Use it to check patterns quickly while practicing past papers or writing your own sentences.

这本简明手册汇集了 CIE GCSE 德语必备的语法“公式”。从格的变化到动词时态,从语序到形容词变格,每一条规则都以清晰的双语形式呈现。在做历年真题或自己造句时,可以用它快速查阅句型。

1. The German Case System | 德语格系统

German has four cases: nominative, accusative, dative and genitive. The nominative marks the subject of the sentence. The accusative marks the direct object. The dative marks the indirect object or follows certain prepositions. The genitive shows possession and is often replaced by ‘von + dative’ in spoken German.

德语有四个格:主格、宾格、与格和属格。主格标明句子的主语。宾格标明直接宾语。与格标明间接宾语或在某些介词后使用。属格表示所有关系,在口语中常被“von + 与格”取代。

In a simple sentence like ‘Der Mann gibt dem Kind den Ball’, ‘der Mann’ is nominative, ‘den Ball’ is accusative and ‘dem Kind’ is dative. Recognising these roles is the first formula for GCSE accuracy.

在简单句“Der Mann gibt dem Kind den Ball”中,“der Mann”是主格,“den Ball”是宾格,“dem Kind”是与格。辨别这些角色是 GCSE 准确表达的初级公式。

Words such as articles, pronouns and adjectives change their forms according to case. The entire system works like a set of interlocking building blocks.

冠词、代词和形容词等形式会根据格发生变化。整个系统就像一套相互扣合的积木。

2. Definite and Indefinite Articles | 定冠词与不定冠词

The definite article ‘the’ changes for gender, number and case. Below is the full declension of the definite article:

定冠词“the”随性、数、格变化。下面是定冠词的完整变格表:

Case Masc. Fem. Neut. Plural
Nominative der die das die
Accusative den die das die
Dative dem der dem den (-n)
Genitive des der des der

The indefinite article ‘a/an’ follows a similar pattern. Notice that in the plural there is no indefinite article, but the negative ‘kein’ follows the same endings.

不定冠词“a/an”遵循类似的模式。注意复数没有不定冠词,但否定词“kein”使用相同的词尾。

Case Masc. Fem. Neut.
Nominative ein eine ein
Accusative einen eine ein
Dative einem einer einem
Genitive eines einer eines

Mastering these grids is a quick win for writing and reading accuracy. Whenever you learn a new noun, always note its article – ‘der Tisch’, ‘die Tür’, ‘das Buch’.

掌握这些表格能快速提高写作和阅读的准确性。每学一个新名词,一定要记下它的冠词——例如“der Tisch”“die Tür”“das Buch”。

3. Noun Genders and Plurals | 名词性别与复数

Every German noun has a gender that must be memorised. However, some endings give strong clues: masculine nouns often end in -er, -el, -en, -ig, -ling; feminine nouns in -in, -ung, -heit, -keit, -schaft, -tion; neuter nouns in -chen, -lein, -ment, -um.

每个德语名词都有性,必须记忆。不过有些词尾能提供有力线索:阳性常以 -er、-el、-en、-ig、-ling 结尾;阴性以 -in、-ung、-heit、-keit、-schaft、-tion;中性以 -chen、-lein、-ment、-um。

Plural forms are not as predictable as in English. There are several patterns: adding -e (der Tisch – die Tische), adding -er (das Kind – die Kinder), adding -n/-en (die Frau – die Frauen), adding -s (das Auto – die Autos), or changing a vowel with an umlaut (der Vater – die Väter). Some nouns add -n in the dative plural.

复数形式不如英语可预测。有以下几种模式:加 -e(der Tisch – die Tische)、加 -er(das Kind – die Kinder)、加 -n/-en(die Frau – die Frauen)、加 -s(das Auto – die Autos)或元音变音(der Vater – die Väter)。有些名词在与格复数还要再加 -n。

A useful GCSE formula: whenever you note a noun, write it as ‘gender + nominative singular, genitive singular, nominative plural’, e.g., der Mann, des Mannes, die Männer.

一条有用的 GCSE 公式:每记一个名词,按“性 + 主格单数、属格单数、主格复数”记,如 der Mann, des Mannes, die Männer。

4. Personal Pronouns | 人称代词

Personal pronouns stand in for people or things and change form across cases. The table below covers the most essential GCSE pronouns.

人称代词代替人或物,并在不同格中变化。下表涵盖了 GCSE 最基本的人称代词。

Nom. Acc. Dat. English
ich mich mir I
du dich dir you (singular informal)
er ihn ihm he
sie sie ihr she
es es ihm it
wir uns uns we
ihr euch euch you (plural informal)
sie sie ihnen they
Sie Sie Ihnen you (formal)

For the genitive, GCSE rarely tests full pronouns; instead, possessive determiners like ‘mein’, ‘dein’ are used. However, knowing the above table allows you to construct sentences such as ‘Ich sehe ihn’ (I see him) and ‘Ich gebe ihr das Buch’ (I give her the book).

属格人称代词在 GCSE 中较少考查,通常用物主限定词如“mein”“dein”。但掌握上表就能造出“Ich sehe ihn”(我看见他)和“Ich gebe ihr das Buch”(我把书给她)之类的句子。

5. Verb Conjugation: Present Tense | 动词变位:现在时

Regular verbs follow a fixed pattern. Take ‘spielen’ (to play) as an example: stem ‘spiel-‘ plus endings -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en.

规则动词遵循固定模式。以“spielen”(玩)为例:词干“spiel-”加上词尾 -e、-st、-t、-en、-t、-en。

Person Ending spielen
ich -e spiele
du -st spielst
er/sie/es -t spielt
wir -en spielen
ihr -t spielt
sie/Sie -en spielen

Three auxiliary verbs have irregular present forms that must be memorised: sein, haben, werden.

三个助动词有不规则的现在时形式,必须记住:sein、haben、werden。

Person sein haben werden
ich bin habe werde
du bist hast wirst
er/sie/es ist hat wird
wir sind haben werden
ihr seid habt werdet
sie/Sie sind haben werden

Separable verbs (e.g., aufstehen) split off the prefix and send it to the end of the clause: ‘Ich stehe um 7 Uhr auf.’ Memorise a list of common prefixes: ab-, an-, auf-, aus-, ein-, mit-, nach-, vor-, zu-.

可分动词(如 aufstehen)将前缀分离并放到句末:“Ich stehe um 7 Uhr auf.” 记住常见前缀列表:ab-、an-、auf-、aus-、ein-、mit-、nach-、vor-、zu-。

6. Verb Conjugation: Perfect Tense | 动词变位:完成时

The spoken past in German is the Perfekt. It is formed with the present tense of ‘haben’ or ‘sein’ + the past participle (Partizip II). Most verbs use ‘haben’; verbs of movement or change of state often use ‘sein’ (e.g., gehen, fahren, sterben).

德语口语中的过去时是完成时。由“haben”或“sein”的现在时 + 过去分词构成。大多数动词用“haben”;表示移动或状态变化的动词常用“sein”(如 gehen、fahren、sterben)。

Regular past participles: ge- + stem + -t. Hence, spielen → gespielt, machen → gemacht. If the stem ends in -d or -t, insert an extra -e-: arbeiten → gearbeitet.

规则过去分词:ge- + 词干 + -t。因此 spielen → gespielt,machen → gemacht。如果词干以 -d 或 -t 结尾,要插入额外的 -e-:arbeiten → gearbeitet。

Irregular participles must be learned individually. A short GCSE high-frequency list includes: gehen – gegangen, sehen – gesehen, schreiben – geschrieben, essen – gegessen, trinken – getrunken, finden – gefunden, nehmen – genommen, bleiben – geblieben, fahren – gefahren.

不规则分词必须单独记忆。一个 GCSE 高频简表包括:gehen – gegangen、sehen – gesehen、schreiben – geschrieben、essen – gegessen、trinken – getrunken、finden – gefunden、nehmen – genommen、bleiben – geblieben、fahren – gefahren。

In a main clause, the auxiliary is in second position and the participle goes to the end: ‘
