Once you know the formula, you can apply it over and over again. This guide presents the most essential language ‘theorems’ you will use in your GCSE course, from present tense conjugation to the subjunctive mood, all arranged for rapid revision.
欢迎使用这本为 Year 10 Eduqas 西班牙语课程专门设计的速查手册。我们可以把语法看作一套公式和经过验证的定理:每个动词词尾、代词位置和句子结构都遵循可预测的模式。只要掌握了公式,就能反复套用。本手册将呈现 GCSE 课程中最核心的语言“定理”,从现在时变位到虚拟式,全部按快速复习的方式编排。
1. Present Tense Conjugations: The Master Formula | 现在时变位:主公式
The present tense in Spanish relies on three clear infinitive endings: -AR, -ER and -IR. The conjugation formula removes the ending and adds a fixed set of personal endings. Treat these endings as a theorem: once you have learned the pattern for one regular verb, you can conjugate hundreds.
西班牙语的现在时依赖三种明确的不定式结尾:-AR、-ER 和 -IR。变位公式是去掉词尾,然后加上一套固定的人称词尾。把这些词尾看作一条定理:一旦掌握了一个规则动词的模式,你就能变位数百个动词。
| Pronoun | -AR (hablar) | -ER (comer) | -IR (vivir) |
|---|---|---|---|
| yo | hablo | como | vivo |
| tú | hablas | comes | vives |
| él/ella/usted | habla | come | vive |
| nosotros/as | hablamos | comemos | vivimos |
| vosotros/as | habláis | coméis | vivís |
| ellos/ellas/ustedes | hablan | comen | viven |
The formula becomes even more powerful when you notice that the -ER and -IR endings are nearly identical except in the ‘nosotros’ and ‘vosotros’ forms. Remember this theorem: ‘o, as, a, amos, áis, an’ for -AR, and for -ER/-IR use ‘o, es, e, emos/imos, éis/ís, en’.
当你发现 -ER 和 -IR 的词尾除了“我们”和“你们”形式以外几乎完全相同时,这个公式就变得更强大了。记住这条定理:-AR 动词用“o, as, a, amos, áis, an”,而 -ER/-IR 动词用“o, es, e, emos/imos, éis/ís, en”。
2. Ser vs Estar: The Two ‘To Be’ Theorems | Ser 与 Estar:“是”的两个定理
Both ‘ser’ and ‘estar’ mean ‘to be’, but they follow distinct theorems based on the nature of the attribute. Think of ‘ser’ as the identity and permanent quality theorem, and ‘estar’ as the condition and location theorem. The acronyms DOCTOR (ser) and PLACE (estar) act as proof statements.
“ser”和“estar”都表示“是”,但它们遵循不同的定理,取决于属性的性质。可以把“ser”看作身份和永久特征定理,把“estar”看作状态和位置定理。首字母口诀 DOCTOR(ser)和 PLACE(estar)就是证明陈述。
- Ser – DOCTOR: Description, Occupation, Characteristic, Time, Origin, Relationship
- Estar – PLACE: Position, Location, Action (gerund), Condition, Emotion
核心定理为:Ser 用于永久属性与身份 —— 描述、职业、特征、时间、来源、关系;Estar 用于状态与位置 —— 姿势、地点、进行动作、状况、情绪。
For example, ‘Él es alto’ (he is tall – an inherent characteristic) applies the ser theorem, whereas ‘Él está cansado’ (he is tired – a temporary condition) applies the estar theorem. Note the formula for present tense conjugation of these irregular verbs: ser (soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son) and estar (estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están).
例如,“Él es alto”(他个子高——天生特征)运用了 ser 定理;而“Él está cansado”(他累了——临时状态)则运用了 estar 定理。注意这两个不规则动词的现在时变位公式:ser(soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son),estar(estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están)。
3. The Preterite Tense: Simple Past Formula | 简单过去时:过去公式
The preterite tense is the theorem for completed actions in the past. Its formula relies on a different set of endings that you attach after removing the -AR, -ER or -IR ending. The key distinction from the present is the accent on the first and third person singular, which gives the past its rhythmic signature.
简单过去时是表示过去已完成动作的定理。其公式要求在去掉 -AR、-ER 或 -IR 结尾后加上另一套词尾。与现在时的关键区别在于第一和第三人称单数带有重音符号,这赋予了过去时特有的节奏感。
| Pronoun | -AR (hablar) | -ER/-IR (comer/vivir) |
|---|---|---|
| yo | hablé | comí / viví |
| tú | hablaste | comiste / viviste |
| él/ella/usted | habló | comió / vivió |
| nosotros | hablamos | comimos / vivimos |
| vosotros | hablasteis | comisteis / vivisteis |
| ellos/ellas/ustedes | hablaron | comieron / vivieron |
The formula theorem: -AR preterite endings are é, aste, ó, amos, asteis, aron. -ER and -IR are identical: í, iste, ió, imos, isteis, ieron. Watch out for stem-changing -IR verbs that shift their stem in the third person singular and plural (e.g. dormir → durmió, durmieron).
公式定理是:-AR 简单过去时词尾为 é, aste, ó, amos, asteis, aron。-ER 和 -IR 完全相同:í, iste, ió, imos, isteis, ieron。要留意那些在第三人称单复数中改变词干的 -IR 词干变化动词(例如 dormir → durmió, durmieron)。
4. The Imperfect Tense: Describing the Past | 过去未完成时:描述过去的定理
The imperfect tense is the theorem for ongoing, habitual or descriptive past actions. It is arguably the most regular tense in Spanish, with only three irregular verbs (ser, ir, ver). Use the simple formula: for -AR verbs add aba, abas, aba, ábamos, abais, aban; for -ER/-IR verbs add ía, ías, ía, íamos, íais, ían.
过去未完成时是表示过去持续动作、习惯性动作或描述性动作的定理。它可以说是西班牙语中最规则的时态,只有三个不规则动词(ser, ir, ver)。运用这个简单公式:-AR 动词加 aba, abas, aba, ábamos, abais, aban;-ER/-IR 动词加 ía, ías, ía, íamos, íais, ían。
A classic application of this theorem is setting the scene: ‘Cuando era pequeño, siempre jugaba en el parque’ (When I was little, I always used to play in the park). The imperfect here expresses habitual action, perfectly captured by the aba/ía ending.
这个定理的一个经典应用就是描写场景:“Cuando era pequeño, siempre jugaba en el parque”(我小的时候,总在公园里玩)。这里的过去未完成时表达习惯性动作,通过 aba/ía 词尾完美体现。
5. Near Future (ir a + infinitive) Formula | 近将来时公式:ir a + 原形
The immediate future formula is one of the simplest and most powerful theorems in Spanish. It consists of three parts: conjugated form of ‘ir’ + ‘a’ + infinitive of the main verb. This mirrors the English ‘going to’ structure and lets you talk about future plans without learning a separate future conjugation.
近将来时公式是西班牙语中最简单、也最实用的定理之一。它由三部分组成:动词“ir”的变位形式 + “a” + 主要动词的不定式。这与英语“going to”的结构相似,让你无需学习独立的将来时变位就能谈论未来计划。
voy a + infinitive, vas a + infinitive, va a + infinitive, vamos a + infinitive, vais a + infinitive, van a + infinitive
The theorem also works in any tense by simply conjugating ‘ir’ appropriately, for example in the imperfect: ‘Iba a estudiar’ (I was going to study). This makes it an extremely versatile construction for GCSE writing and speaking.
该定理在任意时态中都能使用,只需相应变位“ir”即可,例如在过去未完成时中:“Iba a estudiar”(我那时打算学习)。这使它成为 GCSE 写作和口语中极为实用的结构。
6. Simple Future Tense Formula | 简单将来时公式
The simple future tense in Spanish follows a unique theorem: instead of removing the infinitive ending, you attach the future endings directly to the whole infinitive. The endings are the same for all -AR, -ER and -IR verbs and are based on the conjugation of ‘haber’: é, ás, á, emos, éis, án.
西班牙语的简单将来时遵循一条独特的定理:不是去掉不定式词尾,而是将将来时词尾直接附加在整个不定式上。这些词尾对所有 -AR、-ER 和 -IR 动词都一样,并且源于“haber”的变位:é, ás, á, emos, éis, án。
| Pronoun | hablar | comer | vivir |
|---|---|---|---|
| yo | hablaré | comeré | viviré |
| tú | hablarás | comerás | vivirás |
| él/ella/usted | hablará | comerá | vivirá |
| nosotros | hablaremos | comeremos | viviremos |
| vosotros | hablaréis | comeréis | viviréis |
| ellos/ellas/ustedes | hablarán | comerán | vivirán |
There is a small set of irregular stems, but they all share the same endings: decir → dir-, hacer → har-, poder → podr-, poner → pondr-, querer → querr-, saber → sabr-, salir → saldr-, tener → tendr-, venir → vendr-. The theorem remains identical, only the stem changes.
有一小组不规则词干,但它们都共用同一套词尾:decir → dir-, hacer → har-, poder → podr-, poner → pondr-, querer → querr-, saber → sabr-, salir → saldr-, tener → tendr-, venir → vendr-。定理完全相同,只有词干变了。
7. Conditional Tense: ‘Would’ Formula | 条件时态:“会”的公式
The conditional tense is the theorem for expressing what you ‘would’ do, hypothetical situations and polite requests. It is formed by attaching the endings ía, ías, ía, íamos, íais, ían to the same infinitive stem used for the future tense, including the irregular stems.
条件时态是用来表达“会”做什么、假设情境以及礼貌请求的定理。它的构成方式是将词尾 ía, ías, ía, íamos, íais, ían 附加在与将来时相同的不定式词干上,包括那些不规则词干。
For instance, ‘Me gustaría viajar’ (I would like to travel) uses the conditional of ‘gustar’. The formula is highly predictable: take the full infinitive, add the conditional endings. This theorem works for all regular verbs without exception.
例如,“Me gustaría viajar”(我很想去旅游)就使用了“gustar”的条件式。这个公式极为可预测:取整个不定式,加上条件式词尾。这条定理对所有规则动词没有例外。
8. Perfect Tense: ‘Have Done’ Formula | 现在完成时:“做过”的公式
The perfect tense, equivalent to ‘have done’ in English, is built on a two-part theorem: present tense of the auxiliary verb ‘haber’ + past participle. The past participle formula is also regular: for -AR verbs replace -AR with -ado, for -ER/-IR verbs replace with -ido.
现在完成时,相当于英语的“have done”,建立在一个两部分定理之上:助动词“haber”的现在时 + 过去分词。过去分词的公式也是规则的:-AR 动词把 -AR 换成 -ado,-ER/-IR 动词换成 -ido。
he + hablado/comido/vivido, has + hablado…, ha + hablado…, hemos + hablado…, habéis + hablado…, han + hablado…
However, there is a list of common irregular past participles that you must memorise: abrir → abierto, decir → dicho, escribir → escrito, hacer → hecho, poner → puesto, ver → visto, volver → vuelto, among others. These are part of the theorem’s exception clause.
然而,有一组常用的不规则过去分词必须记忆:abrir → abierto, decir → dicho, escribir → escrito, hacer → hecho, poner → puesto, ver → visto, volver → vuelto 等。这些属于定理的例外条款。
9. The Subjunctive Mood: Trigger and Conjugation Theorem | 虚拟语气:触发器与变位定理
The present subjunctive is a mood, not a tense, and operates on a clear transformation theorem: take the first person singular (yo) of the present indicative, remove the -o, and add the opposite vowel endings. For -AR verbs add -e, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en; for -ER/-IR verbs add -a, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an.
现在虚拟式是一种语式,而非时态,它遵循一条清晰的转换定理:取陈述式现在时第一人称单数(yo)形式,去掉 -o,然后加上相反的元音词尾。-AR 动词加 -e, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en;-ER/-IR 动词加 -a, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an。
The trigger theorem states that the subjunctive must appear in a subordinate clause introduced by ‘que’ after specific expressions: emotion, doubt, desire, impersonal expressions, and certain conjunctions (e.g. para que, a menos que). The WEIRDO acronym (Wishes, Emotions, Impersonal expressions, Recommendations, Doubt/Denial, Ojalá) encapsulates the triggers.
触发器定理指出,虚拟式必须出现在由“que”引导的从句中,且位于特定表达之后:情绪、怀疑、愿望、无人称表达以及某些连词(如 para que, a menos que)。首字母口诀 WEIRDO(愿望、情绪、无人称、推荐、怀疑/否定、Ojalá)概括了这些触发器。
For example, ‘Quiero que tú hables’ applies the subjunctive theorem (hables) because ‘querer que’ is a desire trigger. If there is no change of subject, the infinitive is used instead: ‘Quiero hablar’.
例如,“Quiero que tú hables” 运用了虚拟式定理(hables),因为“querer que”是愿望触发器。如果没有主语变更,则使用不定式:“Quiero hablar”。
10. Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns Placement Rules | 直接与间接宾语代词的位置规则
Object pronouns in Spanish follow strict placement theorems. The first theorem states: the pronoun comes immediately before a conjugated verb. For example, ‘Lo veo’ (I see him/it). The second theorem says: the pronoun can either come before the conjugated auxiliary or be attached to the end of an infinitive or gerund.
西班牙语中的宾语代词遵循严格的位置定理。第一条定理:代词紧挨在变位动词之前。例如,“Lo veo”(我看见他/它)。第二条定理:代词既可以放在变位助动词之前,也可以附着在不定式或副动词的末尾。
Consider the perfect tense: ‘Lo he visto’ (I have seen it) follows the pre-auxiliary rule. With an infinitive: ‘Voy a verlo’ or ‘Lo voy a ver’ are both valid. The attached form requires an accent mark to preserve the original stress: comprar → comprarlo, dando → dándome.
请看现在完成时的例子:“Lo he visto”(我已经看见了)遵循助动词前置规则。与不定式连用时,“Voy a verlo”和“Lo voy a ver”都正确。附着写法需要加重音符号以保持原有的重音位置:comprar → comprarlo,dando → dándome。
11. Key Prepositions: Por vs Para Distinction | 关键介词:Por 与 Para 的区分定理
The por vs para distinction often confuses learners, but it can be reduced to a directional theorem: ‘para’ looks forward to a destination, purpose, recipient or deadline, while ‘por’ looks backward to a cause, reason, exchange or means of transport/communication. Think ‘para’ equals objective, ‘por’ explains the motive or passage.
12. Gustar and Similar Verbs: Reverse Formula | Gustar 及类似动词:反向公式定理
The verb ‘gustar’ does not mean ‘to like’ in the typical sense; it operates on a reverse subject-object theorem. The thing being liked is actually the grammatical subject, and the person who likes it is expressed as an indirect object pronoun. This gives rise to the formula: indirect object pronoun (me, te, le, nos, os, les) + gusta/gustan + singular/plural subject.
动词“gustar”并不像一般意义那样表示“like”;它遵循一条反向主谓宾定理。被喜欢的事物实际上是语法主语,而喜欢该事物的人则用间接宾语代词来表达。由此产生了公式:间接宾语代词(me, te, le, nos, os, les)+ gusta/gustan + 单数/复数主语。
Me gusta el chocolate. Me gustan los gatos.
This theorem extends to similar verbs: encantar (to love), interesar (to interest), doler (to hurt), importar (to matter). All follow the same pattern. The optional prepositional phrase clarifies who the pronoun refers to: ‘A mí me gusta’ emphasises ‘I like it’.
这个定理也延伸到类似动词:encantar(迷恋)、interesar(感兴趣)、doler(使疼痛)、importar(要紧)。它们都遵循同样的模式。可选的介词短语用来澄清代词所指:“A mí me gusta”强调“我喜欢”。
