1. Self and Family | 自我与家庭
Describing yourself and your family is one of the first topics you master in Year 9. You need to be able to talk about name, age, birthday, physical appearance, personality and family members, using adjectives with correct agreement.
描述自己和家人是 Year 9 首先要掌握的话题。你需要能够谈论姓名、年龄、生日、外貌、性格和家庭成员,并正确使用形容词的性数配合。
Key phrases include Je m’appelle… / Je suis… / J’ai … ans. To describe someone, you can say Il/Elle est grand(e) et sympa. Remember that most adjectives come after the noun, e.g. une fille intelligente, but some common adjectives like petit, grand, beau, joli, jeune, vieux, bon, mauvais usually go before the noun.
关键表达有我叫…… / 我是…… / 我……岁。描述他人可以说他/她个子高,人很好。记住大部分形容词放在名词后,如一个聪明的女孩(une fille intelligente),但一些常用形容词如小、大、漂亮、年轻、老、好、坏通常前置。
Possessive adjectives must agree with the noun: mon père, ma mère, mes parents. When saying ‘my’ before a feminine singular noun starting with a vowel or silent h, use mon (mon amie).
主有形容词要与名词配合:我的父亲(mon père),我的母亲(ma mère),我的父母(mes parents)。在以元音或哑音 h 开头的阴性单数名词前,要用mon,如mon amie。
2. School Life | 学校生活
In Year 9 you extend your school vocabulary: subjects, teachers, facilities, timetable and opinions with reasons. Use j’aime / je n’aime pas / j’adore / je déteste followed by the definite article, e.g. J’aime le français parce que c’est intéressant.
在 Year 9 你会扩展学校词汇:科目、老师、设施、时间表以及带理由的观点。使用我喜欢 / 我不喜欢 / 我热爱 / 我讨厌后接定冠词,如我喜欢法语,因为它有趣。
To describe your school day, use time expressions such as à huit heures, le lundi, la récréation est à onze heures. Comparisons are useful: Le dessin est plus facile que les maths.
描述学校一天,可用时间表达如在八点,每个星期一,课间休息在十一点。比较级很有用:美术比数学简单。
Below is a short table of common school subjects.
| Subject | French |
|---|---|
| English | l’anglais (m) |
| maths | les maths (f pl) |
| history | l’histoire (f) |
| geography | la géographie |
| science | les sciences (f pl) |
3. Free Time and Hobbies | 休闲与爱好
Talking about hobbies requires the verbs jouer à (sports/games) and jouer de (instruments), as well as faire for general activities. For example: Je joue au foot but Je joue du piano; Je fais de la natation.
谈论爱好需要使用动词jouer à(运动/游戏)和jouer de(乐器),以及用于一般活动的faire。例如:我踢足球,但我弹钢琴;我去游泳。
Express frequency with tous les jours, souvent, quelquefois, une fois par semaine, ne… jamais. Add an opinion: Je trouve la lecture relaxante. Remember to use le / la / les with likes and dislikes: J’aime les jeux vidéo.
用每天、经常、有时、每周一次、从不表达频率。加上观点:我觉得阅读令人放松。表达喜欢与不喜欢时切记用定冠词:我喜欢电子游戏。
4. Food and Drink | 饮食
At this stage you can discuss meals, shopping for food and ordering in a café. The partitive article du, de la, de l’, des means ‘some’ and is essential when talking about food: Je mange du pain, Je bois de l’eau.
到这个阶段你可以讨论一日三餐、购买食物和在咖啡馆点餐。部分冠词du, de la, de l’, des表示“一些”,谈论食物时必不可少:我吃(一些)面包,我喝水。
After a negative, du/de la/des becomes de (or d’): Je ne mange pas de viande. In a café, you can say Je voudrais un croissant et un chocolat chaud, s’il vous plaît.
在否定句中,部分冠词变为de(或 d’):我不吃肉。在咖啡馆,你可以说我想要一个羊角面包和一杯热巧克力,谢谢。
5. Daily Routine | 日常生活
Daily routine is one of the first contexts where you encounter reflexive verbs. These are verbs like se lever, se laver, s’habiller. The reflexive pronoun changes with the subject: je me lève, tu te lèves, il/elle se lève, nous nous levons, vous vous levez, ils/elles se lèvent.
日常生活是首次接触反身动词的重要场景。反身动词如起床、洗漱、穿衣服。反身代词随主语变化:我起床,你起床,他/她起床,我们起床,你们/您起床,他们/她们起床。
Time phrases are combined with reflexive verbs: Je me réveille à sept heures et je me couche à dix heures. In the passé composé, reflexive verbs use être as the auxiliary and the past participle agrees with the subject if it is a direct object: Elle s’est levée tôt.
时间短语与反身动词结合使用:我七点醒,十点睡觉。在复合过去时中,反身动词用 être 作助动词,过去分词若为直接宾语需与主语性数配合:她起得很早。
6. Town and Local Area | 城镇与当地
You can describe your town using il y a (there is/are) and il n’y a pas de (there isn’t/aren’t any). Learn places such as un cinéma, une boulangerie, une piscine, un marché, un parc. Use près de, loin de, à côté de to give locations.
你可以用il y a(有)和il n’y a pas de(没有)来描述你的城镇。学习地点如电影院、面包店、游泳池、市场、公园。使用在……附近、离……远、在……旁边表示方位。
Give opinions with c’est + adjective: C’est animé, joli, tranquille, touristique, pollué. To say what you can do, use on peut + infinitive: On peut faire du shopping.
用c’est + 形容词发表观点:这很热闹、漂亮、安静、游客多、污染严重。要表示你可以做什么,用on peut + 动词原形:我们可以购物。
7. Travel and Holidays | 旅行与假期
Year 9 students should be able to talk about past holidays and dream destinations. Transport prepositions: en voiture, en train, en avion, à vélo, à pied. For holiday activities, use J’ai visité…, J’ai nagé, J’ai pris des photos.
Year 9 学生应能谈论过去的假期和梦想的目的地。交通介词:开车、坐火车、乘飞机、骑自行车、步行。假期活动用我参观了……、我游泳了、我拍了照片。
The passé composé is used to recount holiday experiences. With être verbs, the past participle agrees with the subject: Je suis allé(e) en Espagne, elle est restée à l’hôtel. Weather phrases in the past: Il faisait beau, il y avait du soleil.
使用复合过去时叙述假期经历。用 être 作助动词时,过去分词需与主语配合:我去了西班牙,她待在旅馆。过去的天气表达:天气很好,有阳光。
8. Future Plans | 未来计划
The near future (futur proche) is formed with aller in the present tense + infinitive. This is the go‑to structure for describing plans: Je vais étudier les langues, nous allons voyager.
最近将来时由aller的现在时 + 动词原形构成。这是描述计划最常用的结构:我将学习语言,我们要去旅行。
In Year 9 you also start to recognise the simple future (futur simple) of common verbs, especially irregular stems: je serai, tu auras, il fera, nous irons. Linking both tenses makes your writing more varied.
在 Year 9 你还会开始认识常见动词的简单将来时,尤其是不规则词干:我将是,你将有,他将做/天气将是,我们将去。将两种时态结合使用能让你的写作更丰富。
9. Key Grammar: Present Tense Verbs | 关键语法:现在时动词
Mastering the present tense is essential. Regular -ER verbs (like parler) drop the -er and add -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. Regular -IR verbs (like finir) add -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent. Regular -RE verbs (like vendre) drop -re and add -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent.
掌握现在时至关重要。规则 -ER 动词(如 parler)去掉 -er 加上 -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent。规则 -IR 动词(如 finir)加上 -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent。规则 -RE 动词(如 vendre)去掉 -re 加上 -s, -s, (不添加), -ons, -ez, -ent。
Below are the most important irregular verbs.
| Infinitive | je | tu | il/elle | nous | vous | ils/elles |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| être (to be) | suis | es | est | sommes | êtes | sont |
| avoir (to have) | ai | as | a | avons | avez | ont |
| aller (to go) | vais | vas | va | allons | allez | vont |
| faire (to do/make) | fais | fais | fait | faisons | faites | font |
Revising these verbs daily will significantly improve your spoken and written accuracy.
每天复习这些动词会大大提升口语和写作的准确性。
10. Key Grammar: Adjectives and Agreements | 形容词与配合
French adjectives agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) with the noun they describe. The feminine form is often made by adding -e (grand → grande), but there are many irregular patterns: heureux → heureuse, sportif → sportive, bon → bonne, beau → belle.
法语形容词要与所修饰的名词保持性(阴阳性)、数(单复数)配合。阴性形式通常加 -e(grand → grande),但存在大量不规则变化:heureux → heureuse, sportif → sportive, bon → bonne, beau → belle。
Plural normally adds -s, but if the masculine singular already ends in -s or -x, it stays unchanged: un homme heureux → des hommes heureux. Invariable adjectives like marron, orange, super, cool never change.
复数通常加 -s,但如果阳性单数已以 -s 或 -x 结尾,则保持不变:un homme heureux → des hommes heureux。像marron(栗色的)、orange(橙色的)、super(超级的)、cool等不变形容词在任何情况下都不变。
Comparatives use plus/moins/aussi + adjective + que: Marie est plus grande que Luc. Superlatives: le/la/les plus + adjective.
比较级用plus/moins/aussi + 形容词 + que:玛丽比吕克高。最高级:le/la/les plus + 形容词。
11. Past Tense (passé composé) | 过去时
The passé composé is the main past tense used in conversation. It is formed with the present tense of avoir or être + past participle. Most verbs take avoir: J’ai mangé, tu as fini, il a vendu.
复合过去时是口语中最主要的过去时态。它由avoir或être的现在时 + 过去分词构成。大多数动词用avoir:我吃了,你完成了,他卖了。
Verbs that take être are mainly movement or state‑changing verbs, often remembered by ‘Dr & Mrs Vandertramp’. The past participle then agrees with the subject: Elle est allée, nous sommes restés.
用être作助动词的主要是运动或状态变化动词,常用 “Dr & Mrs Vandertramp” 记忆。此时过去分词与主语性数配合:她去了,我们留下了。
Regular past participles: -ER → -é, -IR → -i, -RE → -u. Irregular ones must be memorised: avoir → eu, être → été, faire → fait, prendre → pris, voir → vu, lire → lu, écrire → écrit.
规则过去分词:-ER 变 -é,-IR 变 -i,-RE 变 -u。不规则的必须牢记:avoir → eu, être → été, faire → fait, prendre → pris, voir → vu, lire → lu, écrire → écrit。
12. Negatives and Questions | 否定与疑问
Basic negation uses ne … pas around the conjugated verb: Je ne parle pas anglais. In the passé composé, ne … pas wraps around the auxiliary: Je n’ai pas mangé. Other negative expressions: ne … jamais (never), ne … rien (nothing), ne … personne (nobody).
基本否定将ne … pas放在变位动词两边:我不说英语。在复合过去时中,ne … pas包裹助动词:我没吃。其他否定表达:从不(ne … jamais)、没有什么(ne … rien)、没有人(ne … personne)。
Questions can be formed in three ways: simply raising your voice (Tu viens ?), using est-ce que (Est-ce que tu viens ?), or inversion (Viens-tu ?). Inversion is more formal but appears in reading and writing. Question words: quand, où, comment, pourquoi, combien, qu’est-ce que.
疑问句有三种构成方式:语调上扬(你来吗?),使用est-ce que(Est-ce que tu viens ?),或主谓倒装(Viens-tu ?)。倒装更正式,但会出现在读写中。疑问词有:什么时候、哪里、怎样、为什么、多少、什么。
Practise switching between the three forms to gain fluency and confidence in conversation.
练习在三种形式之间切换,以提升对话流利度和自信心。
