1. Present Tense Regular Verbs | 现在时规则动词

Regular verbs in Spanish are divided into three conjugations: -ar, -er, and -ir. In the present tense, each conjugation follows a predictable set of endings that reflect the subject pronoun. For -ar verbs like hablar (to speak), the endings are -o, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an. For -er verbs such as comer (to eat), the pattern is -o, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en. For -ir verbs like vivir (to live), the endings are -o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en. Note that the first-person singular always ends in -o, and the vosotros form adds an accent on the vowel for -ar and -er, but -ir verbs use -ís without accent on the i in modern standard spelling.

规则动词在西班牙语中分为三类变位:-ar、-er 和 -ir。在现在时中,每个变位按主语人称使用一套固定的词尾。以 hablar(说话)这类 -ar 动词为例,词尾为 -o、-as、-a、-amos、-áis、-an。以 comer(吃)这类 -er 动词为例,模式为 -o、-es、-e、-emos、-éis、-en。以 vivir(生活)这类 -ir 动词为例,词尾为 -o、-es、-e、-imos、-ís、-en。请注意,第一人称单数总是以 -o 结尾,vosotros 形态中 -ar 和 -er 动词在元音上加重音符号,而 -ir 动词使用 -ís,i 上不带重音。

Subject Hablar Comer Vivir
yo hablo como vivo
tu hablas comes vives
el/ella/usted habla come vive
nosotros/as hablamos comemos vivimos
vosotros/as hablais comeis vivis
ellos/ellas/ustedes hablan comen viven

2. Irregular Verbs in the Present Tense | 现在时不规则动词

Several high-frequency verbs are irregular in the present tense and must be memorised individually. The most critical include ser (to be), estar (to be), ir (to go), tener (to have), hacer (to do/make), poner (to put), salir (to go out), decir (to say), and venir (to come). Many irregulars share patterns: for instance, tener and venir are stem-changing and have irregular first-person forms (tengo, vengo). Verbs like hacer become hago in the yo form. Poner and salir add -go (pongo, salgo). Decir follows e to i stem change and the yo form is digo. Stem-changing verbs (e → ie, o → ue, e → i) also affect all forms except nosotros and vosotros, as in pensar (pienso), poder (puedo), and pedir (pido).

一些高频动词在现在时中是不规则的,需要单独记忆。最关键的包括 ser(是)、estar(是/在)、ir(去)、tener(有)、hacer(做)、poner(放置)、salir(外出)、decir(说)和 venir(来)。许多不规则动词共享规律:例如 tener 和 venir 是词干变化动词,且第一人称单数形式不规则(tengo, vengo)。像 hacer 这样的动词在 yo 式中变成 hago。poner 和 salir 加 -go(pongo, salgo)。decir 遵循 e 变 i 的词干变化,yo 式为 digo。词干变化动词(e → ie, o → ue, e → i)也影响除 nosotros 和 vosotros 之外的所有人称,如 pensar(pienso)、poder(puedo)和 pedir(pido)。

  • Ser: soy, eres, es, somos, sois, son
  • Estar: estoy, estas, esta, estamos, estais, estan
  • Ir: voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van
  • Tener: tengo, tienes, tiene, tenemos, teneis, tienen
  • Hacer: hago, haces, hace, hacemos, haceis, hacen
  • Poner: pongo, pones, pone, ponemos, poneis, ponen
  • Salir: salgo, sales, sale, salimos, salis, salen
  • Decir: digo, dices, dice, decimos, decis, dicen
  • Venir: vengo, vienes, viene, venimos, venis, vienen

掌握这些不规则形式对于构建基本句子至关重要。许多常用短语如 tener que + infinitivo(必须做某事)和 ir a + infinitivo(打算做某事)都依赖这些不规则动词,因此在写作和口语中要特别注意其正确变位。

3. Preterite (Simple Past) Tense | 简单过去时

The preterite tense is used to describe completed actions in the past with a clear beginning or end. Regular -ar verbs take the endings -e, -aste, -o, -amos, -asteis, -aron. For -er and -ir verbs, the endings are -i, -iste, -io, -imos, -isteis, -ieron. Note the accent marks on the yo and el/ella/usted forms. There are numerous irregular preterites that must be learned. Many of them have a new stem and a distinct set of endings without accents: -e, -iste, -o, -imos, -isteis, -ieron. Key irregular stems include: tener → tuv-, estar → estuv-, andar → anduv-, poder → pud-, poner → pus-, saber → sup-, querer → quis-, venir → vin-, hacer → hic- (hizo in third person), decir → dij-, traer → traj-, conducir → conduj-. Verbs ending in -car, -gar, -zar have a spelling change only in the yo form to preserve pronunciation: -car → -que, -gar → -gue, -zar → -ce.

简单过去时用于描述过去已完成且有明确开始或结束的动作。规则 -ar 动词词尾为 -e、-aste、-o、-amos、-asteis、-aron。-er 和 -ir 动词词尾为 -i、-iste、-io、-imos、-isteis、-ieron。注意 yo 和 el/ella/usted 形式上的重音符号。

Example: Hacer → hice, hiciste, hizo, hicimos, hicisteis, hicieron

示例:Hacer → hice, hiciste, hizo, hicimos, hicisteis, hicieron

4. Imperfect Tense | 过去未完成时

The imperfect tense describes ongoing, habitual, or incomplete past actions, as well as background descriptions, time, weather, and emotional states. It is formed by adding the imperfect endings to the verb stem. For -ar verbs: -aba, -abas, -aba, -abamos, -abais, -aban. For -er and -ir verbs: -ia, -ias, -ia, -iamos, -iais, -ian. Only three verbs are irregular in the imperfect: ir (iba, ibas, iba, ibamos, ibais, iban), ser (era, eras, era, eramos, erais, eran), and ver (veia, veias, veia, veiamos, veiais, veian). The distinction between preterite and imperfect is a core examination skill: the preterite advances the plot by signalling completed events, while the imperfect sets the scene and describes circumstances.

过去未完成时描述持续、习惯性或未完成的过去动作,以及背景描写、时间、天气和情绪状态。它通过在动词词干上添加未完成时词尾构成。-ar 动词:-aba,-abas,-aba,-abamos,-abais,-aban。-er 和 -ir 动词:-ia,-ias,-ia,-iamos,-iais,-ian。未完成时只有三个不规则动词:ir(iba,ibas,iba,ibamos,ibais,iban)、ser(era,eras,era,eramos,erais,eran)和 ver(veia,veias,veia,veiamos,veiais,veian)。区分简单过去时和过去未完成时是一项核心考试技能:简单过去时通过交代已完成的事件推进情节,而未完成时则铺垫场景并描写状况。

When I was young, I used to play in the park every day. Cuando era joven, jugaba en el parque todos los dias.

当我小的时候,我每天都在公园玩耍。Cuando era joven, jugaba en el parque todos los dias.

5. Future and Conditional Tenses | 将来时与条件式

The simple future is formed by attaching the future endings directly to the full infinitive: -e, -as, -a, -emos, -eis, -an. All three conjugations share the same endings. There are twelve common irregular stems, which must be used instead of the infinitive: tener → tendr-, venir → vendr-, poner → pondr-, salir → saldr-, poder → podr-, saber → sabr-, haber → habr-, querer → querr-, decir → dir-, hacer → har-, caber → cabr-, valer → valdr-. The conditional tense uses the same irregular stems as the future, but with the endings of the imperfect for -er/-ir verbs: -ia, -ias, -ia, -iamos, -iais, -ian. The conditional expresses what you would do, polite requests, or hypothetical situations.

Tendre cuidado. (I will be careful.) / Tendria cuidado si pudiera. (I would be careful if I could.)

Tendre cuidado.(我会小心。)/ Tendria cuidado si pudiera.(如果我能,我会小心的。)

6. Perfect Tense and Past Participle | 现在完成时与过去分词

The present perfect tense is built with the auxiliary verb haber plus a past participle. The present indicative of haber is: he, has, ha, hemos, habeis, han. Regular past participles are formed by adding -ado to -ar stems (hablado) and -ido to -er/-ir stems (comido, vivido). Several high-frequency verbs have irregular past participles that must be memorised: abrir (abierto), decir (dicho), escribir (escrito), hacer (hecho), ver (visto), volver (vuelto), poner (puesto), romper (roto), morir (muerto), cubrir (cubierto). The perfect tense links the past to the present and is often used with expressions like hoy, este ano, ya, todavia no.

现在完成时由助动词 haber 与过去分词构成。haber 的现在时变位为:he、has、ha、hemos、habeis、han。规则的过去分词在 -ar 词干后加 -ado(hablado),在 -er/-ir 词干后加 -ido(comido,vivido)。许多高频动词有不规则的过去分词,需要熟记:abrir → abierto,decir → dicho,escribir → escrito,hacer → hecho,ver → visto,volver → vuelto,poner → puesto,romper → roto,morir → muerto,cubrir → cubierto。现在完成时将过去与现在联系起来,常与 hoy、este ano、ya、todavia no 等表达一起使用。

He terminado los deberes. (I have finished my homework.)

He terminado los deberes.(我已经完成了作业。)

7. Ser and Estar | 系动词 Ser 和 Estar

Both ser and estar translate as ‘to be’, but their uses are distinct. Ser is used for inherent, permanent, or defining characteristics: identity, nationality, occupation, origin, time, dates, possession, material, and where an event takes place. Estar is used for states and conditions that are viewed as temporary or resulting from a change: location of people and things, physical or emotional states, and the progressive form with the gerund (-ando/-iendo). A common mnemonic is DOCTOR for ser (Description, Occupation, Characteristic, Time, Origin, Relationship) and PLACE for estar (Position, Location, Action, Condition, Emotion).

ser 和 estar 都译为“是”,但用法截然不同。ser 用于固有、永久或定义性的特征:身份、国籍、职业、来历、时间、日期、所属关系、材质以及事件发生的地点。estar 用于被视为暂时或因变化而形成的状态和情况:人或物的位置、身体或情绪状态,以及与副动词(-ando/-iendo)构成的进行时态。常见的助记法是用 DOCTOR(Description, Occupation, Characteristic, Time, Origin, Relationship)对应 ser,用 PLACE(Position, Location, Action, Condition, Emotion)对应 estar。

  • Ser: Soy ingles. / Son las tres. / El concierto es en el parque.
  • Estar: Estoy cansado. / El libro esta en la mesa. / Estamos estudiando.

8. Adjectives and Agreement | 形容词及其一致性

Spanish adjectives must agree in gender and number with the noun they modify. Most adjectives ending in -o change to -a, -os, -as. Adjectives ending in -e or a consonant are invariable in gender but add -s or -es for plural: interesante → interesantes, joven → jovenes. Adjectives of nationality ending in a consonant add -a for feminine: espanol → espanola. Generally, descriptive adjectives follow the noun, but a few adjectives can precede the noun with a change in meaning: bueno, malo, grande, nuevo, viejo, mismo, diferente. Shortened forms appear before masculine singular nouns: buen dia, un gran problema, primer piso.

西班牙语形容词必须与其修饰的名词在性和数上保持一致。大多数以 -o 结尾的形容词变为 -a、-os、-as。以 -e 或辅音结尾的形容词性数不变,复数加 -s 或 -es:interesante → interesantes,joven → jovenes。以辅音结尾的国籍形容词,阴性加 -a:espanol → espanola。通常描述性形容词置于名词之后,但少数形容词放在名词前时含义会改变:bueno、malo、grande、nuevo、viejo、mismo、diferente。在阳性单数名词前会使用截短形式:buen dia、un gran problema、primer piso。

La casa blanca es muy grande. / Es un buen estudiante. (The white house is very big. / He is a good student.)

La casa blanca es muy grande. / Es un buen estudiante.(那栋白色的房子非常大。/ 他是个好学生。)

9. Comparative and Superlative | 比较级与最高级

Comparatives are formed with mas … que (more … than), menos … que (less … than), and tan … como (as … as). When comparing quantities, use mas/menos de before numbers. Four basic adjectives have irregular comparative forms: bueno → mejor (better), malo → peor (worse), grande → mayor (older/bigger), and pequeno → menor (younger/smaller). Mayor and menor are primarily used for age. The absolute superlative is created by placing muy before the adjective or adding the suffix -isimo/a/os/as: muy interesante or interesantisimo. The relative superlative uses el/la/los/las mas/menos + adjective + de.

比较级用 mas … que(更……比)、menos … que(不如……)和 tan … como(和……一样)构成。数量比较时,数字前用 mas/menos de。四个基本形容词有不规则比较级:bueno → mejor(更好的),malo → peor(更差的),grande → mayor(更大的/更年长的),pequeno → menor(更小的/更年幼的)。mayor 和 menor 主要用于年龄。绝对最高级将 muy 置于形容词前或加上后缀 -isimo/a/os/as:muy interesante 或 interesantisimo。相对最高级用 el/la/los/las mas/menos + 形容词 + de。

Maria es mas alta que Juan. / Es el edificio mas alto de la ciudad. (Maria is taller than Juan. / It is the tallest building in the city.)

Maria es mas alta que Juan. / Es el edificio mas alto de la ciudad.(玛丽亚比胡安高。/ 它是城里最高的建筑。)

10. Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns | 直接与间接宾语代词

Direct object pronouns replace the noun that directly receives the action: me, te, lo/la, nos, os, los/las. Indirect object pronouns indicate to whom or for whom the action is done: me, te, le, nos, os, les. When both are used together, the indirect pronoun comes first, and le/les changes to se before lo/la/los/las. Pronouns can be placed before a conjugated verb, or attached to the end of an infinitive, gerund, or affirmative command. In writing, remember to add an accent when attaching pronouns to maintain stress: damelo, esta escribiendomela.

直接宾语代词替换直接承受动作的名词:me、te、lo/la、nos、os、los/las。间接宾语代词表示动作是对谁或为谁而做:me、te、le、nos、os、les。当两者同时使用时,间接宾语代词放在前面,且 le/les 在 lo/la/los/las 前变为 se。代词可以放在变位动词前,也可以附在不定式、副动词或肯定命令式的末尾。书写时,附着代词后需加重音符号以保持重音位置:damelo,esta escribiendomela。

Le doy el libro a Ana. → Se lo doy. (I give the book to Ana. → I give it to her.)

Le doy el libro a Ana. → Se lo doy.(我把书给安娜。→ 我把它给她。)

11. Question Words and Sentence Structure | 疑问词与句子结构

Interrogatives are essential for forming questions. Common question words include: que? (what?), quien/quienes? (who?), cual/cuales? (which?), cuando? (when?), donde? (where?), como? (how?), por que? (why?), cuanto/a/os/as? (how much/many?). Interrogatives always carry a written accent. In questions, Spanish usually inverts the word order so the verb precedes the subject, although it is not always required. Negative
