📚 IGCSE CAIE French: Common Mistakes and How to Fix Them | IGCSE CAIE 法语:常见误区与纠正方法

IGCSE CAIE French tests your ability to understand and use French in practical situations, but small errors in grammar, vocabulary and exam technique can cost many marks. This revision guide highlights the most common mistakes made by candidates and shows how to correct them with clear examples.

IGCSE CAIE 法语考试考查你在实际情境中理解与使用法语的能力,但语法、词汇和应试技巧上的小错误往往会丢掉很多分数。本复习指南列出考生最常见的误区,并通过清晰的示例说明如何纠正。

1. Noun Gender and Articles | 名词性别与冠词

Many learners assume that French noun gender follows natural gender or English habits. In fact, every French noun is either masculine or feminine, and gender affects the article, adjective and pronoun. Common errors include writing “le table” instead of “la table” and “un école” instead of “une école”.

许多学习者以为法语名词的性总是遵循自然性别或英语习惯。实际上,每个法语名词要么是阳性,要么是阴性,性别会影响冠词、形容词和代词。常见错误包括把 la table 写成 le table,把 une école 写成 un école。

To fix this, learn nouns with their article as a single chunk: “la table”, “un ordinateur”, “les amis”. Pay special attention to endings: -tion, -sion, -té and -ette are often feminine, while -age, -ment, -eau and -phone are often masculine.

纠正方法是把名词和冠词当成一个整体来记:la table、un ordinateur、les amis。特别注意词尾:-tion、-sion、-té、-ette 常为阴性,而 -age、-ment、-eau、-phone 常为阳性。

Common Mistake Correction
le table la table
un maison une maison
la problème le problème

2. Adjective Agreement and Position | 形容词性数配合与位置

French adjectives must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. A mistake like “une robe blanc” is wrong because “robe” is feminine, so “blanche” is required.
