This revision guide provides a comprehensive overview of the key knowledge areas you need to revise, from essential tenses to common errors, along with practical exam strategies.

随着CAIE IGCSE法语考试(0520或0521)临近,掌握核心语法、词汇和技能是取得高分的必要条件。本复习指南全面梳理了你需要复习的关键知识点,从基础时态到常见错误,并提供实用的应试策略。

1. Essential Tenses and Conjugations | 基础时态与变位

The present tense is used for habitual actions, general facts, and actions happening right now. For regular -er verbs like ‘parler’, remove -er and add -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. For -ir verbs such as ‘finir’, remove -ir and add -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent. For -re verbs like ‘vendre’, remove -re and add -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent.

现在时用来表达习惯动作、普遍事实以及正在发生的动作。对于规则 -er 动词(如 parler),去掉 -er 后加上 -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent。对于 -ir 动词(如 finir),去掉 -ir 后加上 -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent。对于 -re 动词(如 vendre),去掉 -re 后加上 -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent。

Je parle français. – I speak French.

The perfect tense (le passé composé) describes completed past actions. It is formed with the present tense of avoir or être + past participle. Most verbs use avoir; the past participle of -er verbs ends in -é, -ir in -i, and -re in -u. A limited set of verbs (DR MRS VANDERTRAMP) use être, and the past participle then agrees in gender and number with the subject.

复合过去时(le passé composé)描述已完成的过去动作。构成为 avoir 或 être 的现在时加上过去分词。多数动词使用 avoir;-er 动词的过去分词以 -é 结尾,-ir 以 -i 结尾,-re 以 -u 结尾。有一组特定动词(DR MRS VANDERTRAMP)使用 être,此时过去分词须与主语性数配合。

J’ai mangé une pomme. / Elle est allée au cinéma.

The imperfect tense (l’imparfait) is used for descriptions in the past, habitual past actions, and ongoing states. Take the nous form of the present tense, drop -ons, and add -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient. The only irregular stem is ‘ét-‘ for être.

未完成过去时(l’imparfait)用于过去描述、过去习惯动作和持续状态。取现在时 nous 人称的词干,去掉 -ons 后加上 -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient。唯一不规则词干是 être 的 ét-。

Quand j’étais petit, je jouais souvent dans le jardin.

The simple future (le futur simple) is formed by adding -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont to the infinitive for most verbs. Irregular stems must be memorised, e.g. ‘être’ → ser-, ‘avoir’ → aur-, ‘faire’ → fer-, ‘aller’ → ir-.

简单将来时(le futur simple)由不定式加上 -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont 构成,多数动词直接添加。不规则词干需专门记忆,如 être → ser-、avoir → aur-、faire → fer-、aller → ir-。

Nous irons à la plage demain.

The conditional (le conditionnel) uses the same stems as the future tense, with imperfect endings (-ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient). It expresses ‘would’ or polite requests.

条件式(le conditionnel)使用与将来时相同的词干,末尾接未完成过去时词尾(-ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient)。用于表达“会、将”或礼貌请求。

Je voudrais un café, s’il vous plaît.

The subjunctive (le subjonctif) appears after certain conjunctions and expressions such as ‘il faut que’, ‘pour que’, ‘bien que’. For regular verbs, take the ils/elles form of the present tense, drop -ent, and add -e, -es, -e, -ions, -iez, -ent. In CAIE IGCSE, recognition is more important than active production, but using it can add sophistication to your writing.

虚拟式(le subjonctif)出现在某些连词和表达后,如 il faut que、pour que、bien que。对于规则动词,取现在时 ils/elles 人称变位,去掉 -ent 后加上 -e, -es, -e, -ions, -iez, -ent。在CAIE IGCSE中,识别比主动使用更重要,但运用虚拟式能为写作增色。

Il faut que tu fasses tes devoirs.

2. Key Irregular Verbs | 重要不规则动词

Irregular verbs are the backbone of everyday French. You must know the present tense conjugations of être, avoir, aller, faire, pouvoir, vouloir, devoir, savoir, venir, prendre, mettre, and their past participles.

3. Pronouns and Their Placement | 代词及其位置

Subject pronouns (je, tu, il, etc.) start the sentence. Direct object pronouns (me, te, le, la, nous, vous, les) replace the noun that receives the action directly. Indirect object pronouns (me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur) replace a noun preceded by à. They are placed before the conjugated verb, and in the perfect tense before the auxiliary: ‘Je l’ai vu.’ In negative sentences, ne precedes the pronoun and the verb: ‘Je ne le vois pas.’ When there are two pronouns, the order is me/te/se/nous/vous → le/la/les → lui/leur → y → en. In the imperative affirmative, pronouns follow the verb and are hyphenated: ‘Donne-le-moi!’

主语代词(je, tu, il 等)引导句子。直接宾语代词(me, te, le, la, nous, vous, les)替代直接接受动作的名词。间接宾语代词(me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur)替代由 à 引导的名词。它们放在变位动词之前,在复合过去时中置于助动词前:Je l’ai vu。在否定句中,ne 放在代词和动词之前:Je ne le vois pas。当同时出现两个代词时,顺序为 me/te/se/nous/vous → le/la/les → lui/leur → y → en。在肯定祈使句中,代词跟在动词后并用连字符连接:Donne-le-moi!

Je lui ai donné le livre. → Je le lui ai donné.

4. Articles and Nouns | 冠词与名词

French nouns have gender (masculine or feminine) and number. Definite articles are le (m), la (f), l’ (before vowel), les (pl). Indefinite articles are un (m), une (f), des (pl). Partitive articles (du, de la, de l’, des) express an unspecified quantity. After a negative, indefinite and partitive articles become ‘de’ or ‘d”: ‘J’ai une pomme’ → ‘Je n’ai pas de pomme.’ Know common noun endings that indicate gender, e.g. -tion, -sion, -té are usually feminine; -age, -ment, -eau are usually masculine.

法语名词有性和数。定冠词为 le(阳)、la(阴)、l’(元音前)、les(复)。不定冠词为 un(阳)、une(阴)、des(复)。部分冠词(du, de la, de l’, des)表示不确指的量。否定句中,不定冠词和部分冠词变为 de 或 d’:J’ai une pomme → Je n’ai pas de pomme。熟悉常见名词性数词尾规律,如 -tion、-sion、-té 通常为阴性,-age、-ment、-eau 通常为阳性。

5. Adjectives and Agreement | 形容词与配合

Adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun they describe, usually by adding -e for feminine, -s for plural, and -es for feminine plural. Most adjectives follow the noun, but a few common ones (Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size – BAGS) precede: beau, vieux, bon, grand. Comparative forms use plus/moins/aussi + adjective + que. The superlative uses le/la/les plus/moins + adjective. Irregular forms include bon → meilleur, mauvais → pire, bien → mieux.

形容词在性和数上要与所修饰的名词配合,通常阴性加 -e,复数加 -s,阴性复数加 -es。大多数形容词位于名词之后,但一些常用词(BAGS——美丑、年龄、好坏、大小)放在名词前面:beau, vieux, bon, grand。比较级用 plus/moins/aussi + 形容词 + que。最高级用 le/la/les plus/moins + 形容词。不规则变化有 bon → meilleur、mauvais → pire、bien → mieux。

Elle est plus intelligente que son frère. C’est la meilleure élève de la classe.

6. Negation and Questions | 否定与疑问句

Basic negation uses ne … pas around the conjugated verb. In compound tenses, ne … pas goes around the auxiliary: ‘Je n’ai pas compris.’ Other negative expressions include ne … jamais (never), ne … plus (no longer), ne … rien (nothing), ne … personne (nobody). Note that personne follows the past participle: ‘Je n’ai vu personne.’ Asking questions can be done by raising intonation, using ‘est-ce que’, or with inversion. Inversion swaps the subject pronoun and verb with a hyphen: ‘Parlez-vous anglais?’ For subjects that are nouns, use a double subject: ‘Marie, a-t-elle faim?’

基本否定结构为 ne … pas 环绕变位动词。复合时态中,ne … pas 环绕助动词:Je n’ai pas compris。其他否定表达包括 ne … jamais(从不)、ne … plus(不再)、ne … rien(没有什么)、ne … personne(没有人)。注意 personne 放在过去分词之后:Je n’ai vu personne。提问可通过语调上扬、使用 est-ce que 或主谓倒装实现。倒装将主语代词和动词位置对调并用连字符连接:Parlez-vous anglais? 若主语是名词,使用双主语结构:Marie, a-t-elle faim?

7. Prepositions and Idiomatic Expressions | 介词与习语

Essential prepositions: à (to, at), de (of, from), en (in), dans (in/inside), sur (on), sous (under), avec (with), pour (for), sans (without). For geographical locations, use en + feminine country, au + masculine country, aux + plural country, and à + city. Common idiomatic expressions: avoir faim (to be hungry), avoir soif (to be thirsty), avoir chaud/froid, avoir besoin de (to need), avoir envie de (to feel like), faire attention à (to pay attention). Conjunctions like ‘parce que’ (because) and ‘cependant’ (however) help structure your writing.

重要介词:à(去、在)、de(从、关于)、en(在)、dans(在…里面)、sur(在…上面)、sous(在…下面)、avec(和)、pour(为了)、sans(没有)。地理介词中,用 en + 阴性国名,au + 阳性国名,aux + 复数国名,à + 城市。常用习语:avoir faim(饿)、avoir soif(渴)、avoir chaud/froid(热/冷)、avoir besoin de(需要)、avoir envie de(想要)、faire attention à(注意)。诸如 parce que(因为)和 cependant(然而)等连词有助于文章结构。

8. Vocabulary Themes and Speaking Topics | 词汇主题与会话话题

The CAIE IGCSE French syllabus covers five broad areas: everyday activities, personal and social life, the world around us, the international world, and the world of work and education. Revise topic-specific vocabulary for home and school, free time, holidays, health, environment, technology, and future plans. For the speaking exam, practise describing a picture, engaging in a role play, and having a conversation about two topics. High-frequency phrases such as ‘à mon avis’ (in my opinion), ‘ce que j’aime le plus, c’est…’ and ‘je dirais que…’ will enrich your answers.

CAIE IGCSE法语大纲涵盖五大领域:日常活动、个人与社会生活、我们周围的世界、国际世界以及工作与教育。复习与家庭、学校、休闲、假期、健康、环境、科技和未来规划相关的主题词汇。口语考试中,练习描述图片、角色扮演并就两个话题展开对话。高频表达如 à mon avis(依我看)、ce que j’aime le plus, c’est…(我最喜欢的是…)和 je dirais que…(我会说…)能丰富你的回答。

9. Listening and Reading Strategies | 听力与阅读策略

Before the listening test begins, read the questions carefully and underline keywords. During the first play, note down essential information; during the second play, fill in gaps and check your answers. Be aware of synonyms and paraphrasing. For the reading paper, skim the text quickly to grasp the main idea, then scan for specific details. For answering questions in French, ensure your answer is grammatically correct and rephrases the question. Manage your time so that you leave about 10 minutes for the final text and its questions.

听力测试开始前,仔细阅读问题并划出关键词。第一遍播放时记录重要信息;第二遍播放时补全并核对答案。注意同义词和转述。对于阅读卷,快速浏览全文掌握大意,然后寻找具体细节。用法语回答问题时,确保语法正确并改写问题。合理分配时间,为最后一篇阅读及其问题留出约10分钟。

10. Writing Skills for the Exam | 写作应试技巧

CAIE IGCSE French writing (Paper 4) requires a short message, an extended piece, and often a longer composition. Always plan before writing: list key vocabulary, select appropriate tenses, and structure your paragraphs. Use a variety of connectives such as tout d’abord (first of all), ensuite (then), de plus (furthermore), pourtant (however), donc (therefore), and en conclusion (in conclusion). Check your work systematically: subject-verb agreement, gender/number of nouns and adjectives, correct auxiliary and past participle agreement, and pronoun placement. A well-structured answer with accurate grammar scores higher than a long, error-filled one.

CAIE IGCSE法语写作(试卷四)要求撰写短信、较长的短文,通常是更长的作文。写作前务必规划:列出关键词汇,选择合适时态,并构建段落结构。使用多样的连接词,如 tout d’abord(首先)、ensuite(然后)、de plus(此外)、pourtant(然而)、donc(因此)和 en conclusion(总之)。系统检查:主谓一致、名词和形容词的性数配合、正确的助动词和过去分词配合以及代词位置。结构清晰、语法准确的回答比一篇冗长而错误百出的文章得分更高。

11. Common Errors to Avoid | 常见错误避免

Avoid mixing up ‘être’ and ‘avoir’ in the perfect tense; learn the DR MRS VANDERTRAMP list by heart. Do not forget to make the past participle agree with the subject when using être, and with a preceding direct object when using avoir (e.g. ‘les pommes que j’ai mangées’). Watch out for false friends: ‘actuellement’ means currently, not actually; ‘librairie’ is a bookshop, not a library. Ensure that adjective endings match the noun, and never drop the article in front of nouns unless a negative construction requires it. Finally, keep your writing in a consistent tense: do not jump randomly between present and past.

12. Exam Day Tips | 考试日建议

Get a good night’s sleep and eat a proper meal before the exam. In the listening test, stay calm if you miss a word; focus on the overall meaning. For writing and speaking, aim for accuracy over complexity if you are unsure. Use the final minutes of each paper to review your answers, particularly spellings and agreements. In the speaking test, listen to the examiner’s questions carefully, and don’t be afraid to ask ‘Pouvez-vous répéter, s’il vous plaît?’ if needed. Confidence and clear pronunciation leave a strong impression.

考前保证充足睡眠、合理饮食。听力考试中,如果漏听某个词不要慌张,紧抓整体意思。写作和口语表达中,若不确信则宁可准确而不要过度追求复杂。每份试卷留出最后几分钟用于检查,尤其留意拼写和配合。口语考试中仔细倾听考官提问,必要时敢于请求:“Pouvez-vous répéter, s’il vous plaît?”自信的态度和清晰的发音会留下深刻印象。
