1. Force and Newton’s Second Law | 力与牛顿第二定律

F = m × a

Newton’s Second Law links the resultant force (F) acting on an object to its mass (m) and the acceleration (a) it experiences. Force is measured in newtons (N), mass in kilograms (kg), and acceleration in metres per second squared (m/s²).

牛顿第二定律将作用在物体上的合力 (F) 与其质量 (m) 和加速度 (a) 联系起来。力以牛顿 (N) 为单位,质量以千克 (kg) 为单位,加速度以米每二次方秒 (m/s²) 为单位。

When calculating acceleration, always use the resultant force – the overall force after considering all pushes and pulls.
