容词:我比他高。要说明差异程度,可用“一点儿”或“得多/多了”:他比我高一点儿;这本书比那本贵多了。

To say two things are equal, use 跟/和 … 一样 (gen/hé … yíyàng): 我跟你一样大 (Wǒ gēn nǐ yíyàng dà, I am as old as you). The negative is 不一样 or 没有 … 那么: 我没有他高 (Wǒ méiyǒu tā gāo, I am not as tall as him).

表示两者相同用“跟/和……一样”:我跟你一样大。否定用“不一样”或“没有……那么”:我没有他高。

10. Reading Comprehension Skills | 阅读理解技巧

When approaching a reading passage, scan for topic keywords first. Notice time markers (今天, 昨天, 明天, 然后, 以后) to understand the sequence. Identify subject and main verb in each sentence to grasp the core meaning. Guess unfamiliar characters by looking at the radical and context.

阅读短文时,先扫读话题关键词。注意时间标志词(今天、昨天、明天、然后、以后)来理解顺序。识别每个句子的主语和主要动词,抓住核心意思。遇到生字,通过偏旁和上下文猜测词义。

Practice with short texts about daily routines, school life, and weather. Answer questions like ‘who’, ‘when’, ‘where’, ‘why’ after reading. Pay attention to adverbs such as 常常 (often), 总是 (always), 很少 (seldom), which give clues about frequency.

练习阅读有关日常生活、学校生活和天气的短文。读后回答“谁、什么时候、哪里、为什么”等问题。注意副词如“常常、总是、很少”,它们提供频率的线索。

11. Writing Simple Narratives | 简单记叙文写作

At Year 8 level, you are expected to write short paragraphs of 80–120 characters about familiar topics such as ‘My Weekend’ or ‘My School Day’. Start with a topic sentence: 我的周末很有意思 (My weekend is very interesting). Add details in chronological order using 先 (first), 然后 (then), 最后 (finally).

Year 8阶段要求能写80–120字的短文,话题如“我的周末”或“我的一天”。开头写主题句:我的周末很有意思。用“先、然后、最后”按时间顺序补充细节。

Use linking words to make the paragraph coherent: 因为 (because), 所以 (so), 但是 (but), 而且 (moreover). Check your punctuation: Chinese uses 。(period), ,(comma), ?(question mark), !(exclamation mark). Always leave a full stop at the end of a sentence.

使用关联词让段落连贯:因为、所以、但是、而且。检查标点:句号用“。”,逗号用“,”,问号“?”,感叹号“!”。每句末尾加上句号。

Pay attention to character writing: make sure every stroke is clear and the proportions are balanced. Avoid using pinyin in formal writing unless you are unsure of a character; always try to write the character first.

注意汉字书写,笔画清晰,间架结构均匀。正式写作中避免用拼音代替汉字,除非不会写某个字,但要尽量写汉字。

12. Cultural Awareness: Chinese Festivals | 文化意识:中国传统节日

Understanding cultural elements enriches language learning. Key festivals include Spring Festival (春节 Chūn Jié), Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节 Zhōngqiū Jié), Dragon Boat Festival (端午节 Duānwǔ Jié), and Lantern Festival (元宵节 Yuánxiāo Jié). Learn associated activities: 吃饺子 (eat dumplings), 看烟花 (watch fireworks), 吃月饼 (eat mooncakes), 赛龙舟 (dragon boat racing).

了解文化元素能丰富语言学习。重要节日有春节、中秋节、端午节、元宵节。学习相关活动:吃饺子、看烟花、吃月饼、赛龙舟。

You should be able to talk about dates, traditional foods, and customs using simple sentences: 春节在一月或二月。人们吃饺子,贴春联。(Spring Festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings and put up spring couplets.) Such cultural references often appear in reading and listening tasks.

你应该能用简单句子谈论节日日期、传统食品和习俗:春节在一月或二月。人们吃饺子,贴春联。这些文化信息常出现在阅读和听力任务中。

Comparing Chinese festivals with local festivals in your own culture can deepen understanding and provide useful speaking practice. Use 跟……一样/不一样 to draw comparisons.

比较中国节日和本国节日可以加深理解,也是有用的口语练习。用“跟……一样/不一样”进行比较。
