Many IGCSE Geography candidates lose marks not because they do not know the content, but because they hold common misconceptions about key geographical ideas. These errors often appear in Paper 1 and Paper 2 answers, especially when students describe processes, interpret graphs or use case studies. This article identifies frequent misunderstandings and shows practical ways to correct them.
