📚 IGCSE WJEC French: Core Rules and Sentence Formulas Quick Reference Handbook | IGCSE WJEC 法语:核心规则与句型公式速查手册
This quick reference handbook collects the essential formulas and rules you need for the WJEC IGCSE French examination. It focuses on high-frequency grammar patterns, tense-building formulas, pronoun placement and connectives that appear across the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Use these formulas as a checklist when you revise, because many marks depend on accurate application of these core structures rather than on memorising long vocabulary lists.
本速查手册汇集了 WJEC IGCSE 法语考试所需的核心公式与规则。它聚焦于高频语法模式、时态构成公式、代词位置和连词,这些内容贯穿听、说、读、写四项技能。复习时可以将这些公式当作清单使用,因为许多得分点取决于能否准确运用这些核心结构,而不是单纯背诵大量词汇。
1. Nouns, Gender and Articles | 名词、性别与冠词
Every French noun has a grammatical gender: masculine or feminine. The definite article is le before a masculine singular noun, la before a feminine singular noun, les before all plural nouns, and l’ before any singular noun beginning with a vowel or a silent h. The indefinite article is un for masculine singular, une for feminine singular and des for plural.
每个法语名词都有语法性别:阳性或阴性。定冠词在阳性单数名词前用 le,在阴性单数名词前用 la,在所有复数名词前用 les,在以元音或不发音的 h 开头的单数名词前用 l’。不定冠词在阳性单数名词前用 un,在阴性单数名词前用 une,复数用 des。
definite article + noun = le / la / l’ / les + noun
For quantities and abstract ideas, French uses the partitive article: du for masculine singular, de la for feminine singular, de l’ before a vowel, and des for plural. When de or à is followed by a definite article, they contract: de + le = du, de + les = des, à + le = au and à + les = aux.
表达数量或抽象概念时,法语使用部分冠词:阳性单数用 du,阴性单数用 de la,元音前用 de l’,复数用 des。当介词 de 或 à 后跟定冠词时,需要缩合:de + le = du,de + les = des,à + le = au,à + les = aux。
| Article | Masculine | Feminine | Plural |
|---|---|---|---|
| Definite | le / l’ | la / l’ | les |
| Indefinite | un | une | des |
| Partitive | du / de l’ | de la / de l’ | des |
2. Adjective Agreement and Position | 形容词一致与位置
In French, adjectives must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. The basic formula is: add -e for feminine, add -s for masculine plural, and add -es for feminine plural. For example, petit becomes petite, petits and petites.
在法语中,形容词必须与其修饰的名词在性和数上保持一致。基本公式是:阴性加 -e,阳性复数加 -s,阴性复数加 -es。例如,petit 变为 petite、petits 和 petites。
masculine adjective + -e = feminine; + -s = masculine plural; + -es = feminine plural
Most French adjectives are placed after the noun, but a small set of common adjectives usually go before the noun. A useful memory group is BAGS: beauty, age, goodness, size. Examples include beau, joli, jeune, vieux, bon, mauvais, grand, petit. Some adjectives have irregular feminine forms, such as beau → belle, nouveau → nouvelle, vieux → vieille and bon → bonne.
大多数法语形容词放在名词之后,但一小部分常见形容词通常放在名词之前。一个有用的记忆组是 BAGS:美、年龄、好、大小。例子包括 beau, joli, jeune, vieux, bon, mauvais, grand, petit。一些形容词有不规则的阴性形式,例如 beau → belle、nouveau → nouvelle、vieux → vieille 和 bon → bonne。
3. Present Tense Verb Formulas | 现在时动词变位公式
The present tense in French is formed by removing the infinitive ending and adding the correct set of endings. For regular -er verbs, the endings are -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent. So parler becomes je parle, tu parles, il/elle parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent.
法语现在时的构成方法是去掉不定式词尾,再加上正确的词尾组。对于规则 -er 动词,词尾是 -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent。因此 parler 变为 je parle, tu parles, il/elle parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent。
infinitive stem + -e / -es / -e / -ons / -ez / -ent
Regular -ir verbs such as finir use the endings -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent. Regular -re verbs such as vendre use -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent, with no ending for il/elle. The most frequent irregular verbs must be memorised: être (je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils sont), avoir (j’ai, tu as, il a, nous avons, vous avez, ils ont), aller (je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont) and faire (je fais, tu fais, il fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils font).
规则 -ir 动词如 finir 使用词尾 -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent。规则 -re 动词如 vendre 使用 -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent,il/elle 形式没有词尾。最高频的不规则动词必须牢记:être(je suis, tu es, il est, nous sommes, vous êtes, ils sont)、avoir(j’ai, tu as, il a, nous avons, vous avez, ils ont)、aller(je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont)和 faire(je fais, tu fais, il fait, nous faisons, vous faites, ils font)。
4. Passé Composé Formula | 复合过去时公式
The passé composé is used to express completed actions in the past. Its formula is: present tense of the auxiliary verb avoir or être plus the past participle. Most verbs use avoir, but a group of movement and reflexive verbs use être. With être, the past participle must agree in gender and number with the subject.
复合过去时用于表达过去已经完成的动作。其公式是:助动词 avoir 或 être 的现在时加上过去分词。大多数动词使用 avoir,但一组移动动词和所有自反动词使用 être。使用 être 时,过去分词必须与主语在性和数上保持一致。
avoir / être (present) + past participle = passé composé
Past participles follow regular patterns: -er verbs end in -é, regular -ir verbs end in -i, and regular -re verbs end in -u. Many common verbs have irregular past participles, such as faire → fait, voir → vu, prendre → pris and écrire → écrit. The être verbs can be remembered by the acronym DR MRS VANDERTRAMP: Devenir, Revenir, Monter, Rester, Sortir, Venir, Aller, Naître, Descendre, Entrer, Rentrer, Tomber, Retourner, Arriver, Mourir, Partir.
In negative sentences, the ne … pas goes around the auxiliary verb, not the past participle: Je n’ai pas mangé, Elle n’est pas allée.
在否定句中,ne … pas 环绕助动词,而不是过去分词:Je n’ai pas mangé,Elle n’est pas allée。
5. Imparfait Formula | 未完成过去时公式
The imparfait is used for descriptions, habitual actions and background information in the past. Its formula is: take the nous form of the present tense, remove the -ons ending, and add the imparfait endings -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient. For example, nous parlons gives the stem parl-, so je parlais, tu parlais, il parlait, etc.
未完成过去时用于描述过去的状态、习惯性动作和背景信息。其公式是:取现在时 nous 形式,去掉 -ons 词尾,再加上未完成过去时词尾 -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient。例如,nous parlons 的词干是 parl-,因此变为 je parlais, tu parlais, il parlait 等。
nous present stem + -ais / -ais / -ait / -ions / -iez / -aient
The only irregular stem in the imparfait is être, which uses ét-: j’étais, tu étais, il était, nous étions, vous étiez, ils étaient. When deciding between the passé composé and the imparfait, use the passé composé for single completed actions and the imparfait for ongoing, repeated or descriptive states.
未完成过去时唯一不规则的词干是 être,它使用 ét-:j’étais, tu étais, il était, nous étions, vous étiez, ils étaient。在选择复合过去时和未完成过去时的时候,单一完成的动作使用复合过去时,持续的、重复的或描述性的状态使用未完成过去时。
6. Future and Conditional Formulas | 将来时与条件式公式
The simple future tense is formed by adding future endings to the infinitive of regular verbs. The endings are -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont. For example, parler gives je parlerai, tu parleras, il parlera, nous parlerons, vous parlerez, ils parleront. The conditional uses the same stem but the imparfait endings -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient.
简单将来时的构成是在规则动词不定式后加上将来时词尾。词尾为 -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont。例如,parler 变为 je parlerai, tu parleras, il parlera, nous parlerons, vous parlerez, ils parleront。条件式使用相同的词干,但使用未完成过去时词尾 -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient。
infinitive + -ai / -as / -a / -ons / -ez / -ont = future
Several common verbs have irregular future and conditional stems. These include être → ser-, avoir → aur-, aller → ir-, faire → fer-, pouvoir → pourr-, vouloir → voudr-, voir → verr- and venir → viendr-. The same stem is used for both tenses: je serai (future) and je serais (conditional).
一些常用动词有将来时和条件式的不规则词干。包括 être → ser-、avoir → aur-、aller → ir-、faire → fer-、pouvoir → pourr-、vouloir → voudr-、voir → verr- 和 venir → viendr-。两种时态使用相同的词干:je serai(将来时)和 je serais(条件式)。
7. Negation Formulas | 否定公式
The basic negation formula in French is ne + verb + pas. In spoken French, the ne is often dropped, but in writing and in the WJEC examination you should keep it. For example, Je ne mange pas means I do not eat. Other negative expressions replace pas: ne … plus (no longer), ne … jamais (never), ne … rien (nothing), ne … personne (nobody) and ne … que (only).
法语的基本否定公式是 ne + 动词 + pas。在口语中,ne 经常被省略,但在写作和 WJEC 考试中应保留。例如,Je ne mange pas 表示我不吃。其他否定表达替换 pas:ne … plus(不再)、ne … jamais(从不)、ne … rien(没有什么)、ne … personne(没有人)和 ne … que(仅仅)。
ne + conjugated verb + pas / plus / jamais / rien / personne / que
In compound tenses such as the passé composé, ne goes before the auxiliary and pas goes after the auxiliary: Je n’ai pas fini. With infinitives, both parts usually go before the infinitive: ne pas manger. The expression ne … personne keeps personne after the participle: Je n’ai vu personne.
在复合时态如复合过去时中,ne 放在助动词前,pas 放在助动词后:Je n’ai pas fini。与不定式连用时,两部分通常放在不定式之前:ne pas manger。ne … personne 结构中 personne 放在过去分词之后:Je n’ai vu personne。
8. Question Formulas | 疑问公式
There are three main ways to ask a yes/no question in French. The simplest is rising intonation: Tu aimes le sport ? The more formal formula uses est-ce que before a normal statement: Est-ce que tu aimes le sport ? The most formal is inversion, where the subject pronoun and verb are reversed: Aimes-tu le sport ?
法语中有三种主要的提问方式是/否问题的方法。最简单的是升调:Tu aimes le sport ? 较正式的公式是在正常陈述句前加
